Pretty bomb place for streetwear.
They carry some awesome brands that you dont see at other store. They also have some nice dry selvage denim.
Sneakerheads will feel like a kid in a candy store here. -

If you are looking for:
-Crooks and Castles.... Attic has it!
-The Hundreds..... Attic has it!
-10deep.... Attic has it!
-Alife.... Attic has it!
-Foreign Family... Attic has it!
-Obey... Attic has it!
-The freshest kicks around... Check! Everything from Nike to Supras.
They also have a (very limited) section for us girls:
-Kid Robot
-Obey
-Acrylick
Just to name a few. Prices are not cheap for these t-shirt. You are going to be spending around 29.00 and up for it.
With that being said, I have been shopping here on and off every since they have opened. Customer service was great (namely because I made friends with a lot of the old employee's). I kind of got out of the game with this urban couture and went back to my more girly ways. Since I was in the area with my bestie Marcus H, we decided to stop by and check them out.
Walked in we were greeted. Check
Wow, this store has a lot more clothes and shoes... For men...
What the heck where are all the women clothing??!! (It was a small section in the back of the store.. FAIL)
I had to ask one of the sales guys a question (now let me tell you, even though I am not in the game that much anymore, I still keep up on what is new and what isn't) So I asked the sales guy about a 2 yr old t-shirt that I have been madly in love with, if they carry it in store. They offer it on their web site (but I am not paying shipping when this place is urber close to where I live). This dude had a major attitude and acted like I was bugging him, he must have had a heart because he looked it up in the system and said they only had a XL at the store. But the SD store had my size and offered to call to see if they can send it to the BP store. Which I said please. He called and WAM, BAM, THANK YOU MAM it was ordered and will be in store by the middle of next week!
I think from now on I will be driving to LA to buy direct from the store instead of coming back to the Attic. Le sigh! -

This place has a really large collection of shoes, clothes, and caps. They also have outerwear and accessories like backpacks. It's a pretty nice store to explore and just being inside just catches your attention to each sections.
As for customer service, they do what they can, and they greet you while stocking up and organizing clothes. If you're lucky, clothes will be $15 a shirt depending on your brand, but then again be weary when it comes to sales and events such as Black Friday and Back to School.
Keep up-to-date on their facebook and twitter to know what's up, they're pretty serious when it comes to customer satisfaction.
I'm broke because I go here to get my clothes. -

I used to work at a streetwear boutique couple years back so I do have an idea of what it takes to manage one. Even though the Attic is a pretty locally known spot with some pretty solid accounts (ALIFE, UNDFTD, Jordan Brand, etc.) they have some of the most garbage customer service I've ever experienced.
How is it possible to have 4 staff members working and for them to not even say anything as soon as I walk through the door. 15mins into my shopping experience, I get asked if I have any questions.. why am I gonna ask you questions when you can't take 3 seconds outta your time chillin' behind the cashier's table textin' your hypebeasty friends about the latest picture of Kanye at Coachella to get the fit details to what he was wearing to even give me a head nod, you asian boy.
I 'preciate the Attic and their place in sneaker culture, but if yall don't wanna hurt your rep, y'all should hire people who are actually qualified to work and service your customers. Not some asians with pencil sized side burns to go along with their Sinead O'Connor hairstyles with beanies styled to look like it's about to fall off their heads. garbage yo. -

heard so much about this place, and finally asked the bf to take me (i suck at directions and didnt want to get lost)
got into the parking, so excited to explore. stepped inside to an empty store, we were the only customers and there were about 3-4 guys working. NOT ONE SINGLE "HI HOW ARE YOU". they glanced at us to see who just came in and went back to their conversation, rude much? whatever they were talking about better be damn exciting enough for them to ignore us. there goes my experience, didnt even bother to look at anything else besides the shoes, bkus bf was looking and i had to wait for him. oh yeah, we stood at the shoes section for a good 15 mins and no one bothered to swing by and ask if we needed help. THANKS GUYS, WHAT AWESOME SERVICE. BYE BYE ATTIC. -

