I've worked with Carol for years. Never occurred to me they were on yelp since I mostly think of restaurants. They serve me and my clients, they have had to contend with all kinds of schedule changes and things, and its always been wonderful. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about them. Ok wait..... Nope. Nothin.

AWC did a great job on cleaning our gutters. The crew was lead by the owners son, Joe. Not only did they remove the debris from the gutters, they made sure the downspouts were clear and fuctioning and washed down the house and patio areas below where some debis had spattered. The property was left spotless. They were great about working around the planted areas and nothing was broken during their work. I use AWC for my own property and refer them to my family, friends and clients.

We picked AWC based upon reviews here. It was a treat to talk to Carol on the phone. It is nice to deal with a family-owned and operated business where you are dealing with everyone who is vested in the business and truly care about what they do. We had some issues at first getting an appointment set that would work on both ends, but once that was sorted, everything was super-smooth.
They came out and actually arrived about 15 minutes early, which is refreshing to see from a service company. They came in, went through the process with us so that we knew what was happening, and immediately jumped into cleaning our heating ducts. After about an hour, one of the guys comes down and hands us about $8 in change he found behind the air return vent! Apparently a previous resident thought it would make an excellent piggy-bank!
Now, the plot thickens. Heating duct cleaning was secondary to why we called AWC. What we really needed was to determine if our clothes dryer vent was the cause of our non-dry clothes. When they finished the heating ducts, they started on the dryer vent from inside. No problem, so they went up onto the roof to get the other end.
After about five minutes, they come back to me with a large chunk of corroded, brittle aluminum flex. They tell us that the entire upper part of the vent is disintegrating, and looks like a fur coat inside! They tell us there is nothing they can do with it, because of the condition of the vent, but give us cards of two different repair companies they have worked with.
Overall, they were friendly, fast, clean and honest. They could have acted like they cleaned it and left us in worse shape than we started, but they not only told us the problem, they took us to the roof to see how bad it was, and then provided recommendations to help get it fixed! -

I heard Ron speak at a meeting about how he had a mom who called up his office and wanted to know if they could clean out the air ducts in her house because her two little boys had asthma. When he told the story about how the mom called him after, thanking him so much because her children's asthma had totally been reduced I was moved and inspired.
I have had asthma since I was a little kid with horrible allergies, and I now have a three year old girl and a five year old boy. Both of my kids have bad allergies symptoms but when the doctor did allergy testing on them they came out negative. So that when it hit me, the ducts in my house have probably NEVER been cleaned out! I called Ron and they set up an appointment, and god knows how much crap they pulled out of those vents. Since then, the constant and chronic sneezing, runny nose and glossy eyes have gone away. It's amazing. I have spent thousands on HEPA filters and everything else the allergy doctor recommends but he never recommended this! If you have allergies or someone in your house does. Please have this done. -

Never thought I'd be so happy to be able to do laundry at home. We discovered our dryer vent was quite clogged (fire hazard!) after getting our dryer repaired. After another duct cleaning company arrived yesterday and failed to bring a high enough ladder to clean our dryer duct, we called Associated Window Cleaning to do the job. Two guys arrived with the right equipment and was able to clear out the duct in less than an hour. Very polite, meticulous and helpful guys. They put the dryer back perfectly when they finished and also helped me put the closet door back on tract - which is good because I probably would have screwed it up somehow. I'll have to remember to call these guys to do the rest of the air ducts and the windows sometime when the economy gets better and I have extra cash. (Extra cash - yeah, like that's gonna happen - HA!)

very friendly family owned and operated business, been around for a long time with a fleet of 4-5 vans....have been doing our windows for years. If you are looking for an honest trustworthy reliable friendly window cleaning to do your home or business windows, they are good for the job.
they also do gutter cleaning, air duct cleaning, and power washing / cleaning. -

