Not as scary as others have noted, for me at least. I think the woman who owns the place cleaned it up.
One of the locals referred to this as the 'large Oriental market' - compared with the really small Asian market on one of those 30th St. strip malls. Funny!
Lots of different types of Asian sauces, a few vegetables in the back (now those looked a little scary), and a fair run of dried goods like mushrooms and noodles. Conveniently located if you don't want to run to Broomfield. Maybe the cooler thing about this place is its location next to the Mexican bakery!!!
This place is scary. There were some jars of bean curd in soy that didn't have expiration dates printed on them and the rims were crusted. I don't want to know how long that thing has been sitting on the shelf. This place is strange too. They have Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese, Indian and other Asian stuff but they also have Mexican stuff too. I guess this means that they sell everything that the local supermarket might not have...? I'm not sure if I want to shop at this place. Everything looked stale and old. I really want to find a decent Asian supermarket around here. Maybe I need to go to Denver. I'm realizing how spoiled I was in LA having several Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino, Indian supermarkets to choose from. This is what I get for moving away from the Pacific... hahahaha... I'm on a mission now to find one.
