Longview, TX
Great healthy food choice. Not many of those in Texas.
We stop here almost every time we go through Wichita Falls.
Friendly enough service and the food tastes very fresh.
They also have several coffee choices that are great. -

Atlanta BREAD Company is an appropriate name as the majority of their sandwiches are almost all bread. I've tried this restaurant 4 times and each time their sandwiches are sub-par in quality and quantity. On a half cuban sandwich there was one little pickle piece, one piece of ham and one tiny slice of pork... I ended up tearing off the bread that didn't have meat on it and it was half of the half!
The order taking employees have yet to get my order correct, even when it's something simple - like more pickles.
Overall, this place needs some help.... they are only game in town, so unfortunately they remain open. -

They got both my order and my boyfriend's order wrong. My sandwich was supposed to have several more types of meat on it, and while it tasted decent, it was unimpressive. This is like a Panera Bread knockoff. The cupcake we had was stale (though the frosting was good) and the iced tea was pretty decent. My boyfriend's sandwich wasn't that great. The corn black bean side was too vinegar-y, but the potato salad was decent.
As my boyfriend says, "worst $24 I ever spent." I'm not normally as picky as him, but even I would have to agree.
I also didn't like how when I went up to the kitchen space to have my order fixed, I could see some of the fixin's in plastic tubs without tops on them and flies were crawling around outside and inside the tubs. I mean, c'mon-- other places use plastic tops to keep the flies out! -

Pretty good (mostly), though this Atlanta Bread has a problem with inconsistency in the kitchen. One visit the sandwich will be good, the next not so much. The soup I got on the last visit was thick and creamy, but bland: ZERO flavor. Their pastries seem to suffer from the same problem. However, given the lack of choice in WF, it is a kind of healthier option and their menu at least has some choices that are not Tex-Mex, fried or greasy.

Not to sound redundant, but I too am from California and completely appreciate the option of not eating huge steaks and fried food at every meal.
I'd like this place to the Panera Bread type establishment. Lots of baked goods, sandwiches, soups, and salads. My soup and sandwich combo was delicious and filling. However, on another visit, my apple bagel was disgusting. It was super doughy and seemed undercooked. I threw it away.
The atmosphere is nice. There are a lot of tables. I can see this being a great hang out place for students. When I have been there so far, it has been fairly empty and quiet. I like that.
Next I will give their coffee a try. -

It's Texas - everything is bigger (and fattier), leaving this health conscious California native longing to leave the Lone Star State ASAP to eat anything other than giant sized steaks and er ruther. Atlanta Bread was my saving grace for the six weeks I spent in Wichita Falls for work. I wanted to have brunch, lunch, and dinner here all the time. Usually, I could con a lunch and a Sunday dinner at Atlanta Bread out of my coworkers. The girls and I spent many casual, leisurely Sundays eating and talking over sandwiches, salads, and desserts a la Sex and the City.
I always got the half and half combo, either a veggie sandwich or a roasted turkey with the Balsamic Bleu salad. The pastries and smoothies are lovely as well - fantastic they serve just muffin tops!
Oxymoronically, Atlanta Bread for healthy, light, delicious food in Wichita Falls, Texas. -

As as student, I spent a lot of time at Atlanta Bread. Why? Because their panini's are easy to eat while studying, the desserts are delicious, everything is reasonably priced, and the place has free wi-fi.
I spent a lot of days studying at this particular Atlanta Bread because it's close to Midwestern State University which makes it a convenient place to cram before a test.
This place is pretty busy during lunch and can get pretty noisy with all the children, but that's really only around lunch time. Any other time, this place is pretty quiet.
Another interesting thing is that some nights, there is live music. It's always a nice thing to wind-down to good food and good live music. -

To keep it short and not so sweet. food was terrible, kids that work the counter could care less, they are mostly interrested in texting and taking smoke breaks and when i dared to talk to the manager about it, I was basically told " If you don't like it, don't come back ..."! Ok ... no problem won't be back EVER. Think twice befor you go and eat their "healthy" frozen, prepackaged and then reheated food !

Great for grabbing pastries to go. Inexpensive and fresh. Not sure about dining in. Had a less than perfect meal some time ago but will try again.

My husband tried to order a sandwich without tomatoes. The girl at the register said, "Oh I'm sorry, the tomatoes are already on there and its frozen so we can't get them off." Nuf said.

Not good. Terrible service. The college aged kids that work there care more about taking smoke breaks than making quality food. Veggie panini was soggy (was it frozen and reheated...not sure). Salad mediocre. Seems like there must be a better healthy option in town.

Like one of the other reviewers, I am also from California, and wanted a healthy alternative to the cholesterol-ridden food joints in the area. Atlanta Bread Co. was the answer! There's an array of choices, from cold/hot sandwiches, soups, salads, for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Pastries are also sold, but I tend to ignore that section (no temptations, please!).
I've ordered vegetarian and non-vegetarian sandwiches, and both have been prepared with perfection. The half-sandwich, half-salad combo is usually what I go with, and quite filling. If I ever return to Texas, I'll be coming back to the Atlanta Bread Company!
