I was here with Tracy B. a while ago, on a really hot and sunny weekend afternoon. Luckily, we had seats right behind first base, which was nicely shaded. AT&T Park is brand spankin new, or at least feels that way. Everything seems to be well organized, there are vendors everywhere. The whole park is easily accessed.
On to the snacks. Ball parks are notorious for charging an arm and a leg for their snacks, and AT&T Park isn't any different. What is cool is that they offer veggie dogs, which is pretty progressive for baseball food, but I guess this is San Francisco. I was starving so I had a tofu hotdog, which was pretty awful. The guy behind the counter handed it to me immediately, pre-wrapped, I think it was about five dollars just for the dog. Biting into it, the dog was lukewarm. I asked for a glass of water and the counter guy was going to make me buy a beverage, but I guess he felt bad for me and got me a cup of water from the tap. I sampled some of Tracy's friend's garlic fries, which were pretty tasty but seemed like they just unloaded pounds of chopped garlic on top. A little excessive, but then again it was my first time trying the garlicky San Francisco treat.
All around, we had a great day at the ball park. The Giants were losing pretty badly that day, and after the seventh inning we decided they weren't going to make a comeback.
I love this park. I've been to over a dozen MLB parks and this is in my top 4. About the only thing the 3 that have it beat have over it is history, but I'm hopeful that a lot of history will be made here.
I have just finished enjoying the fireworks show over this AT&T park from my window.
I love fireworks and AT&T park has at least more than four times a year.
Of course, attending baseball game is as important as attending S.F. Opera but THIS IS AMERICA!
Being at AT&T Park is wonderful in every way.
Everything is amazing to me.
People, food, ball park itself and freezing summer nights.
Especially, I love to see some of my friends smiling with the pieces of parsley between their teeth and love to sense their killer South of Morgan Hill breath, then I notice that the only way to fight back their breath is to have more fries than they do. So usually, I end up having two servings of fries. They are good.
Anyways, "Go Giants!"
The subzero temperature, freezing wind (right next to the bay), and mile-high food prices made me subtract 2 stars.
The Cubs had a series in SF the last weekend of September and being the Cubs fangirls that we are Ryen H., Danita B. and I booked a trip to SF and caught a game (don't look at me like that. What? You don't buy airplane tickets, game tickets and make hotel reservations for your favorite baseball team?) on a Saturday. AT&T park is absolutely beautiful. The ballpark was clearly constructed with a lot of thought and care for the Giants organization.
I am so jealous of their memorabilia store! I wish Wrigley had that much selection going on. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of diet pepsi in place of coke (Wrigley spoils me in that aspect, what can I say?), but oh hey, garlic fries!
A great ballpark AND a Cubs win? I couldn't have asked for more. I'd say this is my second favorite ballpark (I'm sure you can guess what my first is). Oh! And I really want to get a Lou Seal.
First of all I am a big SF GIANTS fan. This past season I went to over 15 games (I'm not a season ticket holder either!). This park is REALLY nice. Looks 10 times better than Candlestick. Its in a GREAT location. I don't drive but public transit gets you here pretty fast. Great weather around the ballpark. Usually sunny during the afternoon games and chilly during the night games.
Of course outside the park you got your annoying scalpers and a few homeless people asking you for money. Inside is really nice, food is awesome. If your there you got to get some garlic fries! But overall I LOVE AT&T Park! Go Giants!
Wow, talk about an amazing baseball stadium! After checking out a Gigantes game last week, I couldn't help think of what Petco Park in San Diego could have been. It's a damn shame!
While large enough to accommodate tens of thousands of fans, it's intimate enough to feel like you're right on top of the action. Whether it's in the outfield bleachers or the upper deck, there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Sure, there are better areas to view the action than others... but bad? No way.
