The sales staff here were very nice, polite, and helpful. I recently purchased at cell phone here, AT&T 8525 which I love, and spent a ton of money and they treated me really well and helped me set it up. I recommend this store and will definitely come back!

The employee was polite but none of them want to take care of us.we were there for twenty minutes waiting on the guy who talked to us in the beginning while three other employees stood around and did nothing. when we asked if any of them could help us they told us to wait for the guy. I would have understood if there was a huge line but we and one other customer were the only ones in store...

If I could give 0 stars to this store, I would. I haven't written a Yelp review in over a year, but my experience tonight was motivation enough.
Let me preface this by saying that I was wrong, because I got to the store at 9:04 p.m. and when I walked up, I saw that they close at 9 p.m. (I would have gotten there sooner, but stupid slow-driving people kept getting in my way!). However, there were three employees inside along with two customers, and I could clearly see them all through the glass storefront. If I could see them, they could see me, right? Then why did all three employees deliberately avoid making eye contact with me? Yes, I was going to try to charm my way into the store because I have a flight to catch in the morning and REALLY wanted to add a data plan to my phone before my departure, but once I saw their reactions, I knew that wasn't happening.
So, I moved on to Plan B, which was: Catch someone's attention and ask if any other stores stayed open later. I moved into the employees' sight lines and waved; they continued to ignore me. Defeated, I started walking to my car, but then I got pissed and turned back. I knocked on the door and saw the employees all look at each other and say a few words, presumably trying to figure out who would deign him/herself to come speak to me.
The designated spokesperson came to the door and said, "We're closed." To which I replied, "Yes, I understand that, but can you tell me if there's another location that is open later?" And she said, "There's no one else...we stay open the latest of all the AT&T stores." Something told me that was bull, based on the way I was being treated and the fact that she seemed to just be trying to get rid of me, but I said "Thank you" (albeit curtly), and went home.
Of course, I get home and check the AT&T store locator, and what do you know? The Valley Fair location is open until 9:30!!! And I could totally have made it there, if not for their avoidance tactics.
So, a big EFF YOU with both middle fingers up to this AT&T location. People shouldn't be in customer service if they're not willing to properly serve customers. I understand that the customer is not always right, but a potential customer should never be ignored. I will never darken their doorway (or cast a shadow on their storefront) again. -

Sell! Sell! Sell! That's all that they want to do! They make sure that they convince you to buy something in between you navigating their seriously lame plans.
This part of my review is for the AT&T policy of non affordable price on an I-Phone if you're still under contract! You have to shell out $600+ if you want to upgrade to an I-Phone so bad. Recession people-don't you think that you'd be better off allowing people to buy an I-phone even when they're still in contract? You will sell more of THAT phone! I say that's L-A-M-E. -

We bought our Blackberry here. The person that we got was the most knowledgeable in the brand so that helped, especially since we've never used a Blackberry before.
Since that was such a positive experience, I went there when my Blackberry conked out about a year plus after buying it. The screen went all white with a wording on there saying I need to reset it.
As soon as I walked in the door, my heart sank coz the person that I dealt with before wasn't there. The kid who tried to help me out seems to have no clue about Blackberry and I soon found out that I know more about the problem than he or his colleagues did. He just said that there's nothing they can do and that I have to get a new phone. Since my contract is still not up yet, it would be really expensive to get a new phone from there. I asked him if it's better for me to call AT&T customer service and he said no.
So I left and decided to just get another Blackberry online. I got one unlocked and accidentally downloaded the wrong o/s application so manage to get the screen freeze again, this time with a different message. At this time, I called AT&T and asked them what to do, they then forwarded me to a Blackberry rep but I was at my wits end by this time and my husband took over. He with the Blackberry rep managed to fix my phone, then he asked them about my old phone and guess what, they fixed that too.
The moral of the story, do not come to this store if there is something wrong with your phone, just call AT&T customer service. BTW, I also bought a Go phone recently but just did it online. It's just easier that way. -

Man...forget this place! I'm better off going next door to Subway and buying a cell phone from the sandwich makers!
Here's why:
- Limited phones! Mostly "free phones" on display and they're all in beat up condition. Did the neighborhood dog chew on them?
- All the high end phones such as the 8525 was 'boxed up" and not available to showcase. The sales rep didn't try to sell me the phone. He kept pitching the, "well we can sell you the phone but if you don't like it you have 30 days to return it." That's not the point you idiot! Display your products so the customer (like me) can analyze it and decide if its going to be perfect fit! If have questions, so obviously you guys won't have any answers!
- Ghetto by definition! I mean... come on... who wheels and deals at an AT&T store? This ain't the flea market! Dirty floors... hmmm... maybe because these guys are busy "macking" on the customers? Sales rep appeared to seniors in high school with the males wearing their jeans to their ankle waists. Nice representation of the business, kids!
- I knew more about their products and services than the kid that tried to help me. Gosh! Study your company protocol and procedures. A major customer service revamp is needed here. Lying and making up services is not going to get you the commission needed for your PS3.
I wasted about a half hour with these kids. So I left and ventured off to the one in McCarthy Ranch in Milpitas. This San Jose location can kiss my ass! -

Went here to buy yet another Bluetooth headset!(Jawbone for driving and loud places, Motorola H12 for everywhere else)! The employees are super-fast when it comes to greeting a potential sale, but super-slow in the head. They were all like, "You know your mom has a 50% discount on accessories since she works for the Post Office, right?" And when I told them to apply the discount, they didn't know why I should get 50% off. Damn. Oh well, I still got my Jawbone for less than $65!