This was an ok service. After they lost our estimate, I called again and service was set up for 2nd story bay window cleaning inside and out. Carol (on the phone) was very apologetic and professional.
They came today.
The windows look fantastic, but the screens looked untouched and still grungy (screens and tracks are "included" in the estimate). I pointed out the screens and tracks, and he improved them a little, but they were still filthy. We cleaned them ourselves after he left. We paid the entire estimate, but I'm thinking we shouldn't have. Again, windows great, screens/tracks, not so great. -

AWC delivers!!
After having major sinus surgery, I needed to drastically improve my home's air quality. We've lived in our 60 year old house for over 6 years and have never had our ducts cleaned, I don't think they've ever been cleaned! AWC's prices were very competitive and being a small business owner myself, I prefer to patronize similar business'. Ron, along with 2 great workers came and immediately got to work! Just as I suspected, our ducts were very dirty, especially our cold air intake (s/p?), which was completely blocked. Some vents had to get cleaned several times and one extra vacuum, just to be sure! They even cleaned our register covers, which in my opinion isn't part of their job! Tony, who performed majority of the cleaning process was extremely thorough and very nice. I felt horrible, as he got completely filthy during the cleaning process - but he just commented, "it's all part of the job!" I would hire AWC again in a heart beat. My heating system is 100% more efficient and the difference in the temperature and performance is noticeably better! I highly recommend that you get your ducts cleaned by AWC! -

LOVED this company! I needed the air ducts cleaned after having several months of itchy, dry skin and trying everything else under the sun. They gave me a one hour window when I made the appointment (Coit makes you wait until the day before your appointment to give you a time four hour time slot - who can plan around that?) They came exactly when they said they would come, did exactly what they said they would do, and for the exact price that they quoted me over the phone. I also needed a few windows cleaned - they did it right then for a very reasonable cost. I will definitely use them again!

My windows hadn't been cleaned for ... well, too embarrassing to say! The price was quite good (even less than a "solo" who probably doesn't carry insurance). The three workers got the project done efficiently, and the team leader seemed quite knowledgeable about working around components of our alarm system (and the need to test it after the job was finished). They were also undaunted by the amazing level of filth between some windows and screens where no one had cleaned in ... eons. Found them here: thanks, Yelpers. (And I only write reviews when I am VERY happy or VERY unhappy.)

We could not be more satisfied with AWC!! We had a bad odor coming out of the vents so we called them. They came out right away and properly cleaned out all of the air vents. Unfortunately the odor was still there... so those guys went to our crawl space underneath the house "3 times" to find the source of the odor. Finally they found it and removed the "cause". :-) We are extremely happy with them and will use them again for other services as well. They were efficient, pleasant, and cleaned up after themselves. We highly recommend AWC! BTW, they never tried to sell us *anything* else! They are more expensive than others, but it's well worth it!

Just had these guys clean and sanitize air ducts for 3 separate units. They were good, thorough, polite and did little "extras" -- all for a very good price--much better than COIT. They are a family owned business. Would highly recommend them and have already referred them to two other people.

We recently had new windows installed. What the Replacement Window companies don't tell you is that the windows will have finger prints and smudges on them when they are done.
I can understand that the windows aren't clean when they are installed, and also that the installers don't clean windows.
What they should do, is tell you that the windows will need to be cleaned, and that you should schedule AWC to come over right after the install is finished.
I finally called AWC, and now all my windows are new AND sparkling clean!
AWC had the best price, and good service. I will use them again. -

We have big windows with some nice views, but it's not so nice when the windows are all grungy. Carol is responsive and helpful getting things set up, and Ron and the crew were great at getting over to do the estimate, then making time for us to get the windows cleaned - even the times when I called last minute (suddenly Thanksgiving was moved to our house!). Great value, great service.

We had AWC clean our window and gutters. They had crew come by on a cold and blustry day in Millbrae and finished the job in just a couple of hours. Very happy with the service and professionalism. Will definitely be using them again in the future. Thanks Ron and Carol!