Love all of the different food options as well. Not feeling the standard hot dog/nachos routine? No big thing: try the Gilroy garlic fries, sushi, sausages, candied almonds and more. While still ballpark food, they make an effort to capture the essence of the city within the stadium grounds, which is more than a lot of facilities like this try to pull off.
I'm admittedly not a huge Giants fan (since my Padres had to endure the wrath of Barry Bonds for so many years), but I'm willing to become a fan if it means I get to catch the action at AT&T Park. Truly a remarkable place to watch America's pastime.
This would be the greatest place on earth if it had football. But the stadium is in a great location and comfortable to be in [in good weather]. You will bake under the sun in the summertime, and probably freeze your butt off in the spring.
But this place is certainly a good time out.
This place is great. I have gone 4-5 times since it opened through work in one of the luxury suites. They are fantastic. The only problem is if you want real ballpark food you have a ways to travel. The food they provide is damn good though. It's nice to be able to sit inside during on a cold SF night. When I have not sat there it's to the first base side near the bullpen when my Dodgers are in town. Great place to watch a game. Typical prices for everything. BART and Muni make it real easy to get to the stadium and avoid the hassle of trying to park. I can't give a park 5 stars anywhere just because prices are getting crazy, no matter where you watch a game.
I am a San Francisco Giants Fan for Life!!!
Great things about AT&T Park:
+SF Giants
+Great Location by the Bay(Right off Embarcadero)
+Beautifully constructed stadium
+Right field and McCovey Cove
+A Great Baseball Experience
+Watched Barry Bonds Slam a Homer!!(priceless)
+Wireless internet(to access Yelp for dinner recommendations!! lol = ) )
+A excellent way to spend your summer evenings!
+Gordon Biersch Beer & Garlic Fries!!!(a must have beside breathing air!!!)
Rating: 10/10
GOOOO GIANTS!! WHOOP WHOOP!!!
I love San Francisco, which means I love the Giants. I'll admit, I'm not a HUGE baseball fan- it's a bit slow for me and I prefer to go to the Warrior games any day in Oaktown but every once in a while someone throws a free ticket to go to Pac Bell, I mean AT&T park.
And, what's baseball without hot dogs, nachos and beer? It's kinda sad, though, when I can remember the nachos at 7-11 tasting better than the nachos they were serving at the Park yesterday when I watched the Giants get beat by the Cubs (sigh...). Dogs were good. Beer is, well.... Beer.
And, the 4 stars is mainly b/c parking here is a BITCH. I even had a parking permit for Lot A and I still got there during the 4th inning after leaving at 6:30pm from San Rafael.
I'm taking the Ferry next time- No exceptions. And, I'm gonna do the BYOCW - Bring Your Own Cheese Whiz thing by shoving some jalepeno cheese dip in my coat b4 I go in.
The most amazing stadium ever! I dont think there is a single bad seat, and the view is just awesome right by the ocean! garlic fries YUM YUM, expensive brewskies......., and the most awesome fans! Where can you find all that in a stadium!
PARKING! Screw parking lot A or C, it was $20 dollars to park.. 4#%@#$%@$#%@#$%$#% most expensive than my ticket. Advice: if you not currently living in SF, do your self a favor, and take the CAL TRAIN!
Even with crappy parking, I still give this place 5 stars because I love giants! and i love my city!!!
GOO GIANTS!!!
on the side note: SOME PARKING GARAGES CLOSES AT 12! and screw those parking garages....
Great baseball stadium!!
I love how the stadium is on the bay.
Beautiful scenic view. Even people who don't enjoy baseball very much, would enjoy the experience at AT&T Park.
You can get tickets for pretty cheap!! If only beer wasn't so expensive at ball parks :(
The garlic fries are SO good!! (maybe a little too much garlic, but still good!)
A beautiful view of the bay
Take me out to the ball game!!
&
Then buy me some garlic fries! :)

Poor Giants got slaughtered by Dodgers this evening.
I've been to 2 games in the last month (afternoon and evening)! And both times I've sat in the 320 something section. Nice view all around!
