My cat is very particular and on the shy side. I was very hesitant to have a stranger come into my home to look after my girl and so I did my research. Thank you Yelp.
I couldn't believe how professional Mary was. This isn't just something she does to make extra cash, it's a reputable business. Mary put my fears at ease upon our first meeting. She asked so many questions about my cat that I began to wonder just how much I knew my cat after all. :P In all seriousness, Mary took the time to get to know my cats little quirks and her daily patterns to ensure the best experience possible.
While I was away Mary not only cared for my cat daily but she brought in my mail and spent time with my girl. I came home to happy cat and that's never happened before! Normally, I get a whole lot of attitude from Ms. Vic when I return from a trip.

Mary is fantastic. Before Mary, I absolutely hated leaving our kitty when we were away. Now I can relax when we leave town - I know he's in good hands. She's also really good about sending me some update emails so I know I have a happy cat at home.
Mary is such a pro. The very first time she came to our apartment to meet us and Charlie, she called me on my cell to let me know she had arrived rather than ringing our buzzer, because she figured that the buzzer would scare kitty and make him go hide (yup - he does this every time!). Now THAT is someone who knows cats and sincerely has their best interests at heart.
She also gets our mail and is willing to water any plants you might have or rotate your lights for you. And her rates are fantastic.
At Home Pet Sitting is so the way to go. -

Mary is the best! She has cared for our cats since 2008, and we have been thrilled with every experience we've had with her. We return home to happy and contented cats. I recommend At Home Pet Sitting San Francisco wholeheartedly!!

Our cat has a personality is more like a cranky dog. He's had some health issues over the years ('blockages' - poor boy kitties),
and when my husband and I travel, he gets... stressed out.
Mary went above and beyond when we went away for a few days recently. She called to give me updates, gave him extra love and affection and made sure that our cat was well cared for. It's unusual that I feel so comfortable with a pet-sitter, but I would definitely recommend Mary and At Home Pet Sitting! -

Mary is the best! We always worry about our cat when we go out of town, but Mary puts in the quality time to give him ample attention when we're away. Whenever I return to SF after a long vacation, we can tell that our cat hasn't been neglected. We also love reading the "report" that Mary leaves about our cat while we're gone! Thanks Mary! :)

Mary looked after my beloved cat for four years, providing excellent care. Over the years she has given her love while caring for mr. man and she went beyond expectations - providing him with toys and foods he liked more than those i had given him and frequently spending more than the alloted time. On more than one occasion when I returned from a trip, Mary and I would enter the apartment together, and mr man seemed genuinely confused about who he was more excited to see.
Her care and dedication was never more demonstrated than when she offered to support me and to provide her love to mr man when his cancer caused liver failure and he needed to be laid to rest. She provided her support and expertise in helping me make the decision that it was time to end his pain. She came to my apartment and helped with administering his medication and hydrating him. When it was time to have him laid to rest, she sat with both of us during the procedure, and was there to help clean up when everything was done. All of this was done in genuine care and love for my cat, and support to give me the strength to do what was right in the best interest of the pet.

We have used At Home Pet Sitting for a couple of years to look after our precious cat Bella when we are away. Mary does a wonderful job and is extremely thoughtful and professional. She also truly cares about the health and welfare of the animals that she looks after. When she sits for us she usually brings a new toy to give to Bella. She takes wonderful pictures of her playing and leaves the prints for us. When you schedule a service with At Home Pet Sitting you will fill out a very professional form for your travel dates, emergency contact info, vet information, pet health history, etc. We always feel secure knowing that Bella will be well cared for when we are away.
