Having received a gift certificate to here and being in the area for lunch today we stopped here.

The staff was great, as was the food.

The tvs were definitely overwhelming and a bit too loud for a Saturday afternoon but there was a large crowd for the Michigan game so I can't fault them for wanting to play on that part of the clientèle.  I just hope this is not always the case.

The price can't be beat, even without our gift cert we still would have been pleased with what we paid for our meal.

Weren't able to try the beer selection but is a reason for me to go back.

A quality sports pub on the harbor with a nice roof deck. I can see the attraction.

It took me 30 minutes to order a beer. First because the bar staff failed to notice my yells and wild hand gestures, then because the waitress at our table (we moved to a table) wasn't attentive enough.

$6 for a Harpoon when the brewery is a few blocks away, no thanks.

Thursday night, 80% meathead guys FTL.

I wont detract from the team-shirt clad waitstaff because its a sports bar, but it wasn't very interesting either.

The location is great, right on the waterfront with good harbor views and lots of easy parking, highway access. I guess its not quite public-transportation friendly unless you take a bus.

Its good for accommodating large groups.

I would go back when the weathers nice and you can enjoy the roof deck and outdoors, or to catch a game when I'm in that area. Otherwise I couldn't see the trip there.

Grabbed a quick drink here while waiting for our Harpoon tour.  The layout is a bit difficult to navigate if you have any sort of issue with stairs, but the main level was really nice.  The decor is pretty basic, but with the backdrop of the harbor, the floor to ceiling glass was a great touch.

The beer selection is pretty decent - you can find quite a few random brews on tap & the bartenders are attentive enough to keep you topped off.  All in all, not a destination place, but an alright stop over.

I've been here a few times now for drinks after work, and always have a good time. come here for the location overlooking the harbor, the roof deck and the lively atmosphere- not for fine dining. food is pretty average and not particularly interesting or well done.  the roof deck is definitely a huge draw with incredible views of the city and the water.
its close to the ICA so if you're looking burn some of those brain cells you just stimulated looking at modern art this is the place to go.

I hadn't been here since it was a Chinese restaurant 4 or 5 years ago, and it was a pleasant surprise when I walked in recently.  The outside does not look like a cool bar, and I would probably pass it by if I didn't know it was there, but inside is a bumpin' sports bar.  I got dinner with some friends... a pistachio encrusted tuna salad with lettuce, wasabi peas and a tangy dressing.  It was surprisingly good.  My friend got one of their crazy (and delicious) burgers.  His had cheese, bacon, fried egg and onion rings on top... crazy!

The beer selection is good, but not great considering they tout themselves as a "beer garden".  The roofdeck looked awesome (although it was a little too chilly to stay outside), with a beautiful view of the harbor.  My only issue with this place is that it's insanely LOUD... I had to yell to speak with anyone.

This is definitely the best option for an after work drink in the area, but that's not saying much since there's really not much in this area yet.  I would probably come back, but not if I didn't have a good reason.

I have been here twice. The food has always been more than decent. The burger was nice and juicy, and the sea food fra diavlo was nice and tasty. Nothing is particularly special, but it's great for happy hours.
The blueberry beer was interesting.

Grabbed a nice seat by the water on the deck. Sadly, the water you overlook isn't all that glorious, but it's by the water nonetheless. The staff is accommodating (they sat us before the kitchen officially opened and offered us drinks), even if they wear kind of ridiculous outfits...I know, I know...it's for the guys.

Typical sports bar feel. Loads of LCDs mounted and hanging from various walls, ceilings, etc. Ok selection of beer. I ordered a tomato and mozzerella panini. It was slightly bland (I don't think that any effort was made to salt/season the mozz - and the sauce just wasn't flavorful enough to make up for it). It's on par with other local sports bars. Nothing sets it apart good or bad save that it has the waterfront deck option

A group of my friends and I went there a few weeks ago for a dinner and a few drinks. We had about an hour to eat before having to leave for a cruise which was only 100 yds away and we figured that it would be enough time for this place to prepare the wraps and sandwiches we ordered... and we were mistaken.

