I fell in love with Aspen.  We had the perfect visit and hit up Aspen Mountain closing weekend.  If you do not ski you have to ride the gondola or a lift or 2 to check out the locals wearing costumes celebrating another good season.  Don't be surprised to find a beer or a cooler hidden under a tree while you step aside to pee.  I seriously belong in Aspen.  People who know how to have a good time live there and there's great snow.  Couldn't ask for more.  Also you have 3 other mountains within a 10 minute drive:  Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk and Snowmass.
