First of, let me start out by saying I am Great Fan of Apple Products (Like Millions and Billions of People around the Globe). Through the years, I have owned and still has: iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad. With that said, Now it's time for me to upgrade my phone.

We went here today  to get my phone upgraded to iPhone 4s 32gb  and change my plan to a Family Plan so I can save money every month on texting, internet usage and calls etc. etc.. I was so very lucky to get  Kieem Baker - Lead Retail Sales Consultant of AT&T to help me:  Activate my new phone, Put in a new candy shell case for my iPhone, Put in a screen protector, Change and Update some things in my new Family Plan so we can save money and he also sync my old phone contacts and pictures into my new phone. Everything cost me about $426.81. After all of the Transactions was done, Kieem even walked us out the door! What an Amazing Employee! and an Awesome Customer Service!

Before, I Had so many bad experiences in going to a mobile retail store. So, I ended up just ordering my upgraded phones online and just activating it myself. I never liked and felt so uncomfortable, nervous and sometimes intimidated in going to this type of retail store. But this time I had no choice but to go to a retail store cause I had to change my Individual Plan and join my sis boyfriend's Family Plan. My past experiences in mobile stores are usually involved: 1) Pushy Employees - wanted me to buy extra accessories, this and that , wanted me to add little things and big things in my order like Changing my Plans, Insurance for the phone etc. etc. 2) Not Knowledgeable,Impatience,Not Friendly,Rude, Doesn't  want to explain things to you or make any effort to go the extra mile, and they're always in a hurry to set things up and get you out  the door. But NOT Kieem, He was so Helpful, Knowledgeable - He will Thoroughly explain to you your Plan and what you can change or do to save money in the Future or Now, His very Patience, Courteous and Polite. In all my life of going to this type of retail store I have never encountered someone like  Kieem!!

Kieem is an exceptional and excellent employee and I hope to do more business with him next time. I have his calling card and I will look for him every time I need to upgrade my phone or change my Plan and I will also highly recommend this guy in all my friends and family. Topnotch service I got from this guy! Before Kieem, I didn't know that Mobile Retail Store offers this kind of Topnotch Customer Service! He broke the Mold! Thanks! for the Great Customer Service Today! Kieem. Your one in a Million!

I am a Happy Camper! So happy with my new phone and new plan. I plan to come back in the same place and get the new iPhone 5 (when it's released) in the very near future. But I make sure Kieem will be there! A real Professional, Knowledgeable, Nice Guy that will go an extra mile for a customer like me.

I came on a Friday after work. It was really busy but I was greeted with someone taking my name and answering a few basic questions I had. I only needed to change my phone number so while waiting around I looked at some cases for my phone.

Once my name appeared on the bored I was approached by the staff who would help me through my transaction. He was very polite, very kind, and very helpful.

The service was efficient and speedy once the ball got rolling. All my silly questions about the transfer was answered without hesitation and everyone who worked there had a smile.

    Great Store.

Purchased my last two cell phones from this location.  Blackberry track ball will not allow me to scroll down.  Want to switch to Apple 5 when it comes out.  What to do in the meantime?
Go to this location with their d--b ass sign in system where people that didn't sign in just walk in front of you while you wait and the counter personnel takes care of them first.  Swell.  It's a while till I retire so my time is important ...
Finally get to talk to someone, describe my dilema and the response?
"We can't do anything, you should just wait for the Apple 5."
Um, I like work and get business calls and emails and ...
Luckily Karen at work looked up "Blackberry Shortcuts" on the net and I am able to maneuver with difficulty but enough to get by.
Oops, Amy's ready for the Fitness Walk so I gotta go now ...
    Uh, AT&T by Serramonte sucks.

There is no other way to get in touch with them other than going to the store. No one picks up the line with the number provided and there is no e-mail contact.

I bought an iPhone 4 at the Serramonte ATT and returned it at this Gellert location. They never reversed the upgrade so ATT corp is saying I need to get in touch with this store to prove I returned the phone. This happened in February. I don't have a receipt from 7 months ago! ATT rep tried to school me on some "army" saying that you gotta cover your behind on some ish. Are you serious? On and on rambling, that it was my responsibility to hold on to receipts for returns. I even said that I can prove in my bank account that I got a return. But they're still requiring a receipt! F this place, F ATT. I really need to get rid of my contract with them.

I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised at the customer service experience at this location. I was there yesterday after work to replace my Dad's phone. Brandon C was extremely knowledgeable, showed me all the options that were available, and even offered to fill out the mail-in-rebate form, cut out the UPC, and print out the duplicate receipt. All I had to do was put the whole package into an envelope, put the address on it, and stick a stamp. I'm sure if I asked, he would have prepared the envelope for me.

