Finally, a Chinese restaurant that delivers in the 925 area! Food was great, a bit pricey, but the chow mein + the pot stickers alone made it worth every dollar.

Part 2 of my 5lb weekend...This place is a gem i believe never in my life i would think i can find a decent to good chinese/dim sum in the 925 area code.
See my concern when my buddy move out here was damn dude wtf we gonna eat when i go out there and hang out. The power of yelp and to my surprise found so many local eats and Asia Kitchen was a great find.
Honestly wsup with 925 yelper why do most of you guys have pictures of your god as a profile pics and another thing how you name your restaurant is beyond me Asia Kitchen, Vietnam noodles haha i just find that funny.
But food here is really good it was very empty though only myself and my body and another family service was very friendly water is always filled to the top dim sum is not the best since i live in the Bay we have plenty of places out here thats alot better but it is still good fried rice is good and Honey Walnut Shrimp and Salt n Peppers spare ribs is some of the best ive had tried.
Everyone should give this place a chance if you live or in the area. -

I'm impressed with their food in here. I think it's priced right on their entree but their dimsum it's on expensive side maybe becauses i'm used of the price of dimsum in the City.
We ordered shrimp dumpling ( it was good, whole piece of shrimp), pork siu mai ( this is just ok), stuffed eggplant (very good),salt and pepper fried tofu( it was good with their sauce on the side), chicken and egg congee ( it was good), chicken congee ( i didnt taste it, my daughter said its good) and beef chow fun (it was on the skimpy side but taste good).
Overall my family was satisfied and both of the ladies are very nice even they forgot to bring another dish. Will definitely comeback! -

I'm not a fan of honey Walnut prawns because they send to be too much mayo sauce and it it isn't crunchy.. BUT not here! they make the best WALNUT PRAWNS ever!! very very crunchy! and not too much mayo sauce! just enough! and it's very light!
the sweet and sour chicken is really good too.
so is the fried rice and chowmein.
Dimsum is offered fresh all day!
and the ladies there are very kind!
one of the best Chinese restaurants in Antioch! love them! -

Salt n pepper prawns were a relatively small portion, fried well but didn't have a large jalapeno kick I like. Fried rice had peas and carrots in it, nothing groundbreaking.
Hot n Spicy Garlic pork was in a sauce a bit too sweet which lacked any spice and garlic flavor, however the vegetables: carrots, zucchini, celery, sliced water chestnuts were crisp.
I agree with the previous reviewer since I just tried the takeout but the portions were small. Would like to try some dim sum and their lunch specials which are mostly in the $5.95 to $6.95 price range and try their soup, egg rolls, chow mein.
Don't think they have a menu online so checkout the pics, hopefully they are readable. -

They have a pretty decent dim sum menu and everything we ordered was good. The salt and pepper pork is really good as well and just as it should be. Service was beyond great. We left completely satisfied and it was well worth the money. We will definitely be returning again and again.

Very nice service. Came for lunch and got the Hunan chicken, honey walnut prawns, and kids cherry pork (see pics). Both honey walnut prawns and Hunan chicken fresh, crispy, and hot. Portions were small compared to South North although the flavor and price were comparable. I need to eat smaller portions anyway :). The cherry pork was a little fatty but my daughter enjoyed it. Although I think she enjoyed the other two dishes more. Chow mein was good but nothing spectacular. I needed to add a little soy sauce. Fried rice was fair. Hot and spur, although not chock full of goodies had a good flavor. If I had a choice I would pick South North, but I would come here if in a pinch. They deliver which is always nice and they keep good hours. Friendly service made for a bump up to 4 stars from 3 1/2.

We were bummed when they sold their restaurant on A street and had to resort to the other awful Chinese (very americanized) restaurants. When we found about Asia kitchen, we immediately went for dim sum.
Great restaurant ran by two sisters. The best traditional Chinese food in the area. This is definitely no panda express. Dim sum is fresh and tasty. My mom calls in special requests before we come in for family dim sum and the owners always accommodate. If you want real delicious Chinese food (none of that fake crap), come here. You know it's good when Chinese locals are regulars. -

Thank you yelpers for helping me find this place!! The mushu pork & Chinese broccoli with ouster sauce are great! We also shared a 1/2 Peking duck. The service was very friendly & efficient. They also have dim sum. :)
They are open 7 days a week, 11:00am -9:30pm -

Thanks to another Yelper, we heard about Asia Kitchen. It's located by the Dollar Store in the Delta Fair shopping center. Came here for dinner and ordered only dim sum, though their regular menu had a lot of really yummy-looking stuff.
The food was about 3.5 stars, pretty much your typical dim sum fare. I rounded up for 2 reasons:
1) service was excellent. The 2 women who served us were efficient and super friendly.
2) Their dim sum menu offers "mini-dishes." These are smaller versions of a few of their regular entrees such as roast duck, honey prawns, salt & pepper variations, all for just $5 each. What a sweet way to try a little of everything.
Bf and I loved the honey prawns and the salt & pepper prawns, though I'm still looking for a local restaurant that serves s&p prawns the traditional way (without batter and with the head & skin). Definitely recommend.
If you're looking for some greens, their chinese broccoli in oyster sauce is good. Standard fare but fresh greens, and one of the very few veggie dishes in creation that I actually enjoy.
Siu mai & shirmp dumplings were both solid. I really liked that they weren't super oily like some dumplings can be.
The fried shrimp puffs were lacking in flavor so I'd say pass on those.
The chicken feet, like those served at North South Dragon on A St, was heavy on the sauce but still finger-lickin' good.
Our total bill was about $30 and included a soda. We had a bit left over, enough for a snack. We would love to come back here to try some of their other stuff (sizzling udon noodles, fried whole flounder, and ginger chicken sounded so good!).
Oh yeah, and they deliver! -

Aaaaaah they're back. That old Antioch business is back as "Asia Kitchen". Same amazing food, better location and restaurant. Brand new interiors, no biker bar next door.
They are offering Dim Sum EVERY DAY now.
You can order Americanized dishes or real Chinese style. Both are great. The even serve Congee (Okayu, Kind of a rice based Porridge). Wonderfully light and filling. Prices are good as usual.
Try them out! -

I'll keep this short, the flavor, excellent, the quantity, excellent and the price, just right. The service also gotten better.. This is the best place for Chinese hong Kong style food in a 50 mile radius.. Try the hunan chicken. Better yet, try everything... Now I have two reasons to go to anitoch, Costco and Asia Kitchen..

Friendly staff and most definitely the hidden gem in the far east bay. Delicious dim sum served all day and til closing. Ask for your favorite items - since not everything is on the menu. Very creative chef can even put together something special for you... depending on what you feel like eating. Excellent XLB! Yummy braised tofu & veggies... you can even get kangkong with it if you ask for it! Their special E-Fu Fried Wonton soup is a must have!!! Feelin' like a certain secret ingredient? They'll figure out a dish! Clean and affordable!

Asia Kitchen is a yummy adventure. The food is delicious! My sons are very "picky" and they say this is the best Chinese Restaurant they have been to in this area. I certainly enjoyed the Mu Shu Shrimp and the pan fried noodles. We most certainly will be back.