Afternoon game bring:
- Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, lunch, snacks, unopened non-alcoholic plastic bottled beverages
Evening game bring:
- Warm clothes, dinner, snacks, unopened non-alcoholic plastic bottled beverages
Don't bring:
- Cans, glass bottles, alcohol, half opened drinks, nalgene/siggs, etc. You can get by if you are lucky, but don't count on it! And if you're going for a friend's birthday, don't give them a bottle of wine as a gift, security will confiscate it (because that's what happened to me).
This evening I was able to get tickets from one of the non-profit organizations that I volunteer for! Yay!! I hope to go again next year! It was a lot of fun just to hang out with friends and watch a game in person! I really want to try the garlic fries that people keep raving about, too!
I fit fine in the seats, but if I'm sitting next to someone a bit bigger than me, then I feel like a sardine!! =\ ehhhh
Go green take: Caltrain, Muni #10, 45, N, T
Pregame @ 21st Amendment... watermelon wheat beer $6 :)

I am at AT&T park right now (9/12 @ 6:30pm)! Where are you?!?
LA vs SF
woot woot!! Go LA... I mean beat LA :D
It's vicious right now! Silly baseball fanatics!
This is the bougiest stadium I've been to. Sailboats in the backyard? Wow.
Anyway, loved the place! Beautiful, great in the evening. I bet a day game would be awesome too.
But I gotta say, Oakland's got way better ballpark food!
Day game or night game, this Baseball park is amazing!
For someone that gets upper reserved seats often, I can honestly say there's not bad seat in the house. Even if you feel that your too high up, feel free to walk around the park and admire the phenomenal views surrounding the park. I usually hangout at the bleachers after the 7th inning to hangout with more hardcore fans.
You can bring in your own food and closed plastic bottles if you don't feel like spending ballpark prices for food.
But, if you couldn't make it out to the Safeway a block away before the game, here are some popular food stops I wouldn't hesitate to return to:
-California Cookout (View Level Sec. 314 and Promenade Level Sec. 103 at O'Doul Gate)- Huge kielbasa polish dogs with sauerkraut and grilled onions/peppers for $6.95
-Crazy Crab Wharf (Promenade Level Upper Center Field) Fresh crab sandwiches for a pricey $15
-King Street Carvery (View Level Sec. 314) Very good pulled pork sandwiches with coleslaw for $9.95
-Emerald Nuts (Lower Level Sec. 130 and Lower Level Willie Mays Plaza/Gate) Warm cinnamon roasted almonds for $5.95
-Gilroy Garlic Fry (Promenade Level Sec. 103, 118, 130
View Level Sec. 311, 323, 331, Field Level Lower Center Field)- A Giants game MUST!
AT &T Park (or "Pac Bell" as we will always call it) is awesome. All seats are good and if you can get them off of http://craigslist.com or another web site they aren't that expensive. The whole experience at the ball park in the embarcadero area is really enjoyable. We particuarly enjoyed going to "Dog Days of Summer" with Rookie this last August. As many ball park goes, the prices are expensive, costing about $8 for a beer and abour $7 for a hot dog. The closest parking ranges from $25 to $50. If you can, take BART or the Muni train or better yet walk down the Embaradero. Go Giants! Deb G., Benicia
Fun Fun Fun. Nothing like a day at the ball park. Great Labor Day game. 9-4 Giants over Padres. People watching. Food sniffing. Beer chugging. Sun baking. Boats arriving. Sitting in the 320 section is great. The price is right(21each) and you can see it all. You are just left of home plate. Lots of boats and kayaks in McCovy Cove today. GO GIANTS !!!
Don't forget your sunblock.
I came to watch my beloved Cubs play the Giants a couple weeks ago. It's probably one of the scenic stadiums I've been to. It was pretty easy to navigate and all the vendors were pretty friendly. Everything is expensive, but that's expected. I did get a huge ice cream for 5 bucks. Probably like 4 scoops no joke!