Over the years, I have noticed that the whole AT&T Wireless experience has gotten better. This particular store has recently undergone a remodel. When I walked in, I did not recognize the place. Even the manager asked how my day was going, whether Brandon was being helpful, and thanked me by name when she was authorizing a discount.

There have been many bad raps that AT&T stores have gotten in the past but now, they have definitely kicked it up several notches. It will be nice when the next iPhone comes out. Who knows, I may want to upgrade my iPhone 4.

We've been here a few times over the years and have generally been pretty happy. My most recent trip was for a new iPhone4 after an update on my 3g caused it to run at a snails pace. Literally 3 minutes to open an app and then crash.

I walked in and holy cow, the place was stuffed with people waiting to be helped. I was asked for my name to be added to the list and when I inquired about the wait was told that they didn't know.

Lets do some math, 20 people waiting, 5 people working, if the average time spent with a customer is 30 minutes, that would be a 2 hour wait.

What company wants to make their customers wait 2 hours to be helped? Maybe try finding an alternate solution or recommending another location.

I don't know about everyone else but I didn't have a hard time here. I came in, took care of what I needed to and left, and it was all good. I also base this rating on the person who helped me there. On your next visit, ask for Kieem. He's the retail sales consultant. He has great service! 4 stars. I would give 5 but we don't AT&T to run with that and get cocky on us lol.

I've read over the 5 star reviews and wonder how I missed the "rock star" customer service reps???

I call the store and ask if they can transfer my phone numbers from my Verizon Blackberry to my new AT&T Blackberry. "Yes we can!" is the answer. Off I go to get the numbers transferred.

It's difficult to tell who's working with someone as they stand behind the counters and look intently at the computer screen in front of them. There's no queue so you know where to line up or even take a number, so someone can wander in and walk in front of you.

Finally, I get someone's attention. I give him my two phones and ask for the number transfer. He goes into the back, comes out and asks for my password for the Verizon phone. 45 minutes later, the phone numbers haven't transferred, the password is not working on the Verizon phone, locking me out of even looking up the numbers in it!

To add insult in to injury, I wanted to buy a headset for jack as it works better than a Bluetooth. I only wanted one ear bud. The rep "helping" me says we're all out of one ear buds, but we have stereo ear buds.
Obviously, he doesn't know that you're not supposed to have both ears blocked when driving.

While I was waiting, another customer came in to pay her bill at the self serve machine. She said I have a $100 bill. The machine doesn't make change. One of the staff said "The overage will be applied to your next bill." The woman said "I'd like change, please." The staffer said "You can go next door to Starbucks or Walgreens for change." The now irate customer asked to speak to the manager who magically opened the cash drawer and made change so she could put an appropriate amount of cash into the machine.

Do yourself a favor. Avoid this store for all your phone needs. Someplace has got to be better!

I lost my phone and had to get a new one. This place was closest so I tried it first.

I had to wait a noticeable amount of time and then they told me they couldn't give me my mom's cell upgrade because she wasn't in the store and suggested i buy a "go-phone" at target or radio shack.

I called At&t later and they said they should have treated me better because I am an authorized user and they should have given me a phone.

But no...they didn't and suggested I spend my money elsewhere. I'm SO GLAD I'm an at&t customer.

My Razr phone had issues with the screen, so we went here to see if I can get a replacement. Contract wasn't up yet, so the rep said to go to the repair place in Colma because I still had warranty. Went to Colma and was told the warranty expired a week ago (OUCH!) and that the outside service they contract does not fix "warranty-expired" phones AND the repair store did not carry my brand anymore! Oh what an evening that was for me! Arrrrghhhh!

The next day, I went back to the DC store and started checking out phones. Damn, they are really expensive when you're still under contract! I talked to this one Asian lady who helped me find a cheap phone to use until the contract expired. Took 15 minutes and that was that. If is wasn't for her, the review would have been 1 star. Thanks Lillian!

Horrible wait, terrible serivice and inexperienced staff. We left without changing our plan but apparently the customer service rep had different ideas.

We ended up at the Westlake Center branch. Turns out the gal at Serremonte messed our plan up so much we just had to open a new account. I highly recommend the Westlake Center branch. They know what they are doing and they give good deals too!

I think everyone that works at this store is either incompetent or just like to bullshit their customers.

