Since Atlanta Cupcake Factory store in the Poncey-Highlands only opens on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for a limited number of hours, I usually go to this location, MetroFresh, for my weekly sugar fix.

They don't carry as many flavors as the actual does, but having a cupcake is better than no cupcake at all.  MetroFresh gets their cupcakes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  So it is most likely that the cupcakes are sold out on weekends, but you can go to the Highlands location on the weekends, so problem solved!

So you've been eyeing those tasty cupcakes at MetroFresh every time you go in to buy something healthy. They look great, have fancy decor atop the swirls of enticing frosting...so maybe you'll just break down and have one. I mean, you ARE buying MetroFresh for lunch, so you surely have some calories to spare.

DON'T DO IT! You won't be able to stop, you'll become hopelessly addicted and wonder about the origin of your delicious Lemon Lemon or Sugar Cookie cupcake.

Luckily for you, the answer is right here in Atlanta. The 2 ladies behind these fab desserts are right here in town, cranking out the bite-sized treats at the Atlanta Cupcake Factory.

You can order a dozen of the flavor that entices you the most, and the cupcakes will be delivered right to your home or office. Need a few more reasons to try them out? I gotcha covered:

Mint Chocolate Mint, Brown Sugar Banana, Chocolate Caramel, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Bailey's , Carrot Cake, and the aforementioned Lemon Lemon and Sugar Cookie.

The best part? Those are only a small sampling of the flavors. AND they will top of your custom 'cakes with everything from sprinkles to chocolate dipped espresso beans. Heaven, in a box.