We should have spotted the problems when it took the waitress over 20 minutes to bring us our beers and the food arrived another 30+ minutes later leaving us with only about 3 or 4 minutes to scarf is down before having to leave the establishment.

Sure it was a bit busy but we're not talking fully cooked entrees here, just wraps and sandwiches... And we kept reminding the waitress of our time crunch.. and were ignored. Prices were fairly high but the food, and by food I mean the two bites I had before we had to jet, were decent at best... Not sure what else to say that hasn't been said in the other reviews, but overall the experience pretty much sucked.

They get two stars because they let me back in even though I was inebriated and still served me! Oh and because they have outdoor seating.

Drinks are relatively cheap ($6 for a mixed drink), food seemed good enough.

The place gets packed on a saturday night but the intriguing part is that the ratio unlike every other bar in boston is 75% guys to girls.  Now granted, chances are you don't want anything to do with those guys with a 24 inch pole, but it was definitely amusing to see a loooong line to the boys room and no one in the girl's one.

I enjoyed the dancing on the patio and the music of 90s, and today of pop.

bar service inside sucks, 30 minutes to get a drink or close a tab.

Regardless of the downsides, due to the company I was with and the music dancing, I had an awesome time.

How to get all the good at the ABG (decent food, cheap beer) and none of the bad (meatheads)? Go on a weekday, during the day. That's what we did.

It was a cool, gray day a few weeks ago, so we didn't get a chance to take in either the roof or the back deck. That's unfortunate, because it seems to be the place to be.

You don't go to a Beer Garden for water. The beer menu is impressive, with a mix of mass market regulars and independent microbrews. One friend had a Red Hook Longhammer IPA; another had the Blue Moon Seasonal (a Honey Wheat of some sort). A third friend had wine, so we'll ignore her. I ordered the mighty 22-oz Dead Guy Ale. Order that, sip it throughout your meal, and enjoy the fact that you're infinitely cooler than the guy drinking across from you.

I'd describe the food as above-par bar food. For apps, we had mini-burritos and tuna tacos, and they were delicious. The tacos had big chunks of fresh avacado, and barely-seared tuna - very tasty. Entrees were burgers; turkey tips; Cape Cod sandwich; and the chicken and pear panini. The spicy fries were an unexpected star of the meal.

The portions were big enough that we could have just ordered the apps and been happy - that (and beer) made for a very slow afternoon.

The server was knowledgeable, polite and efficient, and eager to replace our depleting beer bottles. Which was awesome, except it was a week day and lots of drinking was NOT the best plan of action.

All in all, a good experience. I'd go again.

Walking distance from home, and even quicker from work, Atlantic Beer Garden is in a fantastic spot.

I run by it every week, and finally tried it out yesterday during Tall Ships/Sail Boston 2009. With the gobs of people in the area, thought for sure we'd have a killer wait.

But since all we wanted was beer and to sit outside, we had no wait at all.  Went straight upstairs to the roofdeck and scored a table with the perfect view of the ships, ICA and harbor.  The crowd sucked because it was all touristy and meatheady, but that won't prevent me from coming back.

The dining areas, both inside and out, were jam-packed, and the fries looked goooooooooood.

The service was lacking.  We tried to order at the bar, but told that the roofdeck had waitresses.  Too bad it took forever to get someone to come see us.

Once Fan Pier really gets up and moving, ABG I think will need to work hard to keep clientele with all the new restaurants and bars coming in.

Till then, though, I'll definitely come back for a post work or post run beer, and definitely ordering the fries.  Yum.

I seldom give one-star reviews. I think I've only given one other one during my time here, but Atlantic Beer Garden was one of the most unpleasant dining experiences I've had possibly ever.