I'm stuck between rating as 3 or as a 5, so I figured 4's the best choice.
BF & I used to go here a lot. Back in the day, before we were fat, lol. But we still head here every now & then, and it's still the same vibe, and we're happy.
Good variety, definitely not like an online store variety, but good enough that if you just cashed your check at Chase, hop on over here for some treats. Kicks are always a must for me here, I don't think I've ever left here without buying a pair. Seriously.
The deals they used to have were pretty awesome, I haven't seen them repeat too many of those lately, but I'm sure they will. We've camped out here a time or two. Thought they'd treat us a little better for that (some places give out water and stuff) but well, maybe it was just our luck. But the deals, again, are ridiculously awesome.
Tried doing a BF run here last year, but there were too many people by the time we got down with our turkey, so maybe this year.
Definitely agree with some of the other reviews that this is not one of those uppity stores that make you feel like you're too good for anything in there. C&C does it all the time, and it's such a shame. Stores like these are supposed to be stores of/for the people, not to showcase how much better/cooler they are.
But I digress. It's worth the little drive down here, and we always end up doing fun stuff like a random Knotts trip or finding a local eatery, so it's always a fun time. Decent pricing, even better when they have sales.
Definitely try this place out. And then get some funnel cake. Win-Win. -
Review from Julie D.
This store is much bigger than the one located in downtown SD, but I'm not sure if they're the same owners.
This location is right across Knotts Berry Farm so you can't miss it, but going there on a early Sunday evening you would think people may have missed it. There was no one in there. =t
They have a lot of shoes to choose from, hats, shirts and even Japanese snacks which I thought was cool! Brands ranging from Stussy to Kid Robot and much more!
We came here specifically looking for "The Hundreds" brand and we found it!
For all the shoe/shirt freaks out there, you should definitely check this place out if you haven't already! I probably was the last person to know about it! =p -

First visit: yesterday.
Reason: mission for strapped Nikes.
Outcome: skunked.
While the Attic carries a good selection of throwback and newer sneakers, don't come here expecting to find those elusive exclusives. If I were a fan of laces, I'd give this place another star. I'd also consider adding an extra star if I were able to play some 2K10.

i love the attic! -- a good selection of kicks & clothes for girls! street wear is hard to come by when youre a girl, but the attic keeps me steezin'! :]
also, if i ever have to shop for a guy, this is my first stop. ohh & the sales here are really good-- like 50% off. not too shabby!
& here i thought that knotts berry farm was the only thing to see in buena park! -

