I spent the past weekend at the Atlantis Inn, and I feel it was a very good pick. The inn is located on the mainstreet that leads to the beach, just two blocks away, which is perfect! We just left our car in the parking lot, and walked to down to the beach - no hassle of trying to find a parking spot or feeding the meters every two hours.
The rooms are bright and clean, and the beds are amazingly comfortable. We had a compact fridge and microwave in our room, which was great for keeping our water chilled before beach trips. Every time we interacted with the front desk staff, they were very friendly and helpful. There's an outside pool on the roof, but I didn't check it out, so I can't comment. The only "downside" was the TV was rather small and old-school (big and bulky, not a flat-screen), but this was absolutely not a problem. We came for the beach, and didn't touch the TV remote once!
The cost of staying here is a bit pricey, but that's expected given it's the On Season, as well as the prime location on the main street, and being so close to the beach.
I'd definitely come back!

History
Established in 2005
The hotel has been a Rehoboth Beach landmark for nearly 30 years. Over this time, the property has served as home to the Commodore Motel, the Atlantic Budget Inn and since 2005, the Atlantis Inn.
Beginning in 2004 and through 2007, the Atlantis Inn undertook and entire property renovation, remodeling all 94 rooms, lobby and pool/deck areas. During this time, the hotel also installed it's wireless high speed internet access. Each year, the hotel adds additional amenities or remodels other areas where the guest experience is impacted. In 2009, the Atlantis Inn replaced all mattresses and is currently looking at moving away from the traditional comforter bedding, to a duvet and triple-sheet bedding program. More to come as we find the most comfortable alternative for our guests!
In June 2009, the Atlantis Inn Rehoboth Beach hotel welcomed aboard a new general manager, Penny Davis.
