Review from Tay D.
Las Vegas, NV
This place was okay asides from the loud sound from the Navel Base nearby plus the vehicles from the main road in front of the Inn. I know most folks would think this was a run down hotel but I find it interesting and unique. I came into this place late after hours and had to ring the buzzer for service since the main building door was locked for the front desk. The person that was in charge for the night pleasantly answered the call and promptly came to the open the door to help me. I uploaded some pictures I hope you find them useful. They do have wifi but make sure you ask them for the key/password or you won't be able to log into their network. I wasn't provided one and didn't want to wake up the person in charge again. I just had to use my phone for internet that night which wasn't a big deal.

This inn also has a trailer park next door to it where I stayed during my reside in Oak Harbor.
The good: they offer a really good price for a weekly stay, seeing that I'm here in Washington to work in Skajit County for a few months.
The bad: they said we don't have access to the pools, breakfast, or Internet they offer, it is for the nightly visitors only who stay at the actual inn! I felt like a step-child and was a little bummed bcz since we stay longer, shouldn't we be the ones to be taken care of? I mean, they get the most money out of us. Plus...if u pay for a trailer and decide to leave within that week (like I did) unlike a hotel/motel place, u won't get the balance back on the days u won't be there.
The ugly: ....this place is a true trailer park! Not a place for a city girl who enjoys the leisure of amenities and wifi. The place is old and creeks late at night. And it doesn't seem like they give a lot of attention to it. Although they do have an on site laundry facility which was convenient. -

From the outside this place looked okay. When I walked inside and looked around, at first it sort of creep me out. Everything was old and need to be updated. When I was getting ready for bed, as I remove the cover I found hair on the sheets! Makes me wonder if they change the sheets after each use. This was my second time or third time finding hair on my sheets in different Inns I stayed in!!
If you're a light sleeper this isn't the place for you, because there's a air force base right next to it and can be very loud. -

It looked quaint from the outside.
However, looks can be deceiving. This inn really needs to be renovated.
Old and thread bare. Musty odor. Towels and bed linens need to be replaced. Mattresses on the beds were lumpy.
Fortunately for them, there isn't much competition in Oak Harbor. Otherwise, I would think they would be out of business.
