Villa Park, CA
Let me start off by saying that I've been going to the irisher ever since it opened up. I live really close so it has always been my go-to local pub.
Service:
I'm seeing a lot of people complain about the service and I agree...to some extent. Yes, there are few girls there that should not be working in customer service. There has been times (mostly around lunch time) that I've felt ignored. I've also had a couple servers with horrible attitudes. Now with that being said, I've also had AMAZING service. Nick, especially, is a great bartender! I see him behind the bar pretty much every time I go in. He is a great guy, tries to get you what you want as quickly as possible, and always makes me feel at home.
Atmosphere:
Typical Irish pub with all the stuff decorating the walls. They have a couple of TVs (which I always watch the Ducks game on) and they are scattered around so you can sit almost anywhere in the bar and still see a TV. About 8ish they turn the lights way down and they have live bands on the weekend. Tijuana Dogs and Pullman Standard are two of the bands that perform there every now and again. Go check them out!
Now for the food and beer:
Well obviously they have Guinness and Smithwick's so I'm always happy! They have a full bar and like I said earlier the bartender is awesome. I usually stick to beer unless I'm celebrating with friends, in which case we go to shots. The waitresses are usually pretty good at recommending different shots so I always like to try something new. I usually get the Irish nachos which are perfection. My sister loves the spicy potatoes, which are good but not really spicy. Most my friends stick with the fish or corned beef tacos but I prefer the Ruben. At least we can all agree on one thing...tater tots! If you have tater tots on the menu, I will be ordering them!
I love the Irisher...it's close to my home, the Honda Center, Angel Stadium, and the movie theater. If I'm going to any one of these places I usually stop by the Irisher first for a drink. -

Eats: corned beef tacos
The talk was that our group would visit the Auld Irisher, because most missed the St Patrick's Day festivities the day prior. On a Sunday night, the restaurant was at about 1/4 capacity, mostly from another large group that was wrapping up. We were asked to sit where we wanted, but there really was only 1 spot to sit a group of 12 and it was already taken, so we broke up the group. Service was a bit mediocre with one of the drink orders being completely missed not once, but after 2 requests. Word on the group says that the fish and chips were good, and they looked good, but I decided on the corned beef tacos since they were the most unique in my eyes. The flavor of the corned beef was tasty being not too salty. There was also a light mayo based sauce which flavored the lettuce and tomatoes on the 3 street tacos. The amount of corned beef wasn't skimped at all which made my tummy happy. One big mistake to ruin it all was that it came out a bit cold. Had they came out warmer, I'm sure that the flavor would have been atleast 3 times better. If I were to come back, I'd probably order corned beef tacos again to see if it improves, else the majority in my party said the fish and chips were pretty good. -

Huntington Beach, CA
typical Americanized Irish Pub for the most part.
The GOOD:
Decent food menu tried the Fish & Chips which were really good especially to go with my drink
nice place to go grab a drink before/after the movies (which is just a short walk away)
sometimes they have live bands or a DJ spinning so it's fun to have some music to listen/dance to
The BAD:
SLOW SLOW SLOW bartenders!!! their bar service is by far some of the slowest i have EVER experienced (I run the front-end at a club so I know how fast a customer should have to wait to be acknowledge and order taken even when it is busy). There was even a bartender just standing there looking around while at least 3 people were trying to order drinks...UNACCEPTABLE. Took me a solid 10 mins to even get acknowledged that someone was going to get my order.
They do NOT wipe down their bars periodically so it was a mess at some spots. You guys have towels back there....use them, customers don't like getting an elbow-full of spilled beer when they have to lean over the bar to give you their order.
Super sticky floors...they obviously don't wipe up spills there either.
OVERALL: if you plan on coming here go around lunch or dinner, it's not as crowded and you won't have to wait forever to order food/drinks and you will have a place to sit & hang out. -

I agree with the range of reviews. Realize it depends on how crowded the bar is.
I go here for Irish fare, football, and Black and Tans but I come back on the weekend nights if they have a live band its always fun and affordable entertainment. -

