As good as they come. Justin returns all phone calls and texts very promptly. He was running late by a few mins, but kept me informed on his progress and ETA. He arrived, looked at the problem, diagnosed it. He also told me that he could do the work, but it would be better (and cheaper) to call roto-rooter. Wow! Even though I took his advice and didn't use his services, I feel very comfortable calling him in the future for any issues.

Reliable, quick service and less than half the price of the quotes I received from the competitors. I had a giant water heater stuffed into a small closet that needed to be replaced. The drain was broken off of the old water heater and the other plumbers said that the water would leak out all over the floor. All I could think of was, "great 50 gallons all over the floor, there goes the house". justin never spilled a drop and didn't complain about having to get an new giant water heater into a tiny closet. Why would you go anywhere else, such reasonable prices and
high quality work? -

If you know a good plumber, you know who to call when you have issues with your pipes or have a dream project in mind. The rest of us use yelp to help us find services. That's why I like to write reviews, for people like me and you.
I work in Construction and always like meeting qualified subcontractors that are easy to work with. Plumbing issues or home remodeling projects are not as fun as they may seem, so having someone who is fair, easy to get along with, prompt and does quality work can make all the difference.
I met Justin a couple years ago, but recently had the opportunity of hiring him to replace a toilet at my new place. He came out to the city to check out my project and I decided on switching out the toilet instead of another repair. The toilet we had was previously repaired by another plumber but continued to run. After a couple months of larger water bills, I finally just replaced the whole commode. Might as well take care of business, lol.
We purchased a low-flow Kohler toilet and it was installed within the hour. I was really pleased with his service and recommend him for all new plumbing and remodeling projects. -

We had a problem, Justin was on it. He called me right back (on a Sunday on a holiday weekend!), came over quickly to check out the problem, and then gave me great advice about how to handle it. Even though he could have sold me on him doing the work, he convinced me that we'd be overpaying if he did it (because of the local permitting red tape in my city which is in coco county) and to hire someone who does more work where i live. He seems super honest, straightforward and totally reliable. I would definitely work with him in the future.

Justin just left my house. I called him to say that my toilet wouldn't stop running, and he arrived at my house within minutes, only to find that it mysteriously started working again. He didn't charge me at all, which was really nice of him, given that he'd literally dropped what he was doing to drive over.

I just had a wonderful experience with Justin and want to share it.
I had a really weird and unusual water leak which had baffled the first two plumbers who had come to look at the problem. I was getting frustrated trying to 1) identify the problem and 2) coming up with a way to correct it. Justin looked at the leak and was able to assess the problem, drawing from his extensive experience. In addition he gave me a great solution which I can implement myself. He didn't charge me for the visit.
Justin -- thank you so much for your expertise and your honesty and integrity! You will be the FIRST person I call next time i have a plumbing problem. -

I think Justin is Great! I moved to a new home in El Cerrito and discovered that the sink was leaking in the kitchen. Obviously, I didn't want this to go on for too long and it is hard to find a good plumber. I called Justin and he was able to come over quickly and install my new sink. He did a good job, was fair, and actually seems like a pretty cool guy. I got the feeling that he isn't out there just to rip people off like many plumbers are, he want's to do a good job and have you be a satisfied customer.

I am happy to say that after experiencing a total disaster in our kitchen sink these guys made my day! They were very efficient, professional, and inexpensive. They had to come back twice in one day and arrived immediately when asked to return.
They cleaned up well and even helped me install a part for my new dishwasher for free. I will definately use them again. -

Called in and asked if he could come in and check out a leak that is occurring underneath my house.
He let me know right away the issue, didn't try to upsell me or anything. A very honest man. In fact, he told me what I should do, and gave me a referral. In the end, he didn't ask for one penny. Nothing. Aulday came alll the way to my house, gave free advice, and left. WOW!

Great plumber and really nice guy too. He made himself available on very short notice, showed up exactly on time, offered to go the store for me to get all the correct parts, and was able to finish everything up within the hour. Definitely money well spent. I would recommend him for all of your plumbing needs without the least bit of hesitation.

We've used Justin for about half a dozen jobs in our new house including: on-demand water heater, plumbing in new kitchen, copper re-pipe of house, new sewer connection. He does terrific work and is generally a mensch -- fun to have around, which is important when your home is being worked on. We've always received very good quotes from him and super-prompt service.