Attic - Thank you for NOT following suit in this "treat the customer like shit" attitude that most urban/street wear stores adhere to.
I've shopped here probably a dozen times or so and these guys are always polite and engaging, I mean, my pop was visiting from Detroit and they even chatted with him... and he's old! Not to mention your selection is second to none around these parts.
I'll keep it short, just keep doin what your doin Attic, I'll be back soon.
Peace. -
Review from Aaron-Ross J.
Arcadia, CA
This place is much better than my attic. All I have up in my attic is a bunch of old boxes of tamogotchies, beanie babies, and micro machines. If I had more money I'd definitely be down to drop some major coinage here, but it's a good thing I'm relatively broke. Well not good for their business, and actually not good for me either. I'm not really sure who its good for.
They have a pretty sick selection of kicks and urban gear, but I'm more of a denim junkie myself. Get your Japanese raw denim here. If you don't know what raw denim is, get up on it. Once you learn what it is, come to the Attic, cause they'll hook you up.
I also got up in that NBA 2K11 tournament they got going here a few weeks ago. I got knocked out in the second round by John Wall and the Wizards, but its all good. It was all good fun. Rack up some gameplay and maybe come through and bust out your skillset and ISO motion. -
Review from Alden L.
Costa Mesa, CA
This store has been around since November of 2006 and there's a reason why it's survived this horrible recession we've been in. Wide selection of shoes and clothes alike, and the prices are very reasonable. Unlike some of the shoe stores out there that are notorious for marking up Nike's already ridiculous box price, this shop stay true to the msrp. This is very helpful when you're in the hobby of collecting/buying shoes.
The first impression I had the first time I walked in here was "Holy Sh*t! this is a boutique?" easily 4 times larger than those specialty shops you can find on Melrose, this is a great alternative to driving all the way to LA for cool clothes. The main clothing that is sold here are the "streetwear" brands, which are starting to become more and more mainstream, but there's always limited pieces that are sought after and sold out in just minutes. While the prices aren't dirt cheap, they are fair considering the market price of some of these tees. (MSRP on some shirts are $50 and when you see a price tag under that, I consider it a steal).
As far as shoes, no one can compare to their wide selection. They carry almost every brand that is popular and some that are on the rise. You need chucks and Vans? they got em. Jordans? yup. Nikes? heck yea! The only thing that sucks is that they do not carry Nike's Skateboarding line and from what I've heard, they might never be able to due to a skateshop right across the street. This is also the most fair place when it comes to releases, I mean the raffle thing is silly, but it keeps the kids from spending the night camping out in the questionable hood known as Buena Park.
I've spent a great amount of time shopping at this place and one of the reasons why is the great customer service. Most boutiques have snobby employees that are too cool to greet the customer and act as if you're bothering them when you ask a question, but not this place. The people here are gerally upbeat and helpful people. Even in the midst of one of their crazy sales, they still try their best to give top notch customer service. One thing to gripe about is the music selection. I can't remember the last time I didn't hear Drake playing on their radio, but to their defense, they knew about Drizzy before he became a huge star. Sometimes they play some emo r&b pop crap, but I heard it's usually when the short guy with the backwards cap is running the show.
If you're into the culture of sneakers and streetwear fashion this is the spot for you. If you rock a mohawk with a tail and you're of asian descent, this is definitely for you. Great products, even better people at the helm. It saves the people of OC a great deal of driving as it is THE One stop shop for all your fashion needs. Well, everybody's entitiled to their own opinion and this is mine. -

The Gap can only get you so far in life. The Gap is fine if you live your entire life inside a Starbucks. But come to my neck of the hood and you're likely to get pimp slapped. Cuz you know, I stay steady creepin' the streets.
If you want to follow suit, step 1 is that you need to stop wearin' your Osh Kosh B'Gosh overalls and those Payless Pro Wings with velcro straps.
Step 2 is to get done up proper at ATTIC. Get yourself some decent start denim like Nudies. Then a solid pair of "kicks".
Now you're on your way to becoming street certified.
Dress and look like you got a pulse. -
Review from Marc L.
For sneakerheads and hypebeasts, Attic is MECCA! Not only has this trendy boutique been featured on local television newscasts, music videos, and MTV's America's Best Dance Crew, but it's an INTERNATIONALLY KNOWN purveyor of some of the most exclusive kicks and streetwear IN THE WORLD!
As someone who lives in South Central OC (in between Newport Beach and Anaheim), it's been years since I've gone to Buena Park- a city you'd find yourself in only if you were going to Knott's Berry Farm or Medieval Times. The store itself occupies a building that used to be a bank... In fact, I had no idea they converted the space until watching an LXTV segment about Attic three years ago!
I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a pair of Air Yeezys (http://www.complex.com...), the highly-anticipated sneaker collaboration between Nike and Kanye West, from Attic. These shoes were as hyped as they come, and since each of the three colorways was limited to only 3000 pairs WORLDWIDE, many boutiques were selling them way above MSRP... From a $215 box price, the Yeezys were going as high as $350 to $500 in stores on release day, and were reaching up to a thousand dollars on eBay!
On top of that, some people were camping out for UP TO A WEEK to reserve their pair... ALL FOR SOME SNEAKERS!
Attic showed how legit and professional they were by doing a raffle for each shipment of Yeezys they received- selling the sneakers at BOX PRICE! Instead of ripping off customers, or even allowing their employees to get dibs on the sneakers first, they raffled each of the 18-20 pairs they got from Nike FAIR AND SQUARE... even their employees had to participate in the raffle!
That kind of integrity is hard to find- especially when it comes to a product that had taken a life of its own!
Aside from that, many Yelpers have already testified to the depth and breadth of their selection, the creativity and convenience of the store layout, as well as the easy-going and friendly nature of their staff. Attic (like Avenue aka The Store in Fountain Valley) is DEFINITELY the spot to hit up when you're looking for some hot sneakers or the freshest streetwear!
At the end of the day, there are plenty of stores that sell sneakers and streetwear all over LA, but NO ONE in Southern California does it BIGGER and more professionally than The Attic! -

