First off, the dearth of thai food in West Virginia seriously needs to be addressed. I spent a month in Clarksburg and desperately wanted some Thai only to find out the nearest restaurant was in Morgantown, 45 minutes to the north!
So one Friday night the girl and I decided to brave the cold and the interstate and trek up to Asian Garden for a curry or something. What we didn't expect was how good it was going to be and how diverse the menu was.
So while I've had Thai and Chinese food a hundred times, the Malaysian portion of the menu was something completely foreign to me. We ordered Laksa, which is a round thick noodle coupled with curry and in our case, chicken. ORDER THIS DISH! It was incredible!
Other things of note were the incredible deserts. The fried bananas are not to be missed! The sweet custard was good too, but to this day I still miss those fried bananas. -

there are no words that can truly describe this restaurant's perfection. the owners are the sweetest and most dedicated cooks in the world and every dish they prepare shows it. the menu is huge and they welcome alterations. the vegetarian duck is delicious. try it chinese, thai, or malaysian style and you will not be disappointed. i still have not had curry that compares to anna's delicious recipe.
