This place is bomb. Definitely going to make this our usual stop when driving between MA and VT. So far, we have tried their amazing pizza, but everything else looks sooooo good!

As a transplanted New Yorker, I missed the pizza back home. This pizza is as close as you can get to NY pizza. Their Greek salads are fantastic, as well

Athens had one of the better Greek style pizzas we've tried. It was actually a little greasy, in a good way! Most Greek style pizzas are too dry and crackery to my Midwestern taste. The gyro, sadly, was completely fake, just like every other "gyro" out here that has never gyroed its way around a spit like the real deal. A bonus for having their own small parking lot, too, instead of fighting over Main Street spots.

OK I will confess, I did not eat the pizza yet. It looked amazing! However I did eat the best Greek Salad ever. The feta was magical in texture and flavor, unlike any feta I have ever eaten before. My dining partner ate two gyros because they were just that good. We will be back for pizza and round two soon enough! Oh and FYI the prices are good here too.
*Update/round two: the pizza with feta and tomatoes! So much better then I could have dreamt. The crust was a nice semi-firm texture, the cheese was something special- very fresh and melty, and the sauce was good too. I would recommend a greek salad and pizza split between people since the feta is really their prize.Listed in: Crust, sauce, cheese and…

This is, perhaps, some of the best Pizza in Southwestern, NH. OK. That may not be saying much. However, growing up in and around Keene, Greek pizza was *the* pizza to have.
Papajohn's tried to move in. They didn't survive.
A place called Pizza Pie moved in. I don't know if they are still around but nobody was ever in there...
So, what makes Athens Pizza so good? The seasonings. If you go often enough you can tell that each pizza chef has a different handle on seasonings. The smell of oregano and basil fill the air when you walk through the door.
The salads are great. I wish I knew their recipe for dressing. They aren't cheap with the feta cheese either. A salad and a pizza make the experience completely worthwhile.
Go now. What are you waiting for? -

Mmm, Greek salad. With real Greek olives that have never seen the inside of a can.
Mmm, antipasto. Piles of cured meats and cheeses? Sign me up.
Mmmmmm, pizza. So chewy, so cheesy, so laden with fresh, delicious toppings. And, um, calories. Whatever...
Oh, and mmm, baklava too. -

Pizza on a pita! Yummy. Give me some more. Athens has a super tasty pizza formula.
The employees were helpful and made suggestions once we found that they did not sell slices.
We may move to Keene just to be near this place!
No, not really, but we sure are going back when in the area, -

The quality hasn't changed for as long as I know, like 20 years.

Agree that this is the best pizza in the area here. Nice selection of toppings, good crust, prompt service. The sit down area is fairly nice too, but it's just as well to get it take-out.

I came back to Keene, NH just for this.
No, really.
I lived in Keene for just under a year, and probably ate at Athens a couple dozen times? I'm serious when I say it was the best pizza I'd ever had, and although any sort of repetition tends to cheapen the experience, it wasn't so with Athens.
I almost always split a medium with a friend, with pepperoni and sausage on my half (I'm a carnivore, sue me). Not a whole lot of variety, I know, but it was a combination that hit by taste buds just so to send me into rapturous mouthgasms. It was heaven on pizza dough.
After coming to Denver, I've had my share of pizza, usually of the Costco and Pizza Hut variety, although I have sampled quite a few of the City's classier joints. In my mind's eye, however, none of it compared to the glory of Athens. Convinced that it was simply a case of absence making that heart of mine grow fonder, I decided it was time to go back. Make sure Athens was there, and that it was still oh-so-good. I planned the trip under the guise of seeing some friends and family, took time off of work, flew halfway across the country, and finally, on a Saturday night in September, drove the hour from my girlfriend's parent's house in Temple to Keene.
It was ten at night by the time we walked through the door, but the place was still somewhat busy. We ordered, took our seats, making nervous small-talk. When they called my name, I all but ran to the counter... and there it was. An Athens pizza. Just like I remembered it.
Perfectly greasy.
Sweet and savory.
Hot, chewy, and decadent.
I miss you. -

Mmmmmmm. Athens pizza. So deeeliciously naughty. I love it. Bacon, pineapple, and mushrooms is the best combination ever. My old roommate and I used to split one of those and have leftovers for the next couple days. So good. They're pretty good about delivery time, and if you go into the resteraunt, it's fairly straightforward. Walk in, place an order with the people at the register, and grab a booth. Then, wait for your number to be called. And heaven in your mouth ensues =)

Athens is the spot! They have a great all around menu and good pies. The Athens special pizza and a bud in a frosted mug right off the tap is sometimes just what the doctor ordered. On the other hand if you want one of these fine pies on a Friday or Saturday night you better call it in at about 4pm because they crank and pick ups can be a long wait let alone delivery. Also just so you know if you don't like greasy pizza, theirs is. But hey thats why they give you extra napkins.

This is the best pizza in Keene. In the hierarchy of pizzas, Athens is at the very top tier. It's impossible to eat just 1 slice.

A solid choice, never a disappointment. The salads are fresh and chock full. The chicken kabob is great. Go

Best pizza ever! Kielbasa and onions... But you really can't go wrong with anything - pizza, grinder, salad - it's all amazing.