A few colleagues and I went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We got there about noon, and many of the tables outside were already taken. Still, they found us a place outside on the corner of the patio.

The waitress came by after a few minutes to take our order, and so far, so good. She arrived a few minutes later with beverages and was attentive throughout the first part of our meal. Our appetizer of fried calamari came out (kind of substandard, very little calamari but lots of fried hot peppers), and we asked the food runner for two more place settings since only two were there. These never showed up through the entirety of our meal, even though he agreed to grab them before running off.

15 minutes later, the food runner was back with three entrees for my colleagues, but none for me. Figuring he was going to go grab it, I was OK with this and told them to start eating. He never showed up again. The waitress, who was pleasant with an Aussie (?) accent, never came around to do a three-minute check back. When she arrived maybe 15 minutes later to ask how everything was, I told her my meal never came and asked her to take it off our bill, which she did.

When we went to pay, one of my colleagues was stunned -- she had two sodas, both in plastic 12-ounce plastic cups, and was charged $2.50 for each. Kind of outrageous. Our waitress took our check and went to cash us out -- and was gone for another 10 minutes.

Maybe they're understaffed. Maybe they're confused. But I'll never be going back to this establishment. Management needs to do something and implement three-minute check backs by wait staff. How is this not policy already as it is at every other restaurant I've ever been to?

I'm incredibly stunned by their lack of customer service. I still would have liked to see them cook up the burger and bring it to me to go on the house with their apologies, but this place isn't one that apparently seeks to go the extra mile for its customers. I'd caution against trying this and recommend finding one of the other establishments in the Seaport/Fort Point Channel area for your dining needs.

I was pleasantly surprised by how this place didn't entirely suck.

The sketchball look of the the ABG and the vast swarms of meatheads fluttering in and out, initially made me kind of nervous. When i got inside it was more of the same... Sleeveless Celtics jerseys, blow outs, CZs and chin straps.

We sat outside on the water which wasn't anything special but still it was nice just to be out.

The waitress walked up and took our order and had our drinks back in 2 minutes, and the place was PACKED! She kept the same level of service up the entire time. I really want to take a moment to say, "you, whatever your name is, thank you for being neat."

Anyway I got the Ahi Tuna Salad and a Harpoon 100-Barrel series, both of which made me happy inside. If i remember correctly my share was about $23, which aside from the atmosphere was well worth it.

My suggestion is NOT to hit this place up on a Friday after work, but to swing down on some random Tues with hopes that the walking hard-ons of the city stay home that night and work on their pecs.

Maybe two and a half stars, but I'm not feeling super generous today.

If you're going for a cheap beer and a view, probably 5 stars.  However, less than impressed with the roofdeck service (slow and unfriendly), beer selection (it is a "beer garden" for gosh sakes) and especially limited menu on the roofdeck.  If you want anything besides a burger/fries/chicken fingers you better stay downstairs because apparently that's all they serve up here.  The burger was really mediocre and the bun wasn't toasted.  The fries were good but it's not that hard to mess up fries.  Like I said, the view is 5-stars, but I wasn't super impressed with the overall experience.

I've also been here on a Saturday night and it is definitely meat market central.  Which could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on how you look at it.

This place was exactly what I needed last weekend during some of the inner harbor Volvo Ocean Racing events... non-puma city way expensive and not great tasting food...... some shade...... and a killer view of the races.

Food was good. I had the Mexican wrap with curly spicy fries. Everything was spicy... but not tooooo spicy. I hate when my mouth is on fire, but like when it has a bit of a tingle from the spice --- when I'm expecting it.

I sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive. My water remained full, he tried to engage me in conversation a bit, but also let me do my own thing and stare out into the harbor to watch the races. There were also a few TVs with various sports playing around the bar.

All in all a good spot to relax and take in a good view, and have some pub food.

I went to this place a few weeks ago, and OK would definitely be the best way to describe it.

