I love this store! It's got a mixpodge of used and new music, books, art, and gift related stuff.
Got my used 14 CD Pink Floyd music compilation set from Atalanta's! I also got some used poetry and photography books, hippie purses (made in Tucson, but sold in Bisbee, go figure...), and incense of all kinds. My son bought a new guitar from her, and my daughter got drawing pads, pencils, and oragami paper there, also.
Would go back there in a heartbeat to see what new gems I could find there. -

I stopped by Atalanta's once and was not all that impressed. That stated; this was many years ago and I'm willing to scope it out again so it gets three (3) stars.
In defence of the place; at least Bisbee (unlike quite a few Az towns between 5-25K residents, smaller ones I'll give a bye too since the population base is too low in all fairness), DOES have enough 'intelligence', shall we say, to support a local Indie bookstore. -

Great customer service over the phone. Very important for first impressions, especially prospective tourists. Can't wait to support this local store when I visit!

A great multi-purpose store in scenic Old Bisbee. Books, new and used, many of local interest, art supplies, maps, music, organic natural clothing, music instrument rental, even solar ovens. I've spent a few days exploring Bisbee and this is one place both tourists and locals patronize. Along with the fine restaurant, Cafe Roka, across the street, a few nice galleries and a couple of spots for good coffee, my visit was perfect.
