As an attorney myself, I have learned over time how to tell the good ones from the not so good ones. Patrick Phancao is definitely one of the good ones.
Being part of the same BNI chapter as Patrick I have had the opportunity to learn much about his experience, character, and philosophy on the practice of law. In my opinion he excels in all of these categories. Patrick has a big heart and commitment to helping his clients, combined with a wealth of knowledge in the areas of estate planning and asset protection.
Recently, I referred a family friend to Patrick for assistance with a contested will. The feedback I have received has been nothing short of stellar. Patrick has been able to achieve positive results quickly and put their mind at ease. -

I met Patrick Phancao through the Liaisons BNI Chapter in Anaheim, CA this past year and through our one-to-one meetings, I got to know more about him and his firm, Phancao & Shaffer LLP and their mission to help their clients protect their estates and all that they've done to give to their families in the future.
I didn't expect to find such great character so readily giving and actively giving back to clients, and I found it comforting, especially when estate planning happens to be everything you own going to the people you want to care for the rest of your life.
However, I really didn't know initially about his extensive background in trademark law and he went about helping me setup my trademark. Patrick was patient, friendly, and very informative. Even since, he's been helping me through all the additional trademark materials and processes and it's been a big deal to have someone in my corner working hard for me and SmallWerks.

I met Shadi Shaffer through the OC United BNI Chapter in Irvine, CA. She was very courteous and respectful when I brought my mother in to get the living trust and will done. Her knowledge and experience was only excelled by her showing genuine patience when answering the many questions my mother had. My mother always spoke highly of her after appointments. Meet the Business Owner: Shadi S.
Attorney Shadi Shaffer completed her Bachelor of Arts in Law & Society at the University of California, Santa Barbara. The following year, she went on to complete her Masters Certificate while studying abroad in Spain. Attorney Shaffer thereafter completed her Juris Doctorate degree in San Diego, California in 2002 and was proudly admitted to the State Bar of California on November 12, 2002. Attorney Shaffer continues to strive for ongoing personalized attention, all the while maintaining a cost-effective client centered firm. Attorney Shaffer's passion is educating clients about estate planning and the law in general.