My boyfriend and I hadn't eaten all day and it was 5PM so we figured we would go somewhere for an early dinner and drinks.  We were looking for a roof deck because it was so nice out and we were already at the aquarium so we decided to venture over because I heard about this place on http://Boston.com.  The roof deck was already packed when we got there at 5, but we managed to get up there.  Didn't realize that it's virtually impossible to get a waitress up there so we ended up moving to the downstairs deck.  Little did we know it was going to be just as difficult to get a waitress there also.  We were seated without menus and watched while other parties were seated around us, given menus and drink orders taken.  After about 5 to 10 minutes of this, I was about to leave.  I mean, how long does it take to get a freakin menu?  Finally some waitress came by and dropped off menus and said "I'm trying!"  I felt kind of bad for judging so quickly, so we stuck around.  The service improved slightly, but still left a lot to be desired.

The food was good, but nothing great.  I got a chicken sandwich and the chicken was the smalled peice I'd ever seen in a restaurant.  My boyfriend got a buger stuffed with cheese and it really hit the spot for him.  If we go back I'll have to try something else or stick to the beer.

When I went inside to go to the bathroom after a couple 22 oz Dead Guy Ale's I was shocked how packed it was.  It wasn't even 7PM!  Making my way through the crowd was annoying, and by this point they were counting how many people were allowed upstairs.  Since the bathrooms were upstairs I was really worried they wouldn't let me up there, but I slipped by without any issue.

Overall this place has a great view, but the massive crowds and extremely slow service are major turn offs for me.  Maybe, I'll venture back one day when it's not quite so lovely out and there will be less people and better service.

Great location, on the water, nice outdoor seating.  Went there a few weeks ago, sat outside.  Randomly there was construction going on, on the roof.  Saw dust sprinkled all over us, our drinks, food, etc.  The staff was extremely appologetic, and offered to move us, and give us new food.  We mdid move seats, and declinded to have new food.  The manager took al of our food and 1 round of drinks off the bill.  They definatley handled it well, you don't always see that.  For that reason along, I would go back.
Great service!

Wow.  People are really hating on this place.  I think 3 stars is just about right.  I arrived on a Saturday for an early lunch.  The place wasn't even open yet, but they were very nice and offered to seat us anyway.  We got a great table out on the back deck and had drinks within minutes.  The service was extremely friendly, and the food was good.  I knew what to expect, seeing as it's basically the same place as Boston Beer Garden, Brighton Beer Garden, Joshua Tree, and the Playwright.  The food is decent pub food with very fresh ingredients.  I had a chicken, swiss and pear panini that was great.  I will definitely be back again soon for lunch or dinner, but not a night of drinking.

This review is based on everything.  Food, service, etc.

The wife and I really enjoy the Brighton beer garden. We have become quite fond of the beer selection, the atmosphere, the service and mostly the food. We were down by fan pier and saw the Atlantic beer garden and thought we would give it a shot.

When we go in we ask the server if we could sit outside. She said it would be 30 minute wait. So we said okay and she sat us tucked away in a corner with a great view of the deck.  Took about ten minutes before the waitress took our drink order. A little slow, but ok. 5 minutes after she left we saw three tables outside on the deck get cleared and sit empty for the next 15 or so minutes. So maybe we should have waited to be seated outside. There was no line before we got there and no line after we got there. Nobody had been waiting at the bar for seat outside, so we were pretty mad. Thanks to the hostess for not having a clue about how empty/full the deck was.

Waitress finally came back for our appetizer order. We order the buffalo chicken dip. We were very excited for this since it is not served at the Brighton beer garden and we pretty much love all things buffalo. The food took a little bit to be served, and when it was it was quite a let down. Spicy, yes. Cheesy, yes. Chicken, I think so. Buffalo, none. It pretty much just tasted like a tostitos or any other nacho cheese dip. Big let down.

