Great place:
Love the management, and lots of different kinds of discount:
1) Senior night
2) Free Kids night
General Chinese food is pretty well done and tastes great fresh from the kitchen. The sushi is better than most casino sushi, although not the same par as actual Japanese sushi place.
Waitresses in general are nice (besides a few).
We are a frequent customer. -

This is my least favorite buffet I've ever been to. Just looking at the food, I wasn't really interested in eating there but my girlfriend really wanted to go so we went. She some what likes the food only because of all the seafood she can eat.
I went up for my first plate of food and I was sorta disgusted by the taste of the food. I decided to give it another try and went to get different types of food and yet it was still disgusting so I decided to just stop eating. No wonder why their price is so cheap.
They even have deals for the elder, which makes no sense to me. Either they're trying to make fun of them or they're just trying to be funny, but they aren't. Over 100 gets 80% off their meal. Wow. Enough said I wouldn't want to come back to this place to eat unless I am forced to by my girlfriend.

Today the food looked better than ever! And the senior price is phenominal for what is avaiable. Great hot & sour soup, better salad bar, wonderful terriyaki pork on a stick. Perfect asian green beans. I was very satisfied!
The girls are always efficient and take care of you. AND senior discount Tuesday is packed with lines starting at 4:00pm for 50%, usually, and the CRAB LEGS, I enjoy myself and a few glasses of wine for less than $20 all I can stuff in my little senior mouth! I would actually go at the regular price, but they always have coupons in the local papers.1 Previous Review: Show all »

--------------------------------SEVERE FOOD POISONING-----------------------------
I had dinner here, I piled on the sushi and seafood...
A few hours I was admitted to the ER for severe food poisoning, they ran a urine and fecal culture test. It tested positive for a parasitical infection, most commonly found in seafood. Aside from the medicine I was prescribed, I had a very awful week with lots of throwing up, chronic diarrhea, a 104 degree fever, cold chills and heat sweats. I will never step foot in this place again!
I will soon submit what had happened to me to the food safety board, their seafood is definitely NOT grade A. -

For buffet this place was fantastic!! All kinds of different chinese food that you find at all the other buffets, except everything I tried was at least okay tasting. I've been to many buffets where half the food is inedible. They also have a small selection of Dim sum (YAY!) and a pretty large selection of Sushi for a buffet. Soups were good, and the coconut shrimp was really good!! Crab legs were not bad either for a cheap buffet.
All that being said, when I want a chinese buffet, I won't be going anywhere else from now on! -

This place is one of the worst buffets we have ever been to. Food has been in trays for hours. Most cold. We will never go back again.

A really good AYCE Chinese Buffet! Great selection from the crab legs all the way to the sushi. I live about 45 minutes from this location and wouldn't mind making the trip out here. I specially like their sushi selection, because not too many places have sashimi added to their AYCE menu. Arriving here at 7pm, they still had really fresh food. I would highly recommend this place to individuals that are looking for good eats!

If you like Chinese all-you-can eat and love seafood, this is the place for you. Been here several times and the food I would say it's mediocre. Nothing special considering it is Chinese buffet but if comparing to other Chinese buffets as far as quality goes, I would say this place is far better. They have plenty of selections and even have a sushi station to include sashimi and several rolls. If you're looking to eat sushi, I suggest go spend your money at an actual sushi restaurant but if price is your concern, then by all means eat here. Dinner I believe is $13.99 and lunch is $7.99...weekends they charge you dinner price all day long.

I am shocked at all the good reviews this place gets!
Nothing here was any good and the service sucked. The servers were unfriendly. My table was really sticky. The food was uneventful...nothing stood out.
The strange thing is that the sushi chef was really good at his art, but the owners of this place supplied him with such low quality fish that it killed his beautiful skill. He needs to go work at a high quality sushi joint imo. -

I love how this Asia buffet actually has food from most Asian cultures, not just Chinese.
The food is decent and warm ( which is way better than dried out and cold).
The sushi bar is impressive (give that this is a buffet in Murrieta). I had a good experience here, and I'd come back again. -

Went here with my parents since they live in Lake Elsinore . The food was okay. Great selection of meat and veggies. They only have a few selection for fresh salads though.
They do have a variety of seafood but I have had better ones in Vegas or in the Pala Casino. -

