The Raspberry Falls management team has taken over the course and performed a major facelift. Good news first...the awfully rude attitude of the previous staff is gone. Also, the new greens are in great shape. Bad news is the fairways still need a lot of maturing and are quite thin throughout the course. Once the fairways mature the course should return to its former place as one of the better courses in the area.

Augustine is a great golf venue -- some of the best holes in the great DC area -- hole is is the quintessential risk/reward hole -- or perhaps just more risk than anything else -- a real difficult hole that takes skill and a little luck. Hole 2 might be the signature hole, but it's the back 9 that really shines -- not a bad hole on the entire back nine -- and it's a beautiful course.

This course used to be nice, but it really stinks now. I think new owners took over and they have let it go to pot. Never seen so many tee boxes without turf on them :-(