Before going to see the movie Chronicle, Duke D. and I decided that we'd have dinner at the first place where we had reconnected months ago. On a Thursday night, it was quite empty with only two people sitting at the bar. The bartender looked a bit surprised to see us come in for dinner but he was very nice. We had made it in time for Happy Hour so wanted to take advantage of that by ordering our desired pints of Guinness.
We also got a side of their "Irish Nachos" since it was on the Happy Hour menu, and we weren't starving. We figured a side and an entree would be enough. These were huge! They were basically like regular nachos but atop french fries rather than tortilla chips. I guess that's what makes them Irish, the potatoes. These were actually very good since the veggies on them were fresh and the bacon bits actually pieces of bacon. The fries were hot and fantastic. I'm definitely getting these again.
Our entree was their Guinness beef stew in boxty format. I'd say that these were a little uninspired in terms of flavor. I mean, it was great that it wasn't too salty as a lot of beef stews tend to be but the flavor wasn't very strong otherwise. I liked the potatoes inside because they were quite smooth in texture. The beef was soft, and the boxty slightly crisp. Would I order again? Probably not. Still, it's a cool place to chill at.Listed in: Orange County, Alcohol Lovin'

A review soley for their Lamb burger and tater tots.
I've been told their other dishes are delicious as well, I'll have to come back and try them. Every time I've gone I've had the intentions of trying something different but then I'm lured back to the little lamb burger. baaaaa.
This is exactly how a burger should taste, so very tender and juicy. Makes me feel bad when i see a lamb and i just start to drool. The meat to bread to veggie ratio is perfect. I hate it when one item over powers the other.
Beware though, their tots come with curry on it. It was a surprise the first time I tried it. It's still very good. I've ordered it with out and it still had a very faint taste of curry. So if you don't like curry then just skip on the tots. -

Firstly, they wouldn't honor my "Restaurants.com" gift certificate because they say they stopped participating in that a few months back. I bought mine in October (6months ago) and they still wouldn't honor it.
Food was greasy, and they got my order wrong. I won't go anywhere where a manger isn't empowered to make something right. -

Ok, so I feel a little bit torn about this place so I'm not exactly sure where to put it so i'll try my best to explain my mixed feelings.
First off, I have walked by this place 100 times and always thought "hmm one day I will have to try this place out" but always decided against it because of all the other good restaurants right in the same area (Lazy Dog Cafe mostly). The Auld Irisher is more like a bar that serves food than a restaurant that serves drinks and I went on a random weekday for a bit of a late lunch and the vibe felt more like a seedy dive bar even though the decor said otherwise.
Most everyone in there was saddled up to the bar making idle chat with the bar tender, or sitting at a corner table with their nose buried in a newspaper. Even the waitress seemed pretty disengaged and would disappear for several minutes at a time while the bar tender was taking the orders and handing out menus to people as they strolled in. Eventually the waitress would emerge from the back to check her cell phone, take a shot (not kidding), and complain about having to stay later than she was scheduled or something. Pretty entertaining and it didn't really bother me since I was just there for a quick hit of bar food so I wouldn't say it was a negative thing, just different.
As for the food, I opted for the fish 'n chips since there are a lot of places that do it, but not many that do it well. I feel like it is a bit of an "indicator food" since it is quintessential irish/english pub food and a good bar by which other things can be measured. The verdict?.... It was ok. At $9 for a half order it wasn't too bad considering I had more than enough food to fill up on and for $14 you can get a full order that would easily feed 2. Ultimately though, the fish was just fish and the fries were very pedestrian. It was good, but not great and considering the fish 'n chips plus one Guiness got me out the door for $23 after tip; there are probably 2 dozen restaurants within 3 miles of this place that would be just as good, if not better, and closer to half the price.
To sum it all up, I was glad I went and to be fair the bartender there was really friendly and down to earth (the waitress might as well have been the coat rack, but ultimately that didn't really matter). Food was ok, but I doubt I will be going back any time soon. -

A couple of the guys from work and I made the trek to come over here after a day at work. The bartender, Alaina, was super nice and even made a clover drawing in the head of my Guinness! That's talent right there folks! Between the four of us we ordered up the traditional buffalo wings and a plate of irish nachos. Both dishes were enough to satisfy our appetites, and were delcious to boot! We went during happy hour which was a great time to go if you wanna get a good deal. Definitely not good for a date night, as it is a pub after all and can get quite loud, but it sure is a hell of a place to kill some time with your buddies. Go on and get some!