I wouldn't consider Attic a "boutique" at all. but this ain't your typical attic either. No there are no cobwebs, no musty smell, and no it ain't dark. You're definitely not going see boxes of crap from my sister who is a total packrat still sitting in my parent's attic. If I lived in the OC, I certainly wouldn't mind sleeping in this attic though. Does that even make sense?
They are great to deal with for phone orders for those specific pieces getting major heat. They always have specials and promotions. John and the crew are good peoples.Listed in: Sneaker:Culture:Gear

this is the go to place if you are into sneakers and streetwear. they carry nikes, ice creams...if its hip, new and limited edition - they have it. FINALLY a decent store in the OC thats not stuck inside a mall or the craziness of melrose avenue!
the inside is spiffy. they have a conveyor belt with shoes, huge screens and you can even see yourself trying on shoes on the screens!
they carry upper playground, mighty healthy gear too to name a few as well as shirts/hoodies by graffiti artist slick. check out their clearance section - they keep it fresh and new.
i added their myspace link so you could see what's new and what's coming as well as in-store pictures - check out their blog too!Listed in: the real orange county

Review from Loren John B.
Union City, CA
This place is easily the biggest urban boutique/sneaker store I've been to. I went here once a couple years ago to check their stuff out, and this place had a whole lot of clothing, accessories, and shoes. I even like the conveyor belt in the middle of the store showcasing some rare sneakers, mostly older Jordans.
Brands they carry (off the top of my head): Nike, Jordan, Nike SB, Vans, Creative Recreation, Stussy, Crooks and Castles, Rogue Status, The Hundreds, etc. etc. They have pretty much almost anything you expect at a typical boutique. They have some decent stuff on sale too.
I went here a couple hours before opening to cop a pair of Jordans and I waited at the door facing the street. A couple other guys fell in line after me, and they told me that people wait on that side because the store opens that side when it comes to new releases. Before opening, one of the employees came up to us and said the line was forming in the entrance at the rear of the store, where customers normally come in. I was gonna be upset if I didn't get my pair just because I waited on the wrong side, but luckily the staff asked what time each person waited. fortunately, since the shoes everyone was after was considered a limited release, everyone wanted a different size in a different colorway. So it all worked out that everyone got a pair. Good thing the staff asked for everyone to be honest about how long each person had been waiting.
Staff here is really nice and helpful. If you sign up for the mailing list, you can get text messages and e-mails on special offers and exclusive releases. Service is awesome, just like Proper in Long Beach. I definitely recommend shopping at this place.Listed in: For Hypebeasts and Such

Big selection of Crooks & Castles and The Hundreds. Made my xmas shopping a lot easier.
They have the newest selections which is nice too!
Only thing is that the sales people look like regular customers. I have no clue about this urban street wear and didn't want to offend an actual customer asking them to help me. I had to wait to see who was going to the back to get shoes to figure out who was a worker and who wasn't. =P
Avg $30something t-shirts. =) Glad I didn't have to drive to Melrose/Hollywood. WHEE! -

Well, my boyfriend and I were pretty much stranded in Anahiem because of Disneyland in addition we LACKED A CAR since our parents wanted us to FLY INSTEAD OF DRIVE.
Anyways, we were in our shuttle and we saw the store called,"The Attic" we looked at one another and said,"Okay we HAVE to go there before we leave So*Cal"..
We ended up walking to The Attic and we didn't know what time they opened (I knew I should have brought my laptop, but... with airport security nowadays, I don't want to hold up a line). Anyways, we arrived at the store a good half hour early and like tourists we sat and walked around unfamiliar territory..
As soon as the doors opened we were in awe, I felt like a chubby kid in a candy store (I know horrible analogy, but I'm chubby so I can say it). The shoes... The clothes.. I could've maxed out my CC, but I had to hold back. It's really chill and I love the atmosphere they had in the store.
All I know.. when I go back to So*Cal, I'll be sure to go there again. -

