Excellent and very professional framing. The guy who does the framing is very honest and down to earth. Two of the three times I've come here I've seen him working behind the counter. He comes up from his basement frame shop to take care of the customers himself. He does a really good job, and has a great selection of frames. He also throws in a couple small hanging supplies. Nice touch, and not something that I expected.
His prices aren't the cheapest- but his matting and framing are worth it. Don't come here to save money, come here because you want the job done right.

Really?
This guy's prices are way too high and following directions for him seems to be a challenge. He framed 2 degrees for me, and I had to return 3 times to get it right. The first time, he cut off the name of the university. The second time, there was no backing. The final straw for me was when I brought it in a third time and the frame was broken. Each time, he assured me it would be fine. And it never was. Nice work, guy. Perhaps you're in the wrong business? I just needed a frame, that's all. Is this not "Astoria Art & Framing"? What do you do, then?
Astoria shows its true colors the longer you live here- the intrinsic tackiness and cheapness shows in the quality of services you can get around here. Stick around longer, Aaron. You'll see.
