This is THE place to stay in Redwood City area!~ My husband and I spent new years eve here and have to say, even though we live close, I want to go back for the unbelievably great bed, the warmth of the owners, and the close proximity to places we like to go. Breakfast was delicious, the wine the evening previous, all of the great options for 'help yourself' including those chocolates!!
The price is no more than a hotel... (they also upgraded us since they had a cancellation - nice surprise!) there are no negatives at all about the Atherton Inn. I look forward to the next beautiful nights sleep there. -

OMG!!! This place is fantastic! It's so close to home that you don't feel guilty about leaving the kids for the night. My husband and I have been twice and both times we were treated with exellent care. Each was truly a mini vacation. The nicest thing is that you'd never even guess it's there so there aren't a lot of tourists like most B&Bs.

Absolutely spectacular! My parents have been coming here for years and I recently stayed with them for my sister's recent graduation from Stanford. Frankly, it's idyllic-- it's a beautiful home located in a serene residential area and the accommodations are superb. Proprietors Tricia and Jim are warm and welcoming and make you feel as if you're staying with family that you should really be visiting far more often. Can't recommend them highly enough.