Seafood buffet in the Inland Empire!?!?
It's surprising to find a buffet these days that really try to uphold the seafood name AND isn't even within a 50 mile radius of the ocean.
Almost every warmer had some kind of seafood dish. From baked mussels to popcorn shrimp to sushi; this place has it all.
For the price you pay, don't expect quality but it is satisfying and there is a good amount of selection. The staff is very friendly and quickly clear your finished plates. On one occasions they cleared the table right as we got up to get another round.
One thing to really take note of is to save room for dessert. They have these delicious cheesecakes in a most inconspicuous box that rarely get touched but I have to say they are pretty much the highlight of the meal.
Sure you can argue about the patrons that come to this place but just remember where it's located... THE INLAND EMPIRE. Not exactly the county of decent society. It is a self-service buffet after all and I can vouch only for myself but I have a few horror stories coming back from the salad bar at sizzler back in the day and even hometown buffet so ranting about the people here is too traumatizing to even begin.
All-in-all, if you want to save a few dollars or just can't make it to Pala or Pechanga casinos for their buffets I would suggest this place as a decent alternative.Listed in: Good for Groups

I think this is one of those rare times I am giving a low score. In fact I am being generous at 3 because it wasnt so much the food that was so-so or on the verge of pretty good-- (get to that later) but the constant Happy Birthday Song which lost novelty after 5 plays and the kids that are allowed to go up to the food centers and touchy feely lick bite and put back or the people that DONT TAKE A CLEAN PLATE when they go, totally and completely skeeved me out. Granted this happens and buffets more often then I like to think, however in this case I was facing the Buffets food tables and it was a constant -way more then I expected.
So food- really nice selection I was surprised after all its a seafood buffet in the middle of the desert because Californias, Inland (us) is a desert.
Crab legs tasty, pre cut and easy to get, though some were mysteriously missing meat,, hmmm. They had oysters and clams on the 1/2 shell and the mussels were pretty good, but they didnt change the ice out much so thank goodnes I have a cement stomach. Sushi was okay but not a huge variety. The What I call ( chinese 5 fast food basics) were pretty darn good -Orange Chicken, Broc Beef, Kung Pow Chicken, Chow Mein, Teriyaki Chicken, the soups were okay, the desserts not so stellar.
SO again, not a bad price, I wasnt expecting a Vegas type buffet, so therefore I was surprised and pleased, however I wont go back for the simple reason people here cant control their spawn .
And after dropping two plates of food walking back to my table .
1st time- 1 a little boy decided to stop right in front of me turn around and toss a fit, he junk punched me with his fist trying to get away from his mother - AND #2- a ittle round rolly polly butterball who had NO real food for dinner was beelining it AGAIN for the 4th time to the softserve ice creme machine and evidently I was in his way of progress.. AS his family chowed down on crab legs...yes as he leaned his head under to catch the ice creme in his mouth...I seriously looked at his mother and said ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
At that -- Hubby was up and already paying the bill he knew it was time for us to go.
Be as it may have been an off night- hubby suggests we go again and give it another try... I am so not down with that.. but we will see -

Amazing seafood buffet. They have sushi, crab legs, mussels, oysters, crabs and all for $15 bucks.
The place was clean, the service was quick (they clear out your plates with fevor and refill your glasses before it hits empty) there were a lot of food varieties... pizza and garlic bread and pasta next to orange chicken and beef with brocolli. Dessert was just ok, but there wasn't much room for that anyways. -

The selection was great. I found a lot of things I loved including the salt and pepper crab, stuffed crab, salted shrimp, king crab legs, egg drop soup, creme puffs, cheesecake, and chow mein.
It surprised me that the sushi was good too. Usually all-you-can-eat sushi is on the bland or gross side from past experiences at Todai and casino buffets. But I really did like the sushi here.
The fruit selection could definitely be better however. More fresh fruits and more options would be nice.
Nice, quick staff. -

Very good value for the price. There are things you should avoid, but the sushi is pretty good, and the new raspberry iced tea is nice. They had some Kung Pao chicken and some pork ribs today that were really good.
The crab is just okay, and they don't give you any little picks to extricate it, so we bring one from home! (Can you tell we eat there a lot?) And have NEVER felt ill after eating here, unlike some other establishments, buffet especially.
AVOID on Wednesday early in the evening as it is Senior night, 1/2 price for seniors- unless you is one, of course! It's a zoo... -

When I first went here, I really liked it. I even took my friends here because the food was so affordable and really good. I came back several times and I have noticed that the quality has declined. I don't know what it is but it seems like the more business they have the more lackluster the service has become and the more bland the food. I like the sushi selection but otherwise I wouldn't waste my money.