Went in to have my phone upgraded, but returned it because I saw the same exact phone for free at another store. Charged me $20 restocking fee when I didn't even have the phone for 15 minutes, and everything was still in the box and was never taken out. -1 STAR

Was told that my upgrade will be reversed so I can use the upgrade at the other store. Nope, could not upgrade and then was told that it might take 24-46 ( I don't know why they told me 46 hours and not just 48 hours) hours for the upgrade reversal to go into affect. Nope, waited 3 weeks and I still cannot upgrade my phone. - 2 stars.

Went into the same store to discuss about my monthly bill. Was told that it would be better if I got the family txt plan since it was unlimited and we were going over our txt rates anyways. The lady told me that it would be $150 total including tax per month. I asked her numerous times, was she sure it is going to be $150 INCLUDING tax, per month. She kept saying yes and that she was ABSOLUTELY sure. Got my bill for the following month, the bill was $150+ $30 tax. Went back to ask her about it, and she denies ever having spoken with me. She's sure that I was mistaken about who I talked to earlier. Come on lady, it's kinda hard for me to be mistaken about who I talked to, since you are the only asian lady that works there, you do know that right?

I seriously want to rate this place a negative ZERO! But that option don't exist.

    ***BEWARE***BEWARE***BEWARE***
List of NOT to be trusted workers:

ALEXIS CASTRO aka TOSHI (tattoos & piercing):  Will authorize a service (U-Verse) without your knowledge/ consent.

ALEX (LATIN MALE): Received no help from him, he didn't want to hear anything from me. So he left and went on break.

PHEN_ _ _ _ (ASIAN FEMALE with black hair & wears glasses): Unprofessional. Will gossip about customers (ME) with fellow colleagues in front of customers.

These 3 representatives at this Gellert branch definitely needs serious attention from upper management. Their not fit for any customer service jobs. (Beware EMPLOYERS)

    Problem:

Our home phone & internet services was disconnected for more than a week. This is due to Alexis authorizing a U-Verse order in our account. She offered this service to us, but no agreement was made. However, she still processed the order. Upon processing the order, our regular phone & internet service was not available to us after two weeks. We called AT & T about the issue, we informed them that we paid our bills. We were told that it's not the bills, instead its because of the U-Verse order that our regular phone & internet was cut off.  Because of the unknown order made to our account,  AT & T told us that we must cancel our order. An order that we didn't know nothing about. How PATHETIC is that? There was definitely a lot of calling, put on hold, and visits at the store. It was not a pleasant experience. I have never encountered so much problem and this is all because of AT&T's representative (ALEXIS CASTRO aka TOSHI).

However, I was assisted by another representative Gordon Lum who seemed to know what customer service means. He was able to get our home phone reactivated. Another person that assisted us is Romeo Young the assistant manager, he was able to solve our problem.

I AM NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS BRANCH!

It's a great location but such a waste because of their CRAPPY customer service. Upper management needs to spend extra time training their employees & to keep their eyes open.

If I could I would give Zero stars because they truly deserve it.

Beware of all the accessories they throw in that are supposedly "free". Double check before you pay that they are charging you for the phones instead of the "free" accessories. And beware of a manager called Richard Ma who will do nothing to correct a problem and never call you back.

I got an iPhone and two Samsung phones that were on promotion for my parents. The salesguy Robert DeCoito kept asking if I wanted a free accessories and he ended up giving me a car charger, 2 yr warranty and an iPhone case. I asked how much they were and he kept saying "they're free, just don't tell anyone I gave them to you". I thought, wow this guy is awesome!

I go home and realized they charged me for the accessories and gave me the 2 phones for my parents free when they should have charged me $100 for them. Then I realized the accessories conveniently added up to $100 which covered the price of the 2 phones. I thought it was super shady especially since he said they were for FREE. So after all the rebates I was still short $30 for the Samsung phones which couldn't be accounted for because they never charged me for the phones.

I go into the store to talk to Robert DeCoito and I end up getting his manager Richard Ma. I tell him the problem and he does nothing to understand the situation, he just says "okay what can I do to fix the problem"? Hello, did you listen to anything I just said? He ended up saying he would give me a credit of $30 on my next bill. Next month rolls around and no credit. I call him and explain the situation again and he says "oh yea I remember, okay let me call you back". I never get a call back.

I have an extremely low tolerance when it comes to shitty customer service. I can forget about the $30 but the fact that they knowingly took advantage of me and tried to avoid me afterwards instead of fixing the problem makes me livid. But I ran out of patience and wanted to avoid any confrontation because I probably would have made a scene at the store if I went back. So I called customer service and they ended up crediting me back the money.