I know, I know I should give 5 stars right...
Well here's why I didn't (a miniscule reason but we'll get into that shortly).
The Attic is another sneakershop boutique/urban apparel shop for the street connoisseur like myself. Self named brands like Nike (for the Jordans), Adidas, Puma, and many other shoe brands are available too your hypebeast tastes. On top of that if graphic tees, are more your thing than definitely check out the offerings of some of the quality brands they have: Temple Effectives, The Hundreds, Kid Robot, Acrilyck (might have mispelled) and much more.
On the way over here, maybe I was being careless but I missed the store...twice, so make sure to pay attention to the road (when approaching Knott's Berry Farm). Another place that's also in close proximity is Sagan if you want to chow down on some grub (before or after checking this place out or Knott's).
The shirt I bought ironically enough came from the shop with the screen print of the message: "Drop beats and not bombs." Political Activism with a fashion statement of Hip Hop Awareness, for the win. It cost me about $20.00 I believe plus tax and tip. This kind of apparel may not appeal to everyone, but it certainly has its roots with the kind of hip hop culture that I've been involved in for quite sometime.
Big ups, to being one of the few stores who manage to put this kind of stuff out here in O.C. (without having to trek to LA or Hollywood, and what not). Ironically enough the original shirt, I wanted to purchase was out of stock thus, left me a bitter taste in my mouth. Not only that but if you were slightly cheaper (then again it's probably me being a cheapskate). Overall, I like what you guys have done with the place perhaps have some kind of showcase of MCs or DJs in the shop every once in a while.
Or, maybe even have a sneaker showcase exhibit or releasing (I don't know, just throwing ideas out there). At least I know when another sale is coming about considering, I'm on the mailing list and the lookout for a good deal if another t-shirt or pair of shoes catches my eye. -

LOVE IT!
Large selection, carries the brands i like and some other ones if i think of venturing out. There are times when they dont have the size kicks i like but if kicks were readily available like that, then it wouldnt be as "exclusive" as it is. Supply / illness vs. demand homie.
I use to live in Anaheim and The Attic was in the next city over. I live in S, OC now and am =(
Every time i'm in the area i stop by.. Though i'm originally from SD... This Attic beats the one in SD.... sorry, i speaks the truth. -

FINALLY a place in orange county that sells LEGIT urban clothing.
ATTIC has a large selection of urban/street clothing including kidrobot, franco shade, MOB, and my favorite ACRYLICK :] So many t-shirts to choose from its hard just to choose one. If you're a big sneaker person you'll love this place also. Attic will stock the newest and latest. They probably even have stuff you've never even heard of. The staff at ATTIC is friendly and knowledgeable. If you need help don't be afraid to ask.
Prices may seem kind of high but its not a big difference compared to metropark or other stores you'll find at your local mall. If you plan on buying a new wardrobe be prepared to spend a couple $$$. If you're trying to shop on a budget check out their website. If you're an ATTIC VIP they'll offer special sales and promotions so be sure to sign up. -

This place is the definition of me. I walk in and I feel right at home. If your into the whole rogue status Kid Robot etc. This place is awesome it has a nice vibe to it the people are very helpful and they have some awesome promos. They have a nice selection of shoes. The only negative I have about this place is the price. I mean 60 dollars for a shirt come on now i'm not that rich lol.
Pros:
-Great Selection
-Nice vibe to it iono might jus be me
Cons:
-Crap cost a bit much
-The shirts are all folded so if you wanna look at em you have to unfold em look at it and fold it back. Of coarse your fold wont be as good as theirs so you fuck up there zone ahaha (wal-mart folks know what I mean) -

