I attended a corporate function at the Atlanta Event Center at Opera and the food was incredible! I was very impressed with the quality, set up, and taste. The food really was exceptional. 5 star experience!

After struggling to find a location for my october wedding, we settled on the Atlanta Event Center at Opera and had both the ceremony as well as the reception there.
The staff was lovely, the in-house chef prepared all of the food to a T (in fact we are still getting compliments on the food from our wedding) and the atmosphere for our 30's inspired wedding was perfectly accented by the absolutely gorgeous interior architecture.
I can not recommend this venue enough for the perfect wedding spot.Listed in: Nuptial Bliss

We held an event at Opera in 2008 called The NotWedding, and we couldn't have been happier. The staff is incredibly attentive, the food was amazing and had everyone talking, and the venue itself is so uniquely beautiful. We were thrilled with our experience and can recommend Atlanta Event Center at Opera wholeheartedly.

History
Established in 2007
Buidling was erected in the 1920s as the performance theater for The Wimbish Mansion (The Atlanta Woman's Club). Our venue was designed by the same architects as The Fox Theater and declared "gem-like in its beauty" by The AJC. The venue was left dormant until purchased and renovated by Peachtree Playhouse Theater in the 1970s. It again fell quiet until being repoened as a nightclub in the late 80s and changing hands in the 90s. In 2001, club eleven50 opened under current management as Atlanta's destination for nightlife and private events. In 2007, the venue underwent a two million dollar renovation to restore it to its original opulence.
Meet the Manager: Michelle D.
Michelle, our Director of Events, actually started with the company as a Promotional Assistant for eleven50 in 2001! As Director of Events, she not only handles the sales of both corporate and social events, but also monitors all staffing and in-house needs and ensures the satisfaction of every client, guest and event attendee through attention to ever detail and exemplary hospitality.