Definitely see a game here. It's some of the most beautiful views of the bay!
Great place to spend the afternoon! :) Even better when you have great seats, right by third base.
But I must say the hot dog was disappointing. Would have hoped for a bit more for how much I had to pay. A wimpy dog with bland peppers/onions on top. But the garlic fries and shredded chicken nachos were yummy. I know this is ghetto but I would recommend bringing your own bottle of Tabasco sauce to mix with the ketchup for your dog and fries. Seriously.
Oh yeah! I almost forgot. When Pablo Sandoval came up to bat they busted out with Pitbull's "I Know You Want Me" and I was like "OMG...that is so racist!" But rest assured...each player gets to pick their own batting song...pretty cool. Yes, I'm a dork.
The food and beer might be expensive, but there's absolutely no way you can go wrong with this stadium. I've caught over 40 games here, and sat in sections all over the park. There's not a bad seat in this place, you get a commanding view of the whole field in all 42,000+ chairs. Plus, even when the stadium is sold out, it takes absolutely no time to leave this stadium, the exits are large enough to get everyone out quickly.
There's also a great selection of beer and food all over this place, you can find something new to eat or drink at every home game. Easily one of the best ballparks in the nation!
So one evening during a date, the boyfriend and I were talking about sports. How he loves sports and I....don't. How one of his favorite sports is baseball and mine......isn't. How he would always watch a baseball game and how I would just flip the channel to Food Network.
He asked me if I would go to a baseball game with him. Having no desire to see my least favorite sport up close and in action, I made a face and said, "maybe". Killing words, I know but it's my least favorite sport! I'd rather watch curling than baseball!
Little did I know that going to a baseball game involves friends who are willing to drink a lot, nachos, garlic fries, and more alcohol. So in effort to expand my horizon and make the boy happy, I approached my girls, Janette W & Kelly T, with the idea of going to a game. They agreed and plans were made.
So now I've been schooled how to pre-party properly on my first CalTrains before the game and the unofficial rules at a ballpark. I was more fascinated by the all the customs (like the 7th inning stretch, not going to your seat when someone's batting, etc.) than I was with the game.
But it was a good experience and SF Giants beat the LA Dodgers right before the skies opened up and rained on all of us.
The stadium is really nice. Walking around the 2nd level, I really liked the kids' section and the cable car. Sitting up in the nosebleed area, I had a beautiful view of the bay and the boats nearby. There isn't a really bad seat at the stadium and it was pretty much sold out.
Now that my baseball cherry is popped, I wouldn't be too opposed to going to another game, as long as I go with the right group.
ATT Park is the greatest... in reality, EVERY SEAT in the house is pretty good... If you watch the games and listen to kuiper and krukow- they always talk about how to get bleacher seats for 50% of face value....
the CLUB LEVEL IS AWESOME! I've been to about 10 of the stadiums in the USA, and this one beats it by far. This is one of the reasons I love being from the city!
I've been to quite a few professional baseball stadiums in my time (including all those in California), and I left my heart in San Francisco.
From the scenic view, the descending fog at dusk, the ball-catching canoers, the big Coco-Cola bottle/slide for the kiddies, and fireworks, and best of all, the Giants themselves!... this park has a nostalgic yet modern feel about it that is extremely family friendly and nothing but charming.
The main downsides include A.) crappy parking - you are better off taking the Bart to either Embarcadero or Montgomery and walking/taking the cable car from there; B.) it gets DAMN COLD ALL YEAR ROUND. If you are visiting from out of town and think you are coming to sunny California, you have another thing coming! Make sure you pack gloves, a sweater, and a blanket. Really.
I can't hate on the place, though, because I really do believe it's the cleanest, most nostalgic, and most family friendly stadium in the state. Just make sure you watch for those pick pocketers on your way out ;)
While visiting San Francisco, husband and I decided to go to a Cubs/Giants game (Go Cubs!).