Review from Ryan M.
This review is for 12/04/2011. Just before the game, my boss wanted to go to their watering hole at a nearby bar before the game. They named this place their bar away from their bar. They've frequented the Anaheim Area for the hockey and/or baseball game. I've heard my boss always mention this place called the Irisher, aka the Auld Irisher.
We arrived to parking lot at 3:50 p.m. with a security guards on-site. Apparently, parking on the lot is a problem since Honda Center is just within a mile of the shopping center. We walked in and it was a good looking bar. We were greeted by a cute waitress with glasses, but I was nervous. I couldn't even remember what drink I what I wanted....Oh yeah...Cape Cod.
While we were waiting, the Giants vs Packers was on. I know they have at least two TVs, but I am not sure where exactly where the other TV was located since I stared at the TV at the wall. Our group order two types of Sliders, Corned Beef and I believe it was just regular beef Sliders. Both have three sliders each and it was delicious. Also, we ordered one plate of fries with melted cheese. Our waitress definitely took care of me when I was about to order another Cape Cod. She knew what i was thinking.
I don't have a price since my bosses paid for the meal since I drove them to Anaheim. Service was excellent and waitress was definitely cute. I may have to find some tickets for games in the area so I can visit more frequently. This place is definitely full of fan from Ducks to Angels before and after the game. I can't wait to come back here again. By the way, I am Irish....Ryan stands for Little King :)

This place has gone downhill over the past few years. It's less an Irish pub and more an unconvincing parody of an Irish pub. the menu has been significantly reduced to leave a discerning palate wanting. The service is temperamental. Sometimes good, sometimes barley tolerable. This place used to be pretty cool. Not so much any more.
I'd love to see it turn around and become a cool place again. If it does, I'll be happy to alter this review. -

It's not a bad place, actually. It's basically a bar that happens to serve food.
The servers were nice, but they need one or two more for weekend nights, in my opinion.
The fish 'n chips was borderline disgusting, so just enjoy a Guiness and skip the food. -

I'm a big fan of any place that has Guiness on tap, but this Irish pub has a lot more.
The fish n chips is fantastic, and wifey loved the spinach salad with chicken and goat cheese.
The appetizers are great too. Best of all - service with a smile.
We'll be back. -
Review from Nancy P.
We came only because of a coupon but we'll be back because of the great food. We normally don't drink too much but with Guinness on tap and a refreshing Blue moon we had too.
We LOVED the fish N chips ($9 for 1 huge piece or $14 for 2). We got 2 huge pieces and were in heaven. My hubby orders it everywhere and now this is going to be his #1. He is in fried fish heaven. This is really the best. Hands down winner over Ye Old Ship's version. I ate a lot of his fish, too because it was so good. They offer it with house made tarter sauce, Sarson's malt vinegar (the best) and a huge amount of fries. The batter is made with Smithwicks beer and that must be the key to "delicious, get in my belly, yumminess". It's so tender and yet crunchy. We also ordered the ABC burger ($13) which is really good. It was a big burger with avocado, bacon, cheddar on it. Yum! I asked for medium and actually got medium. I got my choice for a side of fries, tater tots, soup or salad. I chose fries but wished they were crunchier.
We will definitely come back with friends. Great place to watch a game and hang out a bit.
They do have desserts that are not listed on the menu. -