Our waitress continued to get slower and slower as the meal went on. During which we saw people be seated outside, waited on, etc. by the SAME WAITRESS. Two guys came in after us, sat outside, each ordering an appetizer, and a main course. (We only ordered one app) have a drink or two and leave before us. So basically they ordered more for us and where in and out before us. We were no in a rush, but did not want to waste our whole Saturday afternoon in a dark corner. We were not even drinking any beer, so it was not like we were sitting there mulling over our drinks.

When our main food came, mine was supposed to be a blackened chicken wrap. Whatever spice or rub they put on the chicken was way too overwhelming and you could not taste anything else. It did not matter since the wrap did not have the avocado like it said on the menu. I only ate half and filled up on my fries. Which were supposed to be plain fries. When ordering she asked do you want normal fries or seasoned fries. I said plain. The ones I got were covered in rosemary or some type of herb that was anything but plain.

Every time we were ready to complain, there was nobody to complain to, plus, i am not one to complain, i believe things will work themselves out. This time it did not.

So only one star for me. I really wanted this to be a great meal/experience just like the one in Brighton, but we were really really really let down.

I've been wanting to get to this place for a while now, and today, I finally made it. This place is always packed to the brim on the weekend, with a line at the front door, and I will never wait in a literal line, like a bar/club, to get into a restaurant.

But today, we (my girlfriend/partner in crime) went at about 4pm on a weekday, with no wait. The place was very clean and the chairs were surprisingly comfy! There were TVs everywhere and a couple of big projection screen also, which must be awesome when there are multiple games on.

We ordered our drinks and (horray!) they had Magners. Not only did they have Magners, but it came in one of those big pint glasses and this made me happy. My girlfriend ordered a Sam Adams Summer on tap, how can you go wrong? Their beer selection is pretty extensive; they had a Sam Adams "Boston Red" draft, which we never heard of and let us sample it for freebies. For appetizers, we got the Mini Burritos and the French Onion Soup. The soup was gooooood, if you're a French Onion Soup fanatic as I am, I recommend getting this. The Mini Burritos were ok... After eating at Anna's and Felipe's Taquerias in the Boston area, it's hard to enjoy burritos anywhere else.

Then for our meal, I had the Pacific Burger, which is an unhealthy combination of burger, onion rings, and a fried egg. While I may die soon, at least it will be with a full and happy stomach. The girlfriend ordered Bruscetta, which I didn't try, but she said was delicious.

Our server was fantabulous, always checking in at good times, never feeling like we were pressured for anything. After finishing the second half if my Magners and my girl ordering a dirty martini, which oddly came in a glass you'd suspect a Coke to come in rather than a martini glass, we paid our bill. The food is all reasonably priced and the most expensive thing was the martini because she just HAD to get it with Grey Goose. I wish this place wasn't so jam packed on the weekend because I'd go there all the time.

Great bar to watch some Boston sports. I've been to plenty of sports bars in the city and you can never enjoy the game because you have some douchy college boy in your ear. There are plenty of TVs and SPACE between you and the other patrons. Oh, and its very clean (also unlike most Boston bars).

Good bar food and some interesting beer selections, which I love. The location is good and I haven't had any trouble finding parking when I go during the week after work.

As you can probably tell this is a 3-star joint.  Yummy pub food, good service, lots of beah on tap and an awesome location are what await you at the ABG.

I had the steak tips with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli as sides and it was quite delicious.  The meat was tender and the service was fast so all of our food came out piping hot.  I ordered the Brownie sundae (more like a cake) and it was satisfying enough for a non gourmet treat.  It reminded me of what I usually make at home with a side of vanilla ice cream, but still, not bad for ~$5.

I will definitely return to the (roof?!) deck this summer as this place is right on the water and near the always enjoyable ICA.