What more can I add to 700+ reviews? This is a new-ish park that left me very impressed. The stadium is clean and the food options are immense. Husband and I tried the very recommended garlic fries and were very unimpressed. Not sure what the whole fuss is about.
this place is beautiful.
we came here in 2007 for their last homestand of the season. as it turns out, barry bonds last game too.
to repeat, this place is beautiful. we scored and had amazing weather. we wandered around checking the place out, they had every food and drink you could imagine. we got seats in right field for the 1st game and the bleachers for the second. amazing veiws. what a great place to see a game. they even have a guy selling hot chocolate out of a insulated backpack. groovy.
the loss of a star is for the fans. we rode 13 hours one way on the train/bus to get there and see peavy pitch one more time and i am sporting my padres gear proudly. and some ignorant dunk chick wants to talk trash. it's cool, i can politely tell her you are 13 games out of 1st and we are playoff bound. (hey guys, i said it was 2007).
I never knew how spoiled I was with AT&T Park, until I went to an A's game. That's when I realized not all ballparks are created equal.
AT&T park is great for so many reasons.
1. Cal Train drops you off about 2 blocks away from the front of the stadium.
2. Entrance is a breeze. There was no long line, etc.
3. You're allowed to bring your own food in. We were even able to bring in wine! Oh wait....nevermind, I drank all that on CalTrain on the way up. :(
4. The view of the bay is amazing. :)
5. There's so many places to walk around and things to see and do if you get tired of watching the game.
6. The people aren't ghetto. :)
7. The surrounding area is great, for pregame or postgame SF tourism.
-1 star for the overly salty garlic fries and cheap wine. :( I'm still nursing a hangover today.
Lucky for me I love the Giants! Because it would suck if I loved the A's and had to go there for my home ballpark. A great way for the whole family to enjoy a nice sunny Sunday in SF!
This is the best park in all of MLB...
Cozy, great views, great architecture.
As a bonus: buy your tickets on stub hub on the day of the game to get hooked up!! Or go to the final games of the season when the Giants have failed to get into postseason.
3rd row behind 1st base $13.99 I'll take it, even if it means I have to watch freddy lewis swing a bat!
Not only do we get to live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, but we also get the best ballpark in the country. Yeah, I said it. And here's why.
BoSox fans: We don't need a dumb green wall
NYY: Your stadium is 2 days old
Phillies: You still my boys, but Philly is boring. And your stadium is in a giant parking lot
Tampa Bay: bite me
St Louis: Pujols's homeruns would look prettier here
Twins: do you still exist?
Dodgers: we overlook piers, a bay and mountains; you will collapse and fall into a canyon where you will be eaten by contestants from Charm School
Mariners: simliar to your cousin, you'll probably move to Oklahoma and disappear for all of eternity
Since my last review of the LA Dodgers my San Francisco yelp friends have been encouraging me to check out AT&T Park. Finally, one generous yelper gave me a ticket as a tactic to convert me into a Giants fan. It was a thoughtful and laughable gesture, but I went anyway because the Dodgers are currently in town. Woohoo!
It was initially kinda confusing to see an abundance of Giants fans holding posters and signs dismissing Dodger Blue in their bluest jeans, but I must admit, the sight of the park was gorgeous. The modern red brick stadium donned in plenty of neon lights with an open view of a very impressive jumbotron and McCovey Cove. The stadium was breathtaking and spectacular.
My team led early in what became a 4-2 victory with good pitching, solid defense, and timely hitting. The execution could not have been better with Broxton closing it out. Tonight, the team didn't even need me there, an easy 9-1 victory at the beautiful AT&T Park.
