Monica comes highly recommended and for good reason. She knows what she's talking about and does fantastic work. I've tried a fair share of corporate spas all over Atlanta looking for a decent massage but now I've stopped looking.
Very reasonable priced and again...great massage :) -

I have been looking for a great masseuse for a long time. Well now I've found one. Monica is excellent at her craft. She takes the time to listen to what pain issues you are having and addresses them head on during the session. Her Midtown location, weekend hours and instant communication are very helpful. You call some massage places and get voicemails and no call backs. Monica picked up the phone instantly and we booked our first session right then and there. I look forward to working with her in 2012.

After much too long (travel, back surgery from sports related injuries, work, etc.) I finally made it back to see Monica.
I've added an additional star because in addition to offering a great massage, I really appreciated the following:
1) Talk time before and after that didn't eat into massage time. She used this time to re-learn about me, my needs, my goals, etc. Good bedside manner.
2) Flexibility: I mentioned to her how awesome it would be if she could accept credit cards and by the time I showed up, she had enabled her PayPal account so I could do just that. That's cool AND it also enables me to pay by virtue of my HSA card so they're tax free dollars!
Have referred my wife and daughter to her as well.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Review from Mike D.

I do a couple of things that can lead to sore muscles; Crossfit, which involves lifting lots of weights, running, jumping on boxes, squats, etc., and sitting in an office staring at a computer while performing a somewhat stressful job. The combination has led me to encounter sore muscles , bad posture, and get generally out of whack physically.
I have had a lot of spa massages before that felt good, but Monica actually treats my pain, addresses the underlying issues, and listened to my concerns, so I left with a great post massage feeling but also felt much better with some knowledge about how to address some of the underlying causes. Very personalized service with a very wide range of techniques that combined for the best massage ever. I will be back monthly. -

I work out at the gym 3-4 times a week, and I have been visiting Monica at least once-a-week for about a month now. She has truly worked wonders on my neck, shoulders and hamstrings. When it comes to fixing your muscular problems, she is no-nonsense. My wife says my posture is better, my mood has improved, and I appear to be several inches taller. I have recommended Monica to family and friends. Go there now!

I've been seeing Monica for the past couple of years and can tell you she's one of the best out there. I am a gym rat and a rugby player. I will visit her after games and usually get a sports/deep tissue massage. Let me tell you, she will make you feel good as new. I highly recommend seeing her.

I recently went to Monica (aka AtlantaMuscleMelter) for a massage. I'm a computer geek who works 8+ hrs at a desk, and had the associated neck and lower back pain. Monica took the time before the massage to explain all of the different techniques, and types of massages that could best help ME and my individual situation. This was nice as it allowed me to learn what would best address my own individual issues. She provides a very relaxing and stress free atmosphere that really helps in the overall experience of getting a massage. As she started the massage, she learned what state my back\neck muscles were in, and constantly adjusted to give me the best treatment, where I needed it the most, and for the perfect length of time. At the end of the massage (and the next day) I was feeling perfect and rejuvinated....exactly what you are looking for in a massage. i would 100% recommend AtlantaMuscleMelter and would go back.