Review for 12-16-11.
Met a few friends for drinks around 6:30. The place was dead so you'd think service would be good. Wrong!
Slow service with an attitude. Friend ordered a Stella and the waitress said they were out. How are you out of a beer that you regulary serve on a Friday night? Walked across the parking lot and had great service at King's. -
Review from Randi B.
Had dinner here pre-Britney concert with my friends. We started with the fried mac and cheese, which were average, but the dipping sauce served with them made them really good.
For dinner I had some potato leek soup that was delicious, and filling. I should have just had that and skipped on the entree. But, I also ordered an Irish stew boxty, which was good, but lacking in the beef department. I think I received maybe 3 pieces of meat, all very small. It was mostly vegetables and gravy.
Service was good, prices were reasonable. When in this center, I prefer King's Fish House, but I would come here over Acapulco any day.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Review from Brandon S.
Newport Beach, CA
So this is where we decided to end our night of football in the CPT visit from Boston. This was a first time for me, as the others in my group had been here a few times before to Pre and Post Ducks game. It was another night where the Ducks were in town, and we expected it to be busy. It wasn't. We were the only three in the place outside of the family in back that was working on leaving. We were met at the door by a gent who was friendly enough, but seemed to be more interested in whomever he was texting on his iPhone, and what next horrible song he was going to partly play before skipping to the next. There is a lot to be said about ambiance, but someone partially playing songs doesn't quite create that. For our two hours there we heard him skip through a bunch of songs then settle for Micheal Jackson songs that no one has ever heard for good reason. Yeah brah, I get that MJ was a legend, but that's not exactly the type of thing a bunch of dudes want to hear while trying to watch football. It's almost comical. But, hey I was out with good friends, so we were bullshitting enough of the time that it was only a little annoying. Besides we are shitty people, and took our turns making fun of him.
The waitress was good, and attentive. Got to our needs quickly, and didn't waste any time getting our orders in. Again, we went with that when in Rome attitude and ordered up some Guinness (spelled it right that time) and since the bartender/DJ was in sight, we were a little scared this wasn't going to go well. He was texting again, and pouring beer with his free hand. He did stop pouring half way through, which is a good start so we looked away and concentrated on Football. Oh yeah, football. We arrived with no TV's on, and it took him forever to manage working a remote and texting in his free hand. Unfortunately homeboy can't multitask quite as well as he believes he can. Just like the Music, he bounced through at least 10 channels before he figured out where the Lions game was. Despite one of our party trying to help him. Our non-expertly poured Guinness arrived in a huge foamy mess. I'll admit we did get a full glass each of beer, but there was at least a half a glass of on our napkins from the bad pour. Oh well, Brandon win some Brandon lose some.
I was still full of Yummy goodness from our food truck session earlier and didn't order any food. Which was the smartest thing I did all day. They got the old stand by of Fish and Chips. It certainly looked good, and for a second I was regretting not ordering along with them. A few moments into their meal, I was asked....hey taste this, is there something wrong with it? I tasted, and wow the fish was cooked but it was covered with uncooked batter under that top layer, so much batter was left uncooked that it was almost cold. But since this was the last stop and were all men men men. They just ate it and complained amongst each other. We decided that since it wasn't busy, that telling them it was under cooked would translate into them trying to fix it and giving it some a little extra water, and a few electrolytes, so they passed. We did complain to the waitress afterward, but there isn't much you can do since they devoured it anyhow.
I won't be going back, but the waitress was good and can't be blamed for the kitchen staff putting out garbage, or the bartenders bad taste in music. That gave them a 2. Unlike a waitress at another establishment we visited that day, this one understood that she had to earn the ability to go Richard on us before she did it. So that alone saves them from a well deserved 1. -
Review from Andrew B.
I've been here a few times and this is probably going to be one of my haunts now that I've moved closer to the area. As far as the food goes, you're looking at the standard bar fare: greasy, filling, a bit pricey. It's nice that it's an Irish place so you've got some tasty twists (boxtys, corned beef, etc.) that you can't find at other places. Also, they've got a decent beer selection with some good seasonals.
Amazingly enough, I really loved their taco Tuesday deal. The tacos are $1 or $2 depending on which one you order and they are about double the size of your typical street taco. There are four types and all are pretty darn delicious. Here's the breakdown:
* Seared Ahi - Everybody in my group loved it. I thought it was decent but not awe-inspiring. The fish is okay, the sauce has good flavor.
* Corned Beef - A very cool change of pace. Flakes of corned beef with horseradish sauce. Delicious!
* Fried fish - Batter was a bit doughy but the cabbage and sauce added great flavor.
* Mushroom - My favorite. A very strong spice and the mushrooms were actually quite juicy. Awesome!
The happy hour is pretty good - $4 pints, $5 wells and 1/2 off appetizers. Not the best but certainly not bad considering the selection. All in all, a decent option if you're looking for good happy hours and tasty tacos.
Cheers! -