Don't do it!
I'm a sucker for a good buffet and was excited to hear that this place had crab legs... After seeing a $2.00 off coupon in local ads, my 70 year old Mother and I went here for an early dinner.
Walked in and were surprised to see how clean and orderly everything was. Employees VERY kind! The buffet looked wonderful and we couldn't wait to dig in!
As we filled our plates and got to eating we were quickly disappointed... As other reviewers have mentioned, everything was very bland and flavorless. The sushi was about the same quality as you'd find in a grocery store deli, not bad for an inexpensive buffet. The crab legs were an odd color and when opened were almost empty and full of water. My broccoli beef had a really odd taste to it... my Mom told me it was from way too much beef tenderizer... I couldn't get the taste out of my mouth. The sweet and sour chicken was hard and dried out and the sauce that went with it was watery and runny. Even the desserts were weird... we tried a lemon meringue pie that tasted like lemon flavored cornstarch.
Halfway thru the meal I gave up and started feeling ill. Talked to my poor Mom and she was sick all night long... (Good thing I stayed away from the clams!)
I totally believe that you get what you pay for and when things look too good to be true, they probably are... Save your money and a stomach ache and pass on this one! : ( -

Dig for the crab legs first (only available during dinner and all day weekends)
Sushi bar is the most cool and the most sushi at a buffet I have ever seen even (fried sushi!)
Rest is pretty good
Theres milky ice cream and dessert -

I came here with my family because my dad loves to eat at buffets. Buffets in general have mediocre food, so I wasn't expecting much. My favorite thing to eat is the soft serve ice cream with the chinese donuts. It's a very good combo! Try it the next time you go to an Asian buffet. :)

The price is very reasonable for buffet, I go here after a shopping marathon at Ross and Burlington Coat factory. The food is decent and the choices are endless! Go for lunch, it is much cheaper. The dinner selection is almost the same so why pay more? :)

I come here for one reason and one reason only. They serve boiled crabs. I wish the crabs were served warm or hot, but for the price ($15 per person) I really can't complain.
The rest of the food is pretty standard for a Chinese Buffet. A variety of average quality food all in one restaurant. I've actually been to many of these kind of buffets and would give them 3 stars, but serving boiled crab makes it worth that extra star. =P
I should note that they also have a mini sushi bar and serve a small variety of other seafood as well such as shrimp, mussels, oyster, and fish
Would I recommend this place? Absolutely, especially if they love seafood. -

The food was okay, not too bad. Some dishes that were suppose to be hot were not, but what can you expect from these kinds of buffets; it's not the Bellagio. The service is meh and they didn't even say thank you or good-bye when they saw us leaving. I don't think we'll be coming back anytime soon.

Too much KRAB (for those of you who don't know, the mis-spelled crab is because it's FAKE).
Went here with my wife and her relatives as part of our "last meal" tour in Cali the other week. It's pretty much your typical Asian buffet with a slightly more expanded selection of seafood. Buffet quality sushi (surprisingly large selection of rolls), crab legs (the real ones), mussels, oysters, and various seafood salads.
You can surely find something to fill your stomach with, but considering we had just gone to the Crown Room at the Hotel Del Coronado the weekend before, this was mild in comparison. -
Review from Laura F.
I like this place better than China Super Buffet..
SO you have the regular stuff they have at all asian buffets... mongolian beef, fried rice, vegetables with whatever sauce blabhlabhl, and then you have the american foods like pizza... and fries... and chicken nuggets. Yeah seriously, why do you even have those there? But yeah, food is pretty good, a bit on the salty side. Just the way I like it hahaah.
Their sushi is a little better than other asian buffets I've been to. At least they have sushi chefs in your face (ok not really. but they're there) constantly making sushi. But... I noticed they just leave out sushi for like how many hours. Boo.
They have lots of yummy desserts. I like those little sesame balls filled with bean paste or something... I can eat those forever. And of course you have the self serve frozen yogurt, cookies, little cakes, etc.
Their seafood section... many much. Come during dinner. Crab legs are pretty good for a buffet... but I've had better. Not much taste... I think they overcook them or something.
I like their soups. And I like how they have those crunchy chips on the side. I pack so many chips in there... they're addicting. I also like how they have green onions on the side. Pack that shit too.
Service is nice and friendly. Place is a lot cleaner than China Super Buffet. Prices are good. Even better if you're 60+ years old... DISCOUUUNT!
I like going here... I really do. I'm always stuffed. I'm always happy. I always have a food coma when I get home even though I live like 5 minutes away. But once I get home I get the runs. Always. I think I have dumping syndrome or something. Sigh. -

