OK, so after moving into my new place I wanted to finally get the big-screen TV I have always dreamed of. I was looking at 50" or more and of course I wanted a great surround-sound system to go with it.
Problem; I have absolutely no idea what the difference is between an LCD TV or a Plasma, I don't know which brand is rated the best, and I certainly don't know how to set it up. I can barely get my darn email to work most of the time.
I was on my way to one of the 'big-box' stores but, to be honest, the last time I went there didn't seem to be a single person that knew what the heck they were talking about. So I went to AudioVideoKing on Wilcox Ave. since they are near my place. I had heard about them from a friend who was really happy with his new set-up. (I actually was pretty jealous, truth be told.)
The first thing that impressed me was the service. Friendly people greeted my wife and me right away and asked if we needed help. Not pushy, just eager and they actually knew what they were talking about.
We ended up buying a great system based on their recommendations. Next step; get the whole thing set up back home.
Zhik & Zavi arrived a few days later and let me tell you they were great. Super nice and honest-to-goodness experts, they set everything up for us in no time, including hanging the TV in the den just where we wanted it and placing the speakers and sub-woofer perfectly.
We're so happy that we went to these guys! Fast service, prices that compare to the big box store, and people who not only are eager to help but know what they're doing! Amazing! I recommend them highly to anyone who wants a great home entertainment system and great service. -

Called to arrange a time for a tv mounting. I was quotes 160 for the install and an additional 90 for the mount hardware. after hanging up, I decided to check out their site. On the site, I see the same mounting hardware with a price listed at 40. I called back to inquire why I was being quoted more than double the price their site has listed. He hemmed and hawed, chalking it up to some excuse about the site being outdated. Then was told to take my job elsewhere. Rude and shady.

I had it all planned out that I was going to surprise my Husband with a new LED TV and Installation. I knew it was going to be hard to get this all done around the holidays and get someone dependable to do the install. I called this place and they said they would do a next day Installation. I couldn't believe it, I was really going to pull this surprise off. I want to thank the guys that installed the TV ZHIK & Tony. My Husband loved his Christmas surprise. And he really loved that he didn't have to do anything but hit the Power button. Great work! I would recommend audiovideoking!!!!

Very quick and easy.
Called in the afternoon and they came out the following afternoon. Price was settled up front. The techs did a pretty terrific job and were done in no time; they seemed like good guys, and were very easy to talk to and work with. They even offered to swing back by and do some other touch ups with wiring.
Nice experience overall.
Note: if you call the number on their website and someone just answers but gives no indication that they're with a company, or that you've called the right place, you may have still called the right place. I thought I had the wrong number, and when I said so, the guy asked if I was looking for home theater work. It was weird, but worked out. -

Awesome service!! Got my home theater system installed by these people, couldn't be more pleased by the level of professionalism and quality of work performed in my house. Eric was great and was very patient to answer all my questions. Price was very reasonable for the quality of work they performed. Will definitely use them again.

I only reserve 5-stars for the truly exceptional and AudioVideoKing (AVK) is one of them! I called another top Yelp installer to inquire about having them help mount my new flatscreen above the fireplace, to which they said they wouldn't recommend it due to structural uncertainties, without even looking at it! That's when AVK stepped in and closed the deal for me. They came, they got the job done, and they cleaned up without any trace of drilling or debris. Thanks AVK, you really are the King when it comes to installations!!!

Got my 55" TV Installed by them...Eric and Tony did a excellent job. They were very patient and professional. They programmed my remote to the other components I had and made it very simple for me to operate everything. I am very pleased with there service and professionalism.