I would love to be writing a review about the food and drinks at this place right now. Unfortunately despite being at the pub for over 30 minutes we didn't get any.
I arrived here with some friends around 7:30pm on a weeknight, the place was pretty empty and they only had one server. We walked up and after no one coming to seat us, asked if it was self-seat, they said that was fine... Ok... We sat ourselves next to the other groups which were outside and waited. Despite the server knowing we were there she never approached us, even after one of our group member got up, found her and asked for menus. After 30 minutes of being ignored, we got up and left.
I gave it a chance, probably wont give it another. -

The Auld Irisher is not a bad bar or restaurant, but it's such a mediocre place to eat that their prices are excessively high for the little they do offer. Both the inside and the outside of the restaurant of the restaurant have a somewhat authentic, somewhat tacky tavern look that can make the Irisher a fun place to visit. The wait service on my last visit was fine: not bad and also not exceptional. Their food is very plain, and doesn't have the taste or selection of genuine pub food. I've had both their tacos and salads, and found each of them to be bland menu items. On my last visit, three dinners and two rounds of drinks added up to a whopping $72. I don't mind paying a lot for exceptional or even good food, but the Auld Irisher is too average in quality to justify going back and paying that level of price.

Cerritos, CA
I was in China for the past 5 months doing some volunteer work and I lost around 17 lbs overall and most of my appetite due to stomach shrinkage; these days I eat maybe 2 fist sized meals a day.
So I came in here fully expecting to only eat 2 of their tacos - the fried fish and the corned beef - and maybe a bite or two of my friends' food. I ended up eating the fried fish and the corned beef tacos, having a bite of the mushroom, the seared ahi, and the potato tacos, splitting the irish nachos, the goat cheese & truffle tots, and lamb sliders, and ordering a Horse Collar (bourbon, ginger ale, bitters, & an orange wedge for those not in the know.)
By the way, their Taco Tuesday special is BOMB! They price their regular tacos between $1-$1.75/each and these things are a good size.
Fried fish taco: Good, too much sauce imo, but still good.
Corned beef: Corn tortilla topped with slaw, corned beef, and horseradish cream sauce. I'm salivating as I type this out. I love horseradish. Probably my favorite taco.
Seared ahi taco: Blackened ahi, slaw, corn tortilla. Nice flavors.
Mushroom taco: Great sauce, meaty but not heavy, nice flavors. My 2nd favorite taco.
Potato taco: It was nice... potatoes and pico de gallo. Good but my least favorite.
Irish nachos: Fries with melted cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and bacon.
Tots: Crunch on the outside, fluffy on the inside, doused with truffle oil, and covered with crumbled chevre. Yum!
Lamb sliders: Ciabatta bun, lamb patty, horseradish mayo. Lamb was dry. Could've used more mayo. But still tasty.
They also make a nice horse collar. Props for having bitters! Also... it was only $6!!!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! This drink would have set me back $13 in LA!
Mad props yo. -

Bar is = Very Chill. No cover charge. Mid 30's to late 40's crowd. Live Music. Patio for smoking.
I wasn't that impressed with the menu and it is a BEER place, so if you are into Ale and Stout, you are probably in the right place. I am a wine drinker, so I was not and the wine was NOT good.
Also, they have a few tables in the bar area, but the stools are not very comfortable and most don't even have backs.. like the dunce stool in the old movies.. not good.. i like to relax and kick back when I am listening to a band.
The band was pretty good, a few people danced.. it was not a very young hip crowd and I think I spotted some 40 something swingers...
So you choose.... it wasn't for me... but nothing wrong with the place.. cute, chill, Irish.... -