2.5 stars
Man, I really wanted to love this place, because my parents talk about it all the time, and they were excited to treat me and my family there on our visit there last week.
You know how there's quantity, and then there's quality? Well, they definitely have the quantity part of it down-pat at Asia Seafood Buffet. As for the quality part of it, let's just say the best thing I ate were the fortune cookies. No, I'm just kidding. The beef and broccoli was okay, and there was also a spicy chicken dish that was pretty tasty. Their chow mein was decent. The fried crab rangoon puffs were good.
I was highly disappointed with the snow crab legs, which is what I was really looking forward to. They were mushy! And they really didn't taste fresh. Even a good soaking in butter could not salvage them. The salt and pepper Dungeness crab was better, but by the time I tasted that I was too full of the mediocre stuff to go back for any more.
I hope my parents don't try and take us there again. They would be crushed to find out that I didn't think t was that good. :( -

Murrieta, CA
Honestly, this shizz is not bad.
I'm not a fan for scary asian buffets, I admit, I'm not, just because I'm never too sure on how fresh, or how real the food is. Rude and totally discriminatory, I know, but oh so true!!
Came here for lunch AND for dinner within one week- the rents are totally into this place now, and with seniors half off on Tuesday nights, they couldn't resist.
Again, the steam table is great- clams, crab legs, shrimp... and its not rubbery or over cooked. The hot food is alright, the reviews are correct- the food is pretty bland, but I would rather deal with that than over MSG'd out. The desert- blah... not worth your stomach. Can't count for the sushi though because I'm still a nursing mother, but the hubby ate it and didn't have any stomach issues afterwards. Said it wasn't the best sushi he's eaten, but what can you expect from a $8 buffet?
The service is nice, I've yet to run into a problem... and they were very accomodating to my young babies. Which in my book is always a bonus.
Again, this is no Vegas buffet thats to die for, but for here in sleepy Murrieta, its not half bad. :) -
Review from Nino R.
As a reformed face stuffer, I sometimes find it necessary to see just how far I've come from my gluttonous ways. With that being said, I gave this place a go after my debacle at Burlington Coat Factory. I thought to myself, "either this place will save the day or make me realize just how much Murrieta needs to be erased from physical existence."
So I go for the crab legs first. My timing was pretty decent because someone from the kitchen had just dropped a fresh pan. I grabbed a couple and went to work. First thing I noticed was a lack of snap from the shell. This is usually a bad sign. The meat is still warm but the flavor was off, as though it had been over-steamed. The consistency was dry and stringy. The other legs weren't any different.
I moved onto the sushi bar and half-loaded on the usual fare. The udon was ok the salmon and tuna weren't. At this point, I was looking to salvage what I could from this visit and snagged a few fried pork dumplings and a bowl of wonton soup. The soup was a bad idea but the dumplings were ok. Needless to say, the salvaging did not occur.
Today I realized that people don't care about what they eat in Murrieta. I also learned that I will never be a fat boy again HAHA. Sorry, it's just so disappointing that the only good food options around me are mexican restaurants.
I think I'm done with buffets for the rest of my life. A buffet is like a one-man band. It's an interesting novelty act at first, but then you realize how wack it is. There's no such thing as a good one man band, and a good buffet does not exist. If you're in the mood to try this place out--don't. Go to 24-Hour Fitness instead. You're heart, arteries and liver will thank you later.

LEXAN'S VERDICT: "Let the food coma ensue!"
I've been to this buffet several times, and I have to admit, it's better than most asian buffets particularly because of its cleanliness and the quality of the sushi.
The place is called Asia Seafood Buffet, but the seafood doesn't stand out as much as it probably should; however, there is an adequate variety of Asian food, and the quality isn't too bad. The crispy shrimp, which I think has replaced the coconut shrimp they used to serve, is good, and the baked mussels are delicious. The fried foods (chicken wings, cheese wonton, breaded shrimp, etc.), baked salmon, cold seafood, and soups are good, too. I usually avoid the salad bar and most of the American food, like the pizza for instance, because it obviously isn't their specialty. There is also some dim sum, but the quality isn't the kind you find at authentic Chinese restaurants. Overall, the desserts are bad... The cakes and cookies are bland, but their frozen yogurt as well as the apple pie and fried donuts, which aren't found in the dessert section (WEIRD?) are yummy.
The sushi selection is huge and includes nigiri and western-style sushi. The nigiri is OK but not comparable to the quality of the sushi found in Japan. What I like about their sushi rolls is that they use shrimp, raw tuna, raw salmon, and eel (unagi), and they also have rolls fried/baked in tempura batter. Sometimes you can't find that at moderately priced buffets.
A lot of the time, I see families with small children come here because the food caters both to younger people and adults. This place is great for big groups because it can seat a lot of people, and it even includes rooms where you can host large parties. There are many tables and many waitresses, so seating and service is quick. Take note that it's better to come on weekdays for lunch because the prices are cheaper, and if you're a senior citizen they give you a discount.
This buffet is moderately priced, so don't expect to eat high quality Chinese cuisine. You basically get what you pay for, so come hungry and you'll definitely get the most out of your money.
KEN'S VERDICT: Yum, yum for my tum tum! (More to come.) -
Review from Henry V.

