I wish there were more Atlanta Bread locations around town... I would pick this place over Panera any day! They clearly cater to the same crowd, but I think ABC wins the battle hands down. The Chopstix Salad is possibly my favorite in town. The soups are the perfect thing on a cold day. If you haven't, you must try the chicken chili. It's not made with white beans like most chicken chilis, instead it's similar to regular chili with the only different being shredded chicken in place of beef. The snacks are pretty good as well, although Panera might have a slight edge in the bakery category. The cookies are my favorite thing, especially on Friday when they are free (yeah, you read that right... FREE COOKIE FRIDAY).
They also have a frequent customer card which is a good thing if you go often like I do. I've had their boxed lunches at meetings before, and have always been just as pleased as I am when dining in. -

When I lived in a city without Panera, ABC was my favorite place to eat. They had yummy sandwiches, bagels and other desserts. When I moved to Nashville I fell in love with Panera. I do still go to ABC though on random occasions. But it never got me back permanently.
Their bagel selection isn't as broad as Panera's, or nearly as healthy. The location is pretty good, and they usually keep it pretty clean. I always get confused though, because they have registers at the front and back of the building but you're never sure which is open. They also have really goofy hours and close SUPER early during the week.