This place is a joke with the worst customer service ever! What business accepts a reservation for 19, messes is up, and doesn't even offer any gift certificate or even an honest apology!?
I live nearby but sufficed to say I will never go here again. -

Decided to take the boss here for lunch today and the food was just ok. I ordered the Rueben sandwich. The bread was a bit overdone but overall the sandwich wasn't bad. Good amount of meat and flavor was good. Tater tots were good too but those are pretty hard to screw up! I did have the broccoli cheddar soup and it was much too salty for my taste. Two of my co-workers ordered burgers which they said were ok. Chicken Avacado Club was the best thing I tasted on this outing.
Overall appearance of the place was clean, including the bathroom but I must say that they really need to put a fresh coat of paint on both bathroom doors as they were pretty nasty. Pricing was a little high but we had a http://restaurant.com coupon that made up for it! Would I go back? Probably not. -

Monday night happy hour + Geeks Who Drink pub quiz night = the bee's knees. I wish it was spring break all the time, so I could hang out every Monday night here as late as humanly possible!
I made the critical error of taking three stooges out of their normal element and accompanying them to the Irisher. Over at our normal hang, we're the cocks of the walk and practically own the joint; apparently the transition to meaningless loud non-participatory peon is just too much stress to bear for some guys I guess.
Aside from having to apologize on these honeybuns' behalf, and also having to bear down and make some definitive decisions that didn't begin with the statement "well, what do you guys think" or "I don't know, whatever you guys want" -- I had a fun night last night. I mean for us to eat and drink comfortably for $20 a person including tip? Damn fine mathematics work out there.
My favorite parts of the night were the corned beef tacos, chicken wings, and truffle goat cheese fries. Yums. The idea of a corned beef tacos isn't that farfetched I suppose, but it was a perfect bite and nicely seasoned. We also ordered birria and fish tacos, and they were also a really nice and fresh bite for just $1.50 each.
We chose traditional, Thai Sweet Chilli and sesame ginger for our wings, and all sauces were really nice. The fries were inhaled in record time, leading to our declarations of love for goat cheese, and we even managed to snag a platter of bacon cheddar tater tots to finish things up. Everything came out in a timely manner, nice and fresh and hot and ready for our drunken consumption.
Our server did spill an entire beer on our table (and cell phones... and napkins... and "quiz papers" even though we weren't playing... and my purse...) but she was REALLY apologetic about it and everything was cool. I think she felt bad that we were getting flack from other trivia-participating patrons (being told to put our cell phones away, being asked to shush when questions were being read, etc.), but we held our own. I took one look at the motley crew I'd walked in with and realized that we wouldn't win a trivia contest in Kinder Care, let alone a legit one for bragging rights and actual prizes.
A good time was generally had by all, however, and I do look forward to returning to pub quiz night and actually participating. With confidence. Without Huey, Dewey, and Louie at my table. Haha, I love those guys, but seriously??? -

First off let me tell you that the 2 stars are for 1- they accomidated my little brother and sister who aren't into the typical Irish Food, and 2- there was no wait on a Saturday night when all other restaurants were 30-45 min wait for a table.
Now to why I wasn't pleased. My father and brother came back from the men's restroom disgusted at the fact that it has not been serviced. THe bathroom was overfilled with papertowels. There was a foul smell as well as the fact that their were half empty beer glasses on the sinks. My dad came out and asked my aunt to take my brother to the women's restroom so that he could go pee.
Next i was never once asked for a refill on my drink and for half of the time we were sitting there my sister, dad, and I had empty drinks and were drinking the water from the ice that had melted in our cups.
Lastly the cost of 15$ a head is not worth it for the food they served, the garlic parmesan fries were a lump and cold in my opinion. The Corned Beef was stiff and okay but I have cooked way better. In other words the food wasn't worth it. -

