AWESOME casino. Small compared to the other "big guys" in the area.  Though much smaller, this is THE place to be for a good time AND ACTUALLY winning a little cash. They even offer hourly drawings to 5 guests at a time of 100.00 each from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday's. THAT, is a lot of winners!

ALL the newer machines are here, the employees are are ALL very nice (Security Guard opens the front door for EVERY single guest!), NOT overly crowded, clean, air works VERY good son you are NOT suffoctaed by smokers and PLENTY of parking.

There is a small grill at one corner of the casino which offers some VERY tasty food (FRIES are AWESOME!!!). I ahd NO idea there was a buffet until I read the other reviews.

Restrooms are clean, carpeting is clean and machines are clean.

HIGHLY recommend this casino. You WILL have fun!

    Yes, I am fan.

Food is good. The best in the Valley (Casino-wise).
Think about it people... Why would you need a big casino?  A bigger casino is more people, more machines and more walking around when you actually need just one or two slot machine.
Augustine is small, clean and both staff and A.I. are friendly. I mean, they let you win, no big, but enough for you to say "it was a fair game".
Oh, and all those wednesdays giveaways and promotions. Yeah! Why not?

I am going tonite and hangout with all the BabyBoomers!

And that is how the cookie crummmmmblessss

The machines here were LOTS friendlier than what I've experienced at the Agua Caliente lately. I know I'm going to lose my money eventually, but please at least let me play a little bit first!

The facility is fairly clean, and the staff was friendly. $4 for a bottle of Tecate is too much to pay anywhere, but especially a casino. Lower the price of drinks to the same as Red Earth ($3, regardless of what you order), and I'll come back more often.

We went to this casino a few years ago before their remodel and it has improve a ton!  Larger casino area and much larger than before.  Still does not seem as big as the other four Palm Springs casinos, but still had a few of the newer machine that the rest of them had, just not as many.   Sign up for their players card and receive a small incentive of $5 to gamble and $5 off any food including the buffet.  We went on a Monday and the place was fairly slow and had nobody trouble finding fun machines to play.   We particularly had fun with the Monopoly game, which is 4 people are playing at once, make the group bonuses very fun!

I was very intrigued by all the stellar buffet reviews so had to check it out.  First, you should know, I'm a picky eater.  Second, seafood isn't my favorite either and Monday was a seafood buffet with Prime Rib.   It's not as large a buffet as other casinos and didn't offer the variety that other have, unless you like seafood, then it was great.  They don't have pizza (a standard even at Asian Buffet's!) or a large Mexican food area.  They do have a meat/cheese/sandwich bar which is nice if you have kids who want something simple.  We got there right as it opened at 5pm so everything looked great.   Excellent selection of desserts and a special section of 'sugar free' ones.

I had the prime rib, which was tasty enough.  I was surprised to not see any rolls until I saw some at another table.  You need to ask your server for some and they were excellent!  Hot out of the oven.  I wish I had asked for some earlier.

The best part about the buffet on a Monday though is the price!  $10.95 w/a players card!  You CANNOT beat that anywhere!  For 2, minus the $5.00 coupon for joining the players club, it was under $20.   The best part was,  I gave her a $20, got $3 back in change, went to the slot machine right outside the restaurant, doubled my money to $6 in about 5 minutes, hence, reducing my buffet price to about $6/per person.   (Don't you love how we all justify gambling?!?)

Another side note, while driving there on the back roads, I saw several gas stations @ 3.65/gallon.  The cheapest I saw in the area.  When returning to Indio, it jumped back to $3.96 real fast!

Just returned yesterday from an outing to Augustine Casino.  Finally their prime rib was more tender... and cooked nice and rare too.  Monday seems to be a particularly good day for their buffet.  $7.95 with players card includes a thick cut of New York steak, prime rib ( about 12 oz) ravioli with lobster sauce, large coconut shrimps, and their traditional caesar salad with shrimp.. and I asked a manager there to label the salad dressings which she agreed enthusiastically to do.

BTW the Augustine is supposed to have a 99% plus pay out on video poker... but only on 25cents and greater machines.

This plain boring box of a casino needs some major work.  Upon arrival, I found the security staff to be pretty anal as I was carded numerous times.  I was even asked what I was doing with my cell while taking a break outside... to which I replied, "Uuuuhhh.  Text messaging and checking the internet." The security guard then nodded, looking mightily confused and puzzled as if he did not know phones had text messaging and internet nowadays.

The small casino is full of mostly slots and just a handful of table games.  I just played some leisurely penny slots and $3 blackjack.  Funny there's a non-smoking section, but the place is like one big unsectioned room.

The $15 buffet ($5 off if you sign up for the players card) was a bit scary with watery king crab and questionable smoked salmon and other seafood.  The ribs and meatloaf were decent.  The waitress lady was exceptionally nice and helpful, which is the highlight...sad.

I'd probably never venture out here again unless it was to spend time with my folks who are crazy penny slot recreational junkies.  It's fun cheering them on for a couple cents.  Hahaha.

I only come here for the buffet which I think is probably one of the better ones for casinos here in the valley... I don't really gamble so I can't really comment on that so back to the food... The entrees were all pretty fresh and generally decent... Probably the only reason this place gets a rating of 3 stars from me is because of a dessert I had here and will continue to go back for everytime.

I figure even if its worth it to only pay $15 to have some of the seafood, maybe some prime rib and finally, the best for last, the cinnamon baked apple!  It's in the dessert case and you have to ask someone working there to give it to you but I believe it's one of the best desserts I've had at a buffet anywhere...

I have gone to this place with my buddies and spent about an hour here, pacing myself and tasting pretty much everything there at least once, twice if its good, and enjoying the refills of whatever beverage you like which is included with the price of the buffet... I think it is open 24 hours a day but am not 100% since I don't like to go that far into Coachella that late at night... this place is out of the way and may be hard to find if you're not familiar with the area... The previous poster commented on the security being kind of annoying which I think it actually a good thing considering the area this casino is in.

I've also had some of the tacos and ceviche tostadas at the small cafe right by one of the entrances and will say they are great deals if you're trying to eat cheap...

I've also sat at the bar once and gotten pretty buzzed for cheap... I recommend the chavelas... They have a good deal on mimosas on Sunday mornings too...

We had the lunch buffet here.  A wide selection of original freshly made Mexican food plus prime rib, bbq, etc.  I focused on the Mexican food.   Everything I tried was very good quality.  I would definitely eat here again.     There is enough variety to please almost any appetite.

BEST Buffet out of 4 other casinos in the area. I have had a positive experience with security. Always polite and helpful. However the staff on the floor has not been so nice. I hesitate if I need anything too call them as they have a pretty bad attitude. I cant figure that  out because everyone else is OK.  I like the layout of the casino but cant stay in there long.  They use a weird air freshener and it smells really bad. Better than smoke but wow they need a new scent,