Justin Aulday is fantastic - he came out to oakland (doesn't only service richmond( when our old water heater broke (and I mean the bottom fell out and flooded the whole basement) he was able to come out the same day with a new water heater in tow and get it all hooked up. At the same time he took care of other plumbing issues we had with very few incremental charges (installing a toilet ring! UGG!). We have a very complicated solar water heater 2nd system and he was able to make sure it worked properly and those systems are not common. So I give him a very high rating for professionalism, skill and response time. I think his pricing is extremely fair as well. We've done a lot of construction and dealt with a lot of vendors of all types, and not everyone makes my A list! Justin does. I would recommend him for all of your plumbing needs.

I have called Justin four times for various problems from cleaning out a drain, dishwasher diagnosis, to faucet installation. He is always nice, inexpensive, professional and efficient. That's not supposed to occur in the natural world, especially in from realm of plumbers. I'm waiting for meatballs to start falling from the sky.

Justin first offered a solution that we could implement on the plumbing issue at my father's rental property. That is very professional in my opinion. I do the same thing in my business and people really appreciate it. I was unable to take care of it. So, I called back and had Justin take care of it. Happy tenants! Thank you!

Justin has saved the day more than once! I've had him work at my hair salon, replace all the piping in my home, add water pipes to my in law unit and recently had him replace some leaking pipes that saved me many dollars. Justin has been there for me more than once with SOS calls. Trustworthy, funny and affordable. Thanks Justin, you're the best!

Justin does great work at a bargain. Out of 6 different plumbers he gave us the most affordable bid and was able to start within a week. We ordered a new Noritz tankless water heater installed and he got it done in no time. He also installed a dishwasher and icemaker line with no problems.

Our water main broke over the weekend. On Monday I started calling plumbers. Justin had good "Yelps" so I tried him. He called me right back and rearranged his day to come by at 12:30.
He arrived on time, quickly assessed the problem and had it fixed in two hours. His rates are fair, his service is excellent and he has a professional yet laid back style that I really like.
I will use him again when I need plumbing help and definitely recommend him! -

I feel awful leaving a bad review because we really liked Justin. He is a totally cool guy but did not solve our issue. I contacted Justin because we had these little bugs and a gross smell in our bathroom. He went in our crawl space and said our toilet was leaking. So he replaced the seal and said it was fine. Fast forward a week, the bugs were getting worse as well as the smell. We contacted him and he wasn't available (no problem) and we contacted someone else. We found a plumber who was able to diagnose the issue that we had a sewer pipe that had bursted. He removed the pipe and replaced it. Underneath our house sat crap and piss that has soaking for awhile which caused the bugs and smell. The plumber we contacted was unsure how Justin missed this because this was a big issue and there was a large leak. Justin also charged us $10 for a seal when it sells for Home Depot for like $5. I feel like we wasted $110 on an issue that didn't even need fixing. We would not recommend and will not be using his services. He was a very cool guy and I do feel bad leaving this review but we feel that we were taken advantage of.

Justin came over on a Saturday morning, arriving earlier than scheduled, spent time diagnosing the problem, fixed it properly, including two trips under the house and done and done well in an hour or so. Justin spent enough time testing and checking to figure out that my problem was in the $125 range, not almost $500 that the other guys quoted me. He also fixed a loose shower handle in the bargain. So a big thank you for being great to deal with and doing good work at a considerable savings. My sister, a non-Yelper, also had a great experience with Justin. So two thumbs up for Aulday Plumbing.

I have used Justin's services for several different plumbing issues and he always fixed the issue in a timely manner and his work was of great quality. When I built All In One Fitness THE GYM last October and needed commercial plumbing work, I had about 6 plumbers give me an estimate. Justin's estimate came in the lowest and I decided to go with his services. He built two full bathrooms with three toilets and two showers. He showed up on time and he finished all of his work within the promised time. I highly recommend Justin, we are really happy with his work. found Justin from aulday plumbing on yelp last week. called him last thursday about a bathroom faucet that had no cold water coming out. he scheduled a two hour window and gave me a quote over the phone so I knew what to expect (very reasonable rate for typical in-home services).
friday (9/4/09) came and he showed up on time and got right to work. i was afraid i needed to replace the faucet, but he took everything apart and tested each component, and found that there was gunk trapped in the cold water valve. it was good as new after he put everything back. he even helped me tighten the hot water faucet which was a little loose.
on top of all that he was very nice to deal with. -

Just used this plumber and everyone that has written great reviews is right. Justin came out on the day specified on time and fixed our problem. Water was backing up everywhere in the house when we used the washer and kitchen sink. Everything's working great now. Justin installed a new on-demand water heater for me, and moved the old one to a different house. He does good work - I like it that he cared that the pipes were straight, that the installation was clean and secure, etc.. He gave me a quote for the full job, which was competitive with others I had received. He did the work very quickly, which resulted in a pretty good per-hour pay, and made me consider a career change.