I got my first Iphone here 3 years ago and I got the best service, and I'm still with AT&T today. I came here recently for a mini cell tower for the home cause I have horrible reception. The bf have gotten mad on many occasions trying to call me at home from outside my door. And for some reason he assumed I was just taking forever to get ready and simply ignoring his calls. ** BEWARE ** IF YOU ARE THINKING OF SIGNING UP SERVICE, GETTING IPHONE, WHATEVER... GO TO ANOTHER AT&T STORE!

So Ok... I wanted to get an iphone and thought I would get it at AT&T. Going into the Gellert store was the worst decision I made. I went and bought my phone from Daniel. I asked him what the difference between getting it from the Apple store and AT&T he said... nothing... commission but since he seemed like an OK guy I was like alright... I'll just get it here.
When it came to ringing me up he said that the credit machine was down so he slid my card about 3x until he said it finally went through. The next day he called me to tell me he charged my card an additional 2x of $400 somethin... when I only authorized $200 to be taken out out of my account. I told them can't they just void that transaction and they said they couldn't. I basically was out $800 somethin dollars out of my debit card. I called them every single day, talked to Elias, John, all the managers and they kept giving me the run around telling me they were doing all they could do to correct the situation. Their favorite line to throw at me is "I'm sorry... I totally understand how frusturating the situation can be but theres nothing I can do, is there anything else I can help you with?" I JUST WANTED TO GRAB ALL THE PHONES IN THE STORE AND THROW IT AT THEM. After 2 weeks of not getting my money back I just called my bank and disputed the transaction. They temporarily gave me the credit back and I totally forgot about it (Since I just had my baby). 3 months passed and my bank took back the money. They said that AT&T said the transaction was correct. I called back the store and was furious! I was like this happened 3 months ago and you guys said you'll fix it! What happened?

They told me to come to the store, bring my credit card statements, bank statements. I was like why do I have to do all this when you guys messed up my account! I can't just pick up and drive all the way to your store when I have a child. John being a rude d*** he was told me "Well if you want your money then I don't know what else to tell you". I told him I couldn't take out money from my account because you guys took the money out of it! John said "well you should have more money in your account then, its not my fault how you spend your money" I can't believe what the a****** said to me! THEY TOOK A CHUNK OF MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT AND THEN LECTURED ME ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY I HAD IN MY ACCOUNT? How is that in any way professional? Even after going to the store they still took 3 weeks to credit back my money. They didn't even credit back the entire amount because they said the first time they charged me no tax.

BASICALLY AT&T STOLE $900 from my account and I had to call them and hound them to get it back. After 10000 times calling them, leaving them messages (O yeah... they always say they call you back but they don't) they gave me some of my money back.

Their whole staff was rude, unprofessional and all around HORRIBLE. After syncing my phone and putting all my numbers in there, I didn't even care! I wanted to return it just because of all the hassle they gave me!

I'VE NEVER HAD SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER IN MY LIFE. THIS IS THE WORST COSTUMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND GET UR IPHONE, SMARTPHONE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! THIS STORE NEEDS TO CLOSE DOWN AND ALL THEIR EMPLOYEES/MANAGERS NEED TO BE FIRED AND NEVER WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AGAIN.

I think I just have the worst experience at cellphone stores. But since I refuse to go into the San Bruno one anymore I thought Daly City might be a bit better. Which it was but not by much.

I walk in and was greeted by a nice girl...i wish she would have helped me. But then all of a sudden there are like 4 guys surrounding me waiting for me to go to them to get my iPhone. One guy starts talking to me without introducing himself...i had no idea he was talking to me. I told him what i wanted and he didn't say anything to me until it was time to pay. I felt like a douche bag standing there not knowing what was going on. While he was helping me his other co-workers decided to come up and talk to him about his clothes and his car...WTH?! Can't they see he's helping someone right now and that his clothes in the trunk or the backseat aren't very important right now?! RUDE! The guy finally spoke to me and gives me my phone and that's it! I walked out pretty fast which was nice but with no knowledge of my phone. Luckily I have many friends that have it and a 9 year old nephew that can give me more info then the people at the store.

Worst than the DMV!!!!  Always a line of people waiting and with just a couple of clerks.   I've never seen a place so crowded and so busy all the time.  Service sucks!

** DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE **

After activating my sim card at DC store, I was having trouble with my sim card as I was unable to send out text.  I walked in the store, looked around for 10 minutes with no one greeted me, decided to talk to one of the staffs that was just standing around. He happened to be the manager?! Seriously?! Instead of greeting the customer and asking them if they are can be assisted, this guy was just standing in front of computer and chatting.

Now the manager direct me to one of his associates, the sales associate asked me bunch of standard questions then come back to me couple minutes later and told me THE MANAGER SAID THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ASSIST ME, AND I WILL NEED TO CALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE?! What is the point of having AT&T store if you are not going to assist customer with their technical issues?! plus my sim card was activated at DC store?!

    WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER PERIOD.

I went here 3 times to get a new phone.  They will make you feel  either you can't afford to buy their phone, or they will make you wait forever so you give up and end up leaving.  I tried to like them... but they failed over and over.

I'm not sure what to make of earlier reviews but I had a great experience today. In complete turmoil with my iPhone on the fritz - and we know how desperate that can be - I went here to get my backup phone activated while trying to resuscitate the iPhone.

An associate came right up and greeted me at the door and asked how they could help me. How refreshing! When I told him my dilemma,  he spent a few minutes clearly outlining my options and then got my old phone activated in less than 5 minutes - including offering to copy over my contacts. Took the time to answer all of my questions and was really knowledgeable. Completely turned my day around.

This is the most horrible store in my life..when I was applying for tv and Internet , they were so nice to me..however,their service is so~~~~~fuck..I never used this word before, but I really want to say fuck to them..they promised me for $100 rebate, I haven't got it for 5 months..I called them, visited them more than four times for it,but they said they already sent it to me..what a fuck?? If I got it, why I spent my precious time to call, visit to them? Finally, the manager promised me resent it within this month, but I don't trust them anymore..in addition, I already know I gotta visit them pretty again soon for it...hey AT&T you guys really fuck..plz give my $100 ..

I went into the store for iPhones for my fiancee and myself braced for a tedious and grating experience. I've been a customer of ATT/Cingular for years after all. I was blown away by the great service from the sales associate (Kendra). She was polite, friendly, and most importantly, knowledgeable. She worked as fast as her lethargic computer would let her. Her manager, Romeo, was pleasant and I didn't envy his job in the busy place. Even though the place had quite a few people standing around waiting for service (rush hour I guess) the atmosphere was still pleasant and Kendra didn't seem to be in a frazzled as she moved swiftly about. The store surprised me and I hope this a start of a new trend.

I had a horrible experience with the AT&T Store in Daly City. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.

I was having problems with connectivity where I live so I called AT&T tech support. They told me I needed a new SIMM card (I didn't think I did) but she convinced me to go to the store and get a free SIMM card.

The guy in the store told me my SIMM card was fine but I needed a new phone to get better connectivity. (My phone was not that old ... I had just bought it last year.) I let myself get talked into a new phone (I don't blame AT&T for that) but it didn't make any difference in my connectivity. My main complaint is that when I was buying the phone, I asked if he could "throw something in." He said he could either throw in a case or a headset. I said I would take the case. When all was said and done, he handed me 3 receipts ... 1 receipt was different than the others and it was on top. I figured the others were the same (he said they were duplicates, so I didn't bother to look). Later, when I was going through all my receipts, I noticed that the 3 receipts were different and that he charged me for the case. I went into the store to complain, and was told that the person I needed to talk to was not in but he would call me in a couple days. Never heard from that person, so I called. He basically called me a liar. I am very offended by this accusation. I didn't lie.

I decided to take the case back, get a refund, and buy it elsewhere. When I took back the case I told them I would never do business there again. They probably don't care about one person. But I think if enough of us complain, especially here in a public way on Yelp, maybe someone at AT&T will take notice and things will change.

At least I deserve an apology from AT&T. Why do corporations think they can get away with treating their customers like this?

i went to att couple weeks back to have my razr looked at by a rep. this gentleman by the name of rob helps me the second i walk in and politely introduces himself with a big smile on his face. i then tell him  whats wrong with my phone and he start troubleshooting it right away. he was trying his best to figure out the issue when his coworker (i think his name was igor) filled in and they both solved the issue within minutes. i must say these guys were very polite and knowledgable. also with both of them in a shirt and tie and the service they gave me i felt like a queen.

thank you rob and igor for your help and making my day. i will be back when my upgrade comes and hope one of these guys will be there to assist me.

**************BEWARE****************************** **********************1/4 star for the brand new free blackberry they gave me. how i arrived to that point negative 100 stars. i went to this location to ask about upgrading my phone. they asked for my phone number, punched in my account, blah blah blah. i didn't find anything to my liking, so went home at went online to my account to look at other phones. i realized then that i had these new add on features to my account at additional charges. i call corporate, they told me that it was just added to my account from the store is was in. i explained to them i didn't authorize the add ons, they took them off. i went to the store, yelled at the top of my lungs warning people not to give their phone numbers to these crooks, some rico sauve looking guy ask me what the problem was, blah blah blah, gave me a free hush hush phone, end of story. **********************BEWARE********************** **