I thought service was a bit inconsistent as we were initially misdirected by the gate agent to the bleachers and later the upper deck. At $30 for a discounted upper deck ticket, the cost was four times more than what I usually pay at Chavez Ravine. Despite experiencing difficulties navigating the ball park, eating a turkey jerky burger, noticing a fight that took place at the bleachers, and dealing with food stands that did not accept credit cards, it was still a great ballgame. The biggest laughter came when I asked for a lid for my diet coke and the cashier replied, "we don't give lids so this way we don't have to give out any straws either." Hahahaha...none other than AT&T as fans spilled their drinks with each step they took to their seats. Classic, but do they know that they're paying more for less on and off the field?
Four stars for the experience and the level of accessibility via public transportation didn't hurt either.
Semi biased but not really...lets face it, this is a place where you would want to play or watch a game! The food (sans the hamburger I ordered back in the day) is good and there are lots of other things to keep your mind busy if the hometown team is losing. Views of the bay combined with when the Giants are winning = a rocking place that's a lot of fun!
Down sides? Parking is $30, it can get cold, and Giants have no offense this yr. Maybe that should lower this to a 4.50 star, but still deciding to round up. =)
The best time to watch a baseball game is to watch rivalries and when the Giants play the Dodgers it is the Orange & Black vs. the Blue. Yes we are talking The Dodgers with Manny Ramirez (former Red Sox and steroid user) taking on the local faves the Giants at AT&T Park (formerly SBC park)
Lets talk about the stadium. Lots of brick and lots of accolades in the form of plaques and statues of former greats such as Mays, McCovey, Cepeda and Marachal. The seats are great from any angle, the views are truly San Francisco at it's best. Going to a night game their is a good possibility that the fog will roll in so please bring warm clothing. Your Giants jersey will not keep you warm.
Eats:
1. Garlic fries from the boys at Gordon Biersch. Crispy deep fried with lots of garlic
2. The hot dogs are good, the bratwurst better.
3. Large selection of pizza and different sandwiches.
3. They have peanuts but better yet they have sunflower seeds aka spits. Perfect for any baseball game.
4. Cotton candy, popcorn and churros
Drinks:
1. Domestic beers and foreign beers (can you say Anchor steam beer)
2. Mixed drinks (no latrine time-outs)
3. Typical choices of water and soda (no vitamin water...hmm).
4. Coffee and hot chocolate with whip cream
The stadium offers different ramps and escalators for you to escape in case the Giants are getting waxed by there nemisis in the western division. Practice your singing because they have sing-alongs...Dean Martin's Amore during the later innings. If you decide to bring the kids, they have set up a mini ball park for them to play and other activities. Now thats a stadium.
And here I thought the Red Sox vs. Yankee / Cross Town Classic rivalries were insane. The Giants fans of San Francisco surely H A T E their southern state rivals, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
During a trip out to San Francisco, I was approached by my cousin as to whether I wanted to visit AT&T Park to check out the rivalry. Needless to say, the answer was a definite yes!
Since almost any and everything has been said about AT&T Park, let's just throw a few notes into the mix...
- There's a reason why wedding photos are often shot here, the grounds of AT&T Park is majestic. From the back of the stadium, a beautiful sunset view of the water can be seek. The tranquil and soothing feel, that's accompanied by the occasional alleviating breeze, fully allows patrons to appreciate this aspect of the park.
- Centerfield, Ground Level... Patrons can view the game behind a gate enclosed at ground level. It's worth seeing during pre-game warm ups, but you want to be in the stadium during the start of the game
- The massive Coca-Cola Bottle... I have no shame. I went down the slide along with the other 5 year olds. Why? Because it's FUN!
- Like the other tourists, take a moment and check out the cable car. This is one that's never occupied by others, mainly because it's not operational
- The park itself is modern and upscale. Compared to the rustic / majestic parks, AT&T caters to the masses by providing a modern day facility, while embodying the country's national pastime.