Atlantic Beer Garden is a pretty boring bar on the water front. What is nice about it, is that it's right around the corner from the convention center and World Trade Center. The wait staff was a little slow but friendly. There is little if any free parking for the Beer Garden, so be ready to shell out $10-11 to park.

The food is nothing special, but it's not bad. I got the jalapeno and cheddar burger. On the menu it said it was a burger stuffed with cheddar and jalapeno peppers, so I was expecting them to be worked into the burger. I was sad to see a regular burger with the peppers and cheese on top, just like you would get at Wendy's. It was decent, but nothing to write home about. My coworkers all enjoyed their meals.

I've seen other reviews saying this is another overpriced Boston bar. I have to disagree with that. There was five guys in our party, four of us had some drinks, and the bill was only $125. Most of the sandwiches were around $10, and the meals ran around $15-20. The prices were fair, it was no more money than eating out in the suburbs.

The Beer Garden, does offer plenty of different beers on tap, and in bottles. I liked the selection they had. I wouldn't make a special trip into town just to eat here, but if you're in the neighborhood for a trade show, or a show at the Bank of American Pavilion, it's a good place to throw back a few drinks and have a burger.

Come for the TV's but not for the food.  The drinks are standard prices ($5 for beer $8-10 for cocktails).  Overall, a good addition to the Seaport but not a spot that I will frequent.

p.s. the place gets packed by Fido employees most Thur and Fri by 4:30 so come early to get a seat/stool.

Yuk!!!!!!! Across all fronts. Too bad there are no negative stars!!!

- Ever wonder where the Southie townies go when they leave da 'hood?
- Ever had a burger that tasted like a hockey puck, stale tortilla chips, and soggy quesadillas, all lukewarm, at one table in one dinner sitting?
- Ever been to a white trash themed party?

If not, go to the ABG, where you can check off all of the above.

Hope it falls off the pier....

Was anyone else there on Saturday night?  It was a nut house upstairs on the roof.

This bar is awesome.  It is the same price as most other bars in Boston too.  The food is good if you go during the day.  I wouldn't suggest trying to eat there on a Saturday night because the place is packed and crazy.

They know what they're doing - I would say that they have the best roof deck in Boston, hands down.

It is a ridiculous place - come to the upstairs on Saturday nights and you will see insane dance parties.

Yay, a beer garden opens up in Boston!  Well, except it wasn't a real beer garden.  And why is the word "beer" in their name when the beer selection isn't outstanding or even beyond your average bar's selection?  This was a chance for a restaurant to bring something new to the scene, and they didn't.

Nevertheless, the decor of the place was pretty nice.  Very modern looking sports bar type of place.  And while Boston has a zillion sports bars and doesn't really need one more, there's nothing like this in the immediate area, and I think it does fill a void to some extent.

As far as service, I see everyone's complaining about it.  But I didn't have a problem at all.  I came in around 2 pm their first week, walked right in and grabbed a seat at the bar.  The bartender was really nice and when I couldn't make up my mind about which beer I want, the bartender was really nice and let me sample the two choices I was thinking about.  He told me I'd like the one that I wasn't leaning toward better, and he was right.

I ended up ordering the tuna salad over a bed of greens with wasabi peas and cucumber.  It looked fantastic.  Unfortunately, the taste didn't live up to visual appeal.  It was a really great concept but the tuna was way overdone on one side, and overall it just didn't taste very good or fresh.  I'd expect better from a place that's right on the water.  The rest of the salad was good, but the tuna was just so disappointing.

I don't know if I'll be back, as I'm not really a sports bar type of person.  And most of the grub was just pretty average fare.

My water was absolutely delicious here!

Getting kicked out of a bar.... check!

Getting kicked out of a bar with your drunk co-workers.. double check!

Waking up in a snowball and attempting to get home the next morning amidst New England's first snow blizzard "emergency" ... well .... that's just... MAXIMUM!!

I hear people come here for the view though....

