We tried The Asian Kitchen for the first time for our traditional New Year's Eve dinner and the food was good, very tasty! The folks at the restaurant were friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely go there again.

We ordered seven or 8 entrees from here. On the whole it was an average experience. I wasn't overwhelmed by their fried rice or Kung Pow chicken but the Lo Mein and beef with broccoli was good. They are using a walk up plexiglass window because of the pandemic but the lady who was there was pretty efficient.

I have been here several times and ha e not been disappointed yet. Is it the best Asian restaurant in the area? No. But that being said, the food is good. Their Hibachi meals and Teriyaki are good, their fried wontons are done right, beef and broccoli was delicious and my daughter (who is pretty picky) likes their chicken LoMein.
The lady at the front is very nice and my absolute favorite is that they have not messed up one of my orders! Mind you, we have ordered from here SEVERAL times and always get a few appetizers and at least 3-4 different combo dishes (each with special orders; i.e. no onions in the rice, add egg to the rice, extra spicy, etc). That is a huge plus for me because it seems like accuracy is not too common at a lot of the take out restaurants in the area.
As long as they continue providing decent food with good customer service and accuracy, we will continue ordering from them.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 3, 2017
Uhhhh....so I had a super awkward experience I'd like to tell you about.
On 5/1/17 at 7:45PM I got a hankerin' for some chinese food and called this place and placed an order for pickup. $13.86 got me a small order of vegetable lo mein, an order of crab rangoons, and an order of "chicken on the sticks". The nice girl on the phone said it would be ready in 15 minutes.
I arrived at 8:00 PM and paid for my order with a very young cashier girl. I noticed that there were a couple of small kids running around in the kitchen. I sat down to wait and at about 8:15PM the young girl and an older lady employee began to argue in another language. Things got pretty heated and the young girl began to yell and then burst into tears, threw a few orders on the counter, and then ran out the back door.
Fast forward a few minutes...I'm thinking where the heck is my food...so I go up to the counter and lo and behold it was one of the orders that were chucked on the front counter. It would have been nice if somebody would have told me it was ready. All the food was cold by the time I got home (3 miles away).
Anyways....enough story time...on to the food.
$4.25 vegetable lo mein had thick noodles, broccoli, mushrooms, snow peas, green onions, and bok choy. The noodles were incredibly dry and had no flavor at all. I really wish they would have added some oil or stir-fried them in the wok or something. It needs some help!
$4.35 crab rangoons came in an order of eight and they are the triangular variety. The filling was plentiful and delicious and the wrappers are the slightly chewy kind which I like. 8/10 would do again.
$4.35 chicken on the sticks came with four in an order. They were juicy and flavorful and very tasty. I highly recommend this item.
The items I tried were tasty enough that I'd like to go back....so 4 stars.Helpful 12Thanks 0Love this 15Oh no 1 - Rob L.Valrico, FL1692Apr 4, 2022
I tried this place as an alternative to China Star across the street. I wasn't happy with it at all. I ordered crab Rangoon, which hardly had any filling. Lo mein which was not even like lo mein noodles, just weird, and general tso chicken, which wasn't bad. The egg rolls were ok, and along with the general were the only reason it got two stars. I'll stick with China star.

Best Chinese food I've had since moving to Florida 3 years ago. Beef with broccoli, beef lo mein, honey chicken, sweet & sour chicken, pork fried rice were all excellent and we'll be back!!! Thanks!