- Say Hey Stands: Italian Sausage, Grilled Peppers & Onions, Marinara... What more do you need? The sandwich was perfectly sized with an abundance of sausage. The roll held up nicely as it was hard enough to absorb the Marinara but not enough for it to fall apart.
- For LA Dodger fans, do NOT sit in the Bleachers. I saw about 7 of you get into fights and escorted out during the game. When will you learn?
An overall great experience! AT&T Park is one of those truly memorable places. Hopefully a return trip will be had during a future date.
We bought peanuts and cracker jacks
and we cared as the Giants got back
and swept the Rockies, 9-5
The crowd came alive
With Renteria's grand slam
No eggs, bacon or ham
And took us to new heights
What an amazing sight and delight!
And grand slam kudos to StubHub for some fantastic seats, Lower Box 117, row 29. Woo hoo!
Here's to cool nephews and Sunday afternoon baseball games. :)

The stadium was all hype, and didn't deliver. For the ticket prices, I'd expect more.
Bleachers suck, specifically section 137. They heckled my 8 year old nephew, are you kidding me?!? He's 8, he's from L.A., he was on vacation, he likes baseball, all he wanted to do was root for his home team. He loves ALL cali teams, what the hell.
There were random squatters everywhere. A group of people were in our seats when we were first arrived, and I told them, you're sitting in our seats. The girl gets up and asks me, with attitude, "how many people do you have"? I'm looking at her and thinking, what the hell, you're sitting in OUR seats and you're giving US attitude. I don't think so bitch. I respond to her and say, "we have enough, please move ok".
The drunkest idiots were behind us, spilling beer all over the place, and yelling obscene homophobic and sexist comments.
I'll root for the Giants over the Dodgers, any day of the week, but I'll choose the Oakland A's over the Giants all day, any day. Let's go OAKLAND!!
AT&T Park gets three stars. I am a LA kid, so you shouldn't expect a great rating. But before you dismiss my review as trash, hear me out.
I've now been to AT&T Park twice. Each time my sister's husband was able to get tickets for his company's suite. The first game was in 2007 against the Washington Nationals - the night Bonds surpassed Hank Aaron as the all-time home run leader. The second game didn't come till this year against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Here's the run down of what I ordered:
-spicy chili dog
-garlic fries
-chicken tenders (w/ regular fries)
-bud light
Total cost: $32
There's just something about ball park food that makes you hungry. Okay, maybe just me. Did I order way too much? Yes. Was I upset about wasting food? No. Considering that we got in free, I can't complain about the prices. Heck, that's almost the cost of parking ... except I went the BART + MUNI route so I saved some coin there.
On the day we came earlier this year, there were several wineries offering tastings on the suite level. It was nice to drink up during pre-game so we didn't have to go wild on the beer during the game.
I was sorely disappointed to find that AT&T 3G service is uber slow at the park. However, there is free AT&T wifi available - at least for AT&T iPhones. Nice save, AT&T.
My only (major) gripe with AT&T Park is that the suite level is poorly enforced. Once you show your tickets at the elevator or stairs, it seems like you can pretty much go into whatever suite you want. There's no need to scan your ticket to open a suite door because all of them are open! Yes, you can tell people to leave, but they really shouldn't even be able to get into your suite in the first place. Who's to say they haven't consumed any of your suite's food or alcohol already. Yes, you can call security to escort out unwanted guests, but you'll never be able to find someone to help.
All things considered, the ball park is nice. But would you really expect anything else from a stadium only 9 years old?
Best ballpark everrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Whatever seats you get, you'll be fine with, because you get to watch the Giants.
Lincecum and Cain are totally in this, and Zito is starting to up his game. Sanchez isn't half bad, either.
Buy some garlic fries, get a blanket, and sit through a night game with some friends. Do this with a date and you instantly win brownie points, even with garlic breath.
Baseball.
Giants.
Beer.
Fans.
Garlic Fries.
Best seats anywhere
View of the Bay.
Enough said.
Go Giants!
