i had a gift card from work and i went here to cash it in, i got  my new IPHONE it took me every bit of a hour to clear the phone and upgrade. they are so high price on things i could not even get a case for my phone, this phone was high as the sky. the person that helped me need  more  training on how to do a upgrade he had  to  talk to 3 other co workers to help him and to be honest they did not know either. this store had wall to wall people and limited amount of help. i left with my new phone with out training on it at  all they told me to come back for a class-REALLY.

    11/27/2011 2 Check-ins Here

We came here to get my mom's new iPhone 4s activated once we got it in the mail. We checked in with the girl armed with an iPad and let her know we had worked with Matt during our last visit. She put our name on the waitlist and made a note for our request for Matt.

About 5 minutes later, Matt approached us and helped us out. He activated her phone and made the number switch (since we used my phone number for my mom's upgrade). He also transfered her numbers from her old phone and set up the iPhone Apple Care+ plan.

We were in and out pretty quickly. Great service, once again! Thanks, Matt!

Seriously the best AT&T store. I had a few issues with my iphone and this store went above & BEYOND to help me out. Long wait to get helped but totally worth it for the better service. Ryan Moylan was a huge help, much appreciated!

Wow, the attitude I experienced here while trying to obtain a discount for being part of a union was atrocious.  Unfortunately the kiosks at Costco cannot process the 10% discount so I was sent here.  After much eye-rolling and irritation with my presence, I pretty much ended up filling out the form at home since the employees couldn't find the appropriate code.  I guess if you're not buying something you aren't worth their time.

I certainly hope never to return!

Customer Service is horrible.  First time there was to get a new phone and a new contract.   They put us on their waiting list when we got in, and after 35 minutes, me and my mom haven't gotten called so we asked them, and they said they called our name half an hour ago but no one answered.  Me and my mom were looking at new phones to upgrade to and never heard our names called.  They have a horrible system, the store is so big and they literally whisper your name.  We had to wait another 10 minutes after that.

We bought our new phones, and you could tell the guy helping us did not have enough sleep the night before as there were bags under his eyes and he kept yawning.  He went to change the sim cards, he accidentally cleared the sim card for the wrong line, my dad's business line in Los Angeles, and that phone was dead since the sim card was up here in Dublin.  Huge consequences to his business with clients not being able to reach his secretary.  We had to overnight mail it down ourselves.   All in All we spent a good 3 hours in the store, wasting our time.

We came back the next day and complained to the manager but he didn't offer any help and spent another 2 hours wasting my life.

Came back a week later as my sisters phone kept freezing, and the manager saw her right when we walked in, but then he left and we waited 30 minutes until another guy asked what was wrong, and then he told us to hold and a third worker came to help us after another 15 minutes.  All the time, 4 or 5 workers were all standing around chatting with each other.

    THIS IS WAS THE WORST:

He finally said we would have to get a new phone for free and he said they didn't have any left in stock and we would have to drive all the way to the san ramon store, or have one mailed to us.   We asked him to call the store for us and he did, and after 5 minutes he hung up, and left and went to the backroom and PULLED OUT AN EXTRA PHONE!  ALL THAT TIME HE COULD HAVE JUST GOTTEN IT FROM THE STORAGE BUT HE TELLS US TO GO TO ANOTHER STORE OR CALL TO GET ONE MAILED IN.  WASTED 20 MINUTES SITTING THERE.

    HORRIBLE SERVICE. Don't come here

Mind you I don't give 1 star reviews lightly.  I have an old Go phone and needed to add more minutes.  It was not working so the system (recording) said to go to a retail store.  I walked into the mall and came across the island first.  I simply explained the problem and was told I need a new SIM card and that it would be $25 TOTAL.  I did ask specifically and was told minutes would be INCLUDED in that price.  I waited as a new person there was helping me.  After setting up a new account with my name, full address, phone number and the like, I was told it would be $50 total.

    $25 for the SIM
    $25 for the $25 card

That it was a package deal and they simply could NOT break it up, it was their only option.  I explained nicely that I was told differently by TWO separate employees that it would be less and this was not right.  This all took a total of 45 minutes of my time to end up with a useless phone and no help at all.

Why would I possibly want to pay $25 for a SIM for a GO PHONE !!!!!!! when I can get a brand new one for $10 !!!!!!  cost of the phone with the minutes they include in that deal.  Have to say I was very disappointed.

"All iPhone upgrades are done via online or at a store location. A manager or assistant manager at a COR store location has the ability to honor an early upgrade when you are 30 days within your eligibility date.  Please note the the exception for the early upgrade is at the discretion of the store. I recommend submitting your request to your local COR store." .... I tried to get what the "discretion" might be on ..... I have been an ATT customer for  over 5 yrs and have been paying my bills regularly .... hence expected a polite chat with the store representative ... the store not only refused the free upgrade (they wanted me to pay $200 extra for a 13 day early upgrade)  but they do not seem to have a gist of politeness. Now I too am eagerly waiting for Verizon to come with the iPhone.

Absolutely POOR! They didn't exchange my 5-day old dead iphone. The most unintelligent guy there (James - and there is not last name on their badges, now i know why) said they don't do exchanges of iphones. I told them it's within 30-day return period as well. He said "we'll exchange it if you didn't like it, but  because it's a warranty issue, we will not".

I said "you are basically saying screw the customer if it's a dead phone and that too 5-day old" and he had the atrocity to say "yes"

    No logic whatsover!!!

On the other hand, I went to the Apple store (my first time). The associates there were courteous and knowledgeable. I was in and out in few minutes.

Ok, so it's been 7 months since the last review, and yeah, they're still rude. Went in to get a new SIM card a couple days ago, and two employees were at the front door chatting. I stood there for a few seconds thinking they would stop to ask me what I needed...NOT! Mind you, I had a baby in a stroller, so I wasn't entirely invisible toting all this gear. I interrupted them, and like another poster mentioned, they seemed annoyed. Told them I needed a new card and we all proceed to the register. After a few minutes into the transaction, they began to whisper under their breath about how they felt about the way that I speak...like I can't hear something whispered 5 feet in front of me. (Hey, my grandma is from the South and it rubbed off on me some...sue me! I've been told it's sexy, but I guess they didn't get the memo.)  Anyway, I just ignored it because I was ready to get the heck out of there. Needless to say, I will not be going back. Where is the next nearest AT&T store anyway?

OMG- worst customer service I've ever experienced. We walked in to add two lines to our existing account.  We figured they'd be happy to gain new business.  We had been looking at phones for like 10 minutes and no one approached us, the reps were just standing around talking to each other.  One rep and his manager did 'look' our way, but didn't say anything.  We approached the girl at the counter, but she was just a cashier person.  She called the rep that looked at us and he started helping us.  He was very rude and had not a single friendly bone in his body.   Every question we asked him he responded with a snoot.  We got our original plan at Walmart, and they were wonderful, but we went to AT&T to see their bigger selection.  When we mentioned the great service we got at Walmart and how great their pricing was, he just said "I don't know, I've never worked at Walmart."  When we were about to pay, he tagged on a ridiculous charge which would have doubled the cost that we had paid for the same phone we bought earlier.  So we just told him to cancel everything and walked out.  Too bad the girl that helped us at Walmart that same night didn't get commission.  She did everything to make sure we got exactly what we wanted AND at the price listed.  That AT&T location needs to to some re-organization and hire some real cusomter service reps that know how to treat their customers.  We will NEVER go there again and we'll make sure none of our friends go their either.... they were just AWFUL!!