First time here and I ordered catered food. Great to cater snacks of sliders and sides. Nick the chef really knows his stuff.
Off the catering menu, my guest loved the spicy potato balls and mac & cheese balls. The sausage pastry was interesting but definitely not a favorite of my group. If you come during happy hour, I personally love their crisps and how cheap the chips are too.
This location is hidden inside the same plaza with Fish house, Lazy Dog Cafe, starbucks and the movie theater. It's also right across from the back parking of Angele's Stadium where people take the metro train. Its also near Honda Center.
Again the chef was really nice. Just the food wasn't my guest's expected Irish preference. Still great snacks. -

WARNING!! The Auld Irisher has very recently changed the menu drastically. I'm not saying that this is bad, nor am I being critical of the new menu. However, they have removed nearly everything Irish from the menu! That's right, no Irish beef stew nor boxty of any kind. What kind of "Irish" restaurant does this?
I'm all for the new menu but PLEASE bring back the Irish beef stew and boxty! You don't have to serve the same burgers and sandwiches as every other cookie cutter bar/pub. -

Came here this Saturday since we were looking for something to do. Well let me tell you, this place is a pretty chill place. No cover, a wide selection of beers on tap, and live music. Cant beat that with a baseball bat...
The place itself if pretty much adorned out as any other irish pub. Service was pretty good. Bathrooms were pretty clean as well.
Crowd was kinda up there (age wise) when we first arrived, around 1030pm, and as the night progressed, it was more mixed. Older crowd being the more dominant.
This joint is located amongst a wide array of other restaurants. There was a Kings Fish House across the st, a Bobs Big Boy, and Acapulcos in sight as well. Around the corner they have a movie theater, as well as some more eateries.
Parking is self parking, and its free. Was suprised the place wasnt more packed for a Sat night.
All in all, great to go with some friends or a date. -

TERRIBLE SERVICE...or more accurate...NO SERVICE AT ALL. A group of four of us walked in on Saturday evening and seated ourselves. And the we proceeded to continue to wait for 10-15 minutes and not a SOUL in the entire place acknowledged our existence. I could understand if the place were packed and super busy, but this was not the case. The bar was only half full and we were clearly visible to the bartenders/servers. The table directly next to us was served and all of the times that all 3-4 servers walked but our table, NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM even glanced our way. After being made to feel completely invisible, we got up and left...not before I thanked one of the servers for their "service". We will NEVER go back!

Auld Irisher has so much potential, they have a great selection of draft and bottled beers. Their issue comes with the food and prices. Now I'm not saying all the food is bad its just hit or miss on what you order.
The fish and chips here for 14 bucks I feel could be better. The batter that they used just wasn't that great and I like my fish crispy and it just really didn't cut it for me. Instead of chips you can get tator tots which is what I did and the tots were good but its kinda hard to mess those up.
The spicy potatoes I thought would be great but just had nothing that stood out and I felt the potatoes could of been cooked longer. If you do come here I would suggest the Banger Won Tons these things are pretty darn good. Maybe if I come back I will try their Bangers and Champ.
For me and my wife we had a appetizer and the order of fish and chips and two beers and it about 36 bucks for us. I thought that was a little expensive. Maybe I could see coming here for a couple drinks during happy hour cause they do offer some great beers like Rouge, Boddingtons. So I may try this again but just not gonna go outta my way for it........CHEERS -

I've just started going here, and they have some of the best pub food around! Their curry fries are out of this world insane fantastic! They use a mild, sweet curry that I just can't get enough of. The sausage rolls are excellent too, as is their ale and cheddar soup. I was a bit wary of the soup, but it's quite tasty.
It can get quite busy on the weekends, so I've been sticking to going during the week when it's quieter. The waitresses have all been friendly and knowledgeable about the beers the serve.
They have a small but nice selection of beers, including my new favorite, Hoegarden, along with regulars like Guinness, Boddingtons, and Smithwicks. Oh, and they're in a proper 20oz pint glass, too! -

The bartenders keep you entertained here! Good music, cool crowd. I just tried their tater totts and fish tacos last night, it was so good. The manager there is named Andy and he makes you feel welcome every time you walk through the door...