THE ATTIC - HOME OF THE HYPEBEASTS !!
I'm not gonna lie. The Attic is the best thing to ever happen in streetwear in Orange County. Located right across the street from Knott's Berry Farm in a warehouse previously owned by the Crystal Factory, the Attic attracts lots of teenagers/young adults and many pedestrians. If you're looking for Hollister/American Eagle/Abercrombie, you're in the wrong store.
The Attic has many sales during Black Friday and during the summer where lines could wrap around the 4 sides of the building.
The staff is very friendly, and is more than willing to help you with anything. Plus, they got some cute asian girls working there while I was shopping during one of their big sales.
-Minus 1 star for one of the employees for fucking up my mailing address for one of my online orders. :( -
Review from Amy G.
Anaheim, CA
This store is one of those trendy hip/hop "we're not mainstream" type of joints. If there's one good thing I could say about my visit...they have a giant selection of trendy men's tennis shoes.
The clothing consists of poppy-animae, unisex like t-shirts and over priced jeans. Nothing attractive or girly whatsoever. But if that is your cup of tea, by all means check it out.
The staff were a bit complacent. Talking and joking amongst themselves behind the register. No one really seemed to be doing much work, and no body seemed to offer me any help while I perused the racks. Not that I really cared, I hate when sales people bother me. Maybe I was more annoyed that they were having so much fun ignoring me...
Anyway, I was not impressed. Over priced, over decorated, too many shoes. No thanks. -

nice large selection of shoessss.
decent selection of apparel here, but women's apparel is lacking just a tad. their prices are a tad high in my opinion for some of the shoes i already have at home or bought elsewhere, but still pretty reasonably priced.
they have an entire wall of nikes too if you're into that sorta thing. me, no so much, i like the others, which they have a nice selection of too. -

So. LEGIT.
When my boyfriend and I went to Knott's Berry Farm for our anniversary, the first thing we were trying to look for was Attic. Little did we know it was right across the street, lol.
This place is enormous in comparison to its San Diego location! I was overwhelmed by the amount of merchandise they had displayed. They even had a little conveyor belt display with shoes!
We actually caught them during one of their big sales. Everything was organized for the most part. Service could've been a bit better; I kind of felt intimidated when I walked in and browsed around.
The only time I really felt welcome was when I went to go pay. The boyfriend ended up chatting it up with the guy at the register, telling him that we were originally from San Diego. He was really happy to see people make the trek up here since this location is their flagship store. Good stuff. -

This is where I mainly shop and it has never disappointed. I never leave here empty handed. No matter if its shoes, tees, jackets or sweaters I have to get something every time I come so i try not to come to often even though I want to. There is a wide selection of every urban brand imaginable. The staff if pretty helpful and don't make you feel like you are unworthy of being in the store like some stores on Melrose do. This place is a guys place but they do have a small section for the ladies (now you ladies know how guys feel when we have to walk into a store and have little selection!) I come here at least once a month and I always leave happy.

With brands such as Kidrobot, Alife, and Crooks and Castle all having stores in LA, sometimes it's hard to go to all 3. But The Attic can be a place for someone who wants everything under one roof (There's a but though. Please read everything below).
I have known about this store for the past 3 years. When I first started to come here, the service was great. I was shocked when a certain employee remembered me because I had a certain infatuation with Kidrobot. The products they carry at the store, are pretty much the same items as the ones at the LA specialty Stores/Boutiques. They also, I believe, have a Tier 1 Nike account, so they will carry almost all the limited releases (Undefeated might be the only retailer to carry every limited release shoe in So Cal).
After the first year, I realized the store changed. They still carry great products, but the customer service started to go downhill. To me it seems like they are starting to act like workers at a South Coast Plaza store, will not approach you unless they think you are about to drop a lot of cash. Some, not all employees gossip amongst each other and have customers wait until they finish their conversation. The shaved head manager, is useless. The only reason why I say that is because he seems like he has no interest in helping out a customer. Yes his job is to manage, but he can help out instead of just ignoring customers while on the floor.
All in all I would say this store is okay. They carry a lot of brands and it's actually a good selection. Also the sales they have is pretty crazy and people will line up hours just to get a piece. I just hope the customer service improves. I hope it does so I can give them a better rating. -

Attic has TONS of urban clothing and shoes for MEN and a limited selection for women. As a female, I still liked their clothing & shoes, but my best friend, who is a guy, felt like he was in HEAVEN.
The workers are pretty cool...they're just seem like they're always watching/following you when you move from every section of the store, which kind of made me feel uncomfortable. Other than that, it's a pretty chill spot.