Okay.. first thing to keep in mind: it's a buffet. If you want a super tasty, gourmet Chinese dish then I would suggest P.F. Changs. Now that we've gotten that out of the way..
Located in the Toys R Us shopping center, as buffets go (and I've been to almost all of them around here), I like Asia Seafood Buffet for the variety. After all, a buffet is a chance to have many small samples of LOTS of different dishes and this place did not disappoint. The sushi section alone is the largest I've seen at any buffet around town. At least twenty varieties along with sushi-mi. It's fairly fresh if you go during dinner time when it's being constantly made. Again, not made to order, but still very good and you could fill up just on the sushi section alone.
I love soups and dumplings. This place has 3 or 4 types of somai, dumplings and steamed buns and about six different soups. If you come in during dinner hours, there's LOTS of seafood to be had. I'm not into it much other than shrimp and there are about twenty different ways they prepare shrimp so I was happy. But they also have crab legs, mussels, clams, and various fish dishes that I'm just too scared to try since I'm a light-weight seafood kinda guy. Another thing I appreciated is the Salad bar section.. lots of fresh veggies and fruit to ease your conscience after a big meal. :)
The dessert section is fine, nothing extravagant however I did enjoy the little cheesecake pieces they have.
The place is very clean in the buffet area, the hostesses are friendly enough. Drink is not included with buffet. If I have one gripe it is the same gripe I have with just about EVERY restaurant I visit.. unkept bathrooms.
All in all.. for $15 and free kids on Thursdays it's a pretty good deal with lots of variety and decent food. Again, judging it based on other buffets, not on specialty restaurants. I look forward to stopping by there yet again. -

Great price for a very good buffet. Alot of variety.. we really like the short ribs, baked mussels, stuffed crabs and broccoli beef and of course, the crab legs. They have a good sushi bar, too. Clean and great service. Worth a visit and you can find their coupons in the that free monthly magazine that comes in the mail.

Review from Michelle V.
Temecula, CA
I've been wanting to try this place because I saw advertisements that showed pictures crab legs and thought OMG all you can eat crab legs for 12.99? I wasn't sure if the advertisement were false or what, then I saw the reviews on Yelp and thought I should really give this place a try.
We went on a Monday so there weren't very many people there. Which is good and bad. The food kind of just stayed there the whole time, but they didn't really run out of anything. But I was super excited to see the crab legs, peeled shrimp, and sashimi. That's pretty much all I ate. I did try some of the chicken dishes, but they were average chinese buffet chicken dishes. The chicken skewers are always a good bet. I was quite surprised that they had sashimi. Their sashimi looked like they were the end pieces that weren't pretty enough to put on the nigiri sushi. I was expecting it to taste really nasty, but it was pretty darn fresh. It wasn't fishy or anything, the texture of the tuna wasn't the best, but the salmon was pretty awesome. They also had tilapia which is a pretty cheap fish, but still tasty.
Then there was the crab. It actually wasn't too bad. I liked that it was pretty easy to just crack open with your hands. The butter tasted kind of funny. I'm thinking it wasn't butter. And I love butter so that made me a little sad.
I didn't have any desserts, didn't look that great. Although I did see the mini cheesecakes that I bought from Sam's Club once and those are pretty good.
I think its a pretty good deal for the price if you like the seafood part because the rest of the stuff looked eh...so so. -

Went one time -- won't be back. Enough said?
Well, if you want details here goes. First off I'm not a big fan of buffets, where food is just sitting in pans for hours on end. Once I got to digging into my plate, it just all seemed to lack flavor. Crab legs are my favorite but these were tasteless and watery.
A pretty expensive lunch. Not something I would recommend. -

One of the better chinese buffets I've been to. The food is pretty fresh and the selection is good. They have snow crab legs, peeled shrimp, and sushi (I don't recommend sushi from any chinese buffet). The selection of traditional chinese fare is also on point.