I've been here twice: once to eat and once for St. Patrick's Day. Both times were great!
Eating: I've been obsessed with boxties ever since I had one in Ireland two years ago. I knew when I came to the Auld Irisher I HAD to get one. I chose the chicken whiskey and it tasted pretty good! I also forced my friend to share the loaded tater tots with me (tots topped with bacon&cheese)! How can you see that on a menu and not get it?
St. Patrick's Day: Even though my group got there pretty early there was still a long line. They were charging $10 for cover but everyone was super nice and it didn't take long to get in. The bar tenders and waitresses were on top of it all night and did a great job serving the rowdy, drunk crowd. We ordered some delicious Irish Car Bombs, beer, and curry fries (which were yumz).
Overall, fun place with a good crowd, good food, and good entertainment. -

I really like this place. They have a great selection of beers on tap and the food is always great tasting. Service is quick and efficient even with a large table and a crowded restaurant.
Who would have guessed to order tacos at an Irish pub?? The corned beef tacos are very flavorful. Fish tacos are decent. Street size tacos, kind of small but order 3 and that comes out to about the total amount you would get in 2 regular tacos.
Fried macaroni & cheese...I have died and gone to heaven...AMAZING!! Artery clogging, but oh so good! Share them (if you can) and then you won't feel so horrible about it later :-)
Dubliner Hot Wings-typical bar style wings, nothing fancy.
Curry Chips (fries)-the curry sauce served with them is such a great addition to basic french fries. Takes them up to the "feeling kind of fancy" level.
BBQ bacon cheeseburger-Really, really good! Juicy Patty is cooked perfectly and has a nice seasoning to it. Bun held up nicely to the juiciness of the burger. BBQ sauce was a bit too tangy, but what to expect from an Irish pub.
Corned Beef Sandwich -AMAZING! Apple Onion relish really adds a great depth of flavor. I spread a bit of Coleman's mustard on my sandwich for another "bite" to the sandwich and it made me content flavor wise. Served on grilled marble rye with swiss cheese...just YUM!
I'll be back. -

Welcome Back To The Jerk Store,
Let me start by saying I had no complaints about the food. My fish and chips were great, maybe the best I've had. What drops this down to 2 stars was the service. Our waitress was horrible. Waited 20 minutes to order and then waited another 30 minutes after we were finished till we could finally pay and get out of there. After she dropped off our food she never came back to see if we wanted more drinks.
It's really sad because the food was definitely good enough to get me to come back, but the service was probably the worst I've ever experienced so more than likely I won't be going back. -

I love the Irisher. My friends and I are here every Monday, and for good reason.
They've been doing pub trivia for a couple months now, and while it has its moments, it kind of blows. Takes away from the otherwise awesome music and whatnot, but hey, enough people like that to come back every week, so I'm just going to say it's not my thing.
The place is pretty cool from the inside/out. They have $3 draft beers and $5 imports on Monday nights, and the fries are great for when you and your buddies need some drunken munchies. Nick is hands down the greatest bartender ever. He comes out and dances with us, lip syncs to us, and collects our drunken texts over the course of the night and reads the best ones aloud. Besides, he wears a kilt. Let's be real. Jackie is an absolute doll as well, but she tends to stay behind the bar.
Overall, it's an awesome place to get with your friends, get your drink on, and have a few laughs. If you're ever there on a Monday night and hear a loud, obnoxious laugh coming from the outside patio area, it's probably me. See you there. -

This might just be my favorite Taco Tuesday place. What? Tacos at an Irish Pub??!!! Crazy, right? But you must try their tacos - there's the option of corned beef, seared ahi, crunchy fish, and mushroom. The 4 choices range from $1 to $2 each on Tuesdays only. (Regular price is around $8 - $11 for a 3 taco plate) My fave was the crunchy fish but ahi and corned beef were delicious as well. Fiance tried the mushroom, which was his favorite. Wide selection of beers and alcohol, great pub atmosphere. Doesn't get too crowded on weeknights. My new stop on Tuesday!