This place is like a meat market w/ tvs. I went w/ some friends since I never go to this area of town. I had no idea how big it was or realize what a great patio they had in the back. They even have this area for dancing. I didn't get any food although my friends did, not into bar food at all. Very cool place, can't wait to go back & check out the scenery.

I had lunch at the ABG today and I was not impressed.  Granted, it twas crowded, but they have runners who bring the food so the waiters/waitresses are taking orders and bringing drinks.  15 minutes just to acknowledge our presence?  Not cool.  30 more minutes to bring the food?  Also not cool.  I have been a waitress so I can judge.  Sometimes kitchens get backed up, I understand.  But a little service goes a long way.  Would it have killed you to come over and say sorry about the wait, it should be out soon?  I think not.

I was there for 50 minutes and still didn't have the check.  I would give this place 1 star for the service alone, but the french onion soup I had was quite tasty.

Flat-screen TVs decorate the place like wallpaper, hanging alongside a few framed sports-memorabilia items. The beer list is ho-hum. The menu, predictable.

It'd be hard to come up with a more boring addition to the neighborhood. This is the typical _very average_ sports bar. It's less sketchy than the Chinese restaurant that formerly inhabited this location--and it's a step up from the (even sketchier) Seaport Bar & Grille next door--but that's not saying much.

As with other locations in this Boston-area chain of "beer gardens," the beer selection is very, very average. The draught selection doesn't get more creative than Stella Artois, Smithwick's, Longhammer IPA, and Sam Adams seasonal (Octoberfest, at the time of this review). Basically it's all the Bud/Bud Light-type beers you'd expect---no craft beer or interesting bottle selections.

The only saving grace for this place is that the waterfront deck offers some fairly sweet views. But when you have to deal with loud TVs, mediocre food, and a crap beer selection...that's not really a big plus.

Sports bar in Southie that's not the Stadium.  Enough said, no?

It's spacious, the food is typical, the service is friendly enough, and there is a pretty sweet view of the harbor.  Sadly, I had to leave early after downing a plate of curly fries because for some reason that day I had been drinking since 2pm.  Frickin yelpers.

But come on.  It's a great departure from the Seaport bar next door and far more spacious and cheaper than ... oh wait, there aren't any other bars within a two block walking distance from this place.  Just make sure to bring your hat, scarf, gloves, and jacket when walking from the Silverline to the bar amidst large snow storms.  The ocean winds can be brutal!

The location is great and the beer selection was pretty good. We did not eat, so I cannot comment on the food. There are plenty of TVs, so it is a decent place to watch a game, and it overlooks the water. One of my big gripes is that the bathrooms are upstairs and way out of the way. When you've been drinking, scaling a couple of flights of stairs in death defying heels is not at the top of my list of things I enjoy doing.

Great location, good beer selection and decent food.  Stumbled upon this place while walking from the hotel down the street going towards the city.  It's right next to a "calmer" older bar---sort of a contrast between old and new.  Flat panel tv's everywhere, a large wraparound bar and nice outside deck make this place the happening spot.  Got there right before a Red Sox game was to be televised so it was full of people and loud but we still managed to get a table inside.  Beer was good and decently priced----lot of Sam Adams and NE regional beers on tap.  Food was good too and a very nice portion so if you're hungry you won't be disappointed.  As we were leaving, it started to turn more into a nightclub atmosphere with the bouncers outside checking ID's and a short line to get in.  Definitely would go back.

It wasnt bad, I went in with one other person on a Friday night around 7pm and we were seated right away. Granted there was no major sports event that night, but no wait at 7pm is a good thing. The portions are okay. We got the mini burritos and stuffed mushroom caps to split. The burritos were very good, they had a good kick to them though. The mushroom caps were okay, they were breaded and baked, but the breading got soggy after sitting on the plate for a few minutes. The service wasnt that great, but it wasnt too horrible, it looks like our waitress just had a lot of tables to deal with. I would go back, and try some more options off the menu.
