Hot babes, good service, but most of all YUMMY Quan Nhau food. The Lau is good (Thai or seafood hot pot). Spinach salad or chicken salad are must order here. Clams or special seafood dishes are awesome here.
The new management Tom is a cool guy, friendly & super good service. You want some eyes candy, come here, bring some fresh Benjamin Franklin to pay like a real Vietnamese gangster :-) Be a gentlemen and tips the waitress well.
If you a cheap ass guy just want to come here to drool, stay home, make some dough first before you hang out here! It's definitely way out of your league! Otherwise, you are gonna get into some serious sh&# with my people!
Don't say that I didn't warn you already! For those that is cool and can roll well, you will guarantee to have a good time!Listed in: Vietnamese Karaoke & Cafe

Formerly called "Asia Bay" - now under new management is the new "Asia Bay Bar & Lounge". There are over 30+ viet bars in San Jose, but this one tops my top 3 list in great eats!! You have to try the steak dishes here....melts in your mouth would be an understatement. They have the biggest collection of fine wines here that you will not be able to find at the other viet bars. The sound system has been revamped and the decor has been tweaked up a notch since the last owner. Very cozy, warm & definately is on the map as your local neighborhood dive bar but with a splash of class :-)
What I like about Asia Bay Bar & Lounge is that the ambience is very mellow. I go here for good food, good wine & not have to deal with the wild entertainment (lap dancers) that you might find at the other viet bars. A great place for couples !!!Listed in: Quan Nhau ~ Viet Bars

Asia Bay grand opening was last Friday and supposedly it's a Coffee Shop during the day (which is still being worked on) and at night it turns into a Sport Bar. I guess you can say it's more of an upscale viet bars because they don't have karaoke and smoking is not allowed.
When you walk in, you can feel it's very peaceful. The music is very low and the lights are dim. They have 8 plasma TVs and each plays different sports.
The food here is fair but a little pricey and the most interesting thing is they serve Solju with your choice of flavor and Sake Bomb!!!! I'm def a Solju drinker however, these suckers tends to creep up on you....
The downfall about Asia Bay is, SJPD are always around this area. If you decide to come out for drinks, be sure you have a designated driver : )

***Coffee shop and restaurant is now opened during the day. The lunch menu is very simple and the price is fair. I tried the com bo luc lac and it taste just like my very own recipe!! keke... -

I always have a good time here. The ladies are nice and always make sure your beer is never empty. I sound pretty decent so their karaoke system must be really good hahaaaaaa!! Never saw any problems out of all the times I have been here.

This quan nhau caters more to the younger crowd, so they have younger, non-fobby waitresses. Most quan nhaus change from time to time based on the girls, crowd, and hype.

Nice little place they got here. Friendly girls and good food. Who could ask for more. Just the usual quan nhau... smoky, loud and full of vietnamese gangsters haha. It's a nice place if you're in the area. one of the many selections out there. Their Lamb chops are to DIE for.

I like Asia Bay! It's convenient and close to my home. The food, karaoke, service and crowd is good. The girls are pretty and nice. The ambiance is relaxing, very clean and nicely decor, modern. I like their mood lightings. Alittle smaller than other bars but still comfortable and FUN! You'll have a good time if you want a chilled night. It's not as rowdy as other bars, I think... No complaints, 4 stars.

this quan nhau is my favorite of them all. it isnt too packed but it isn't dead when we go. the waitresses are very friendly and younger than the typical older workers seen at quan nhaus. the food is the shit!! u gotta try the snails, i can drink the sauce alone! kinda on the pricey side but thats kinda expected from viet bars. when me and my friends go we usually spend 300+ for the table but its split up so it isn't so bad, maybe 50 a person. its close to my work so i can just swing by if i get off early enough.
