Ashland Drug reminds me of my old tyme corner store back in Estherville Iowa. They just don't have many of these kind of establishments around any more. The only thing missing is a soda fountain that serves my old favourite, the cherry phosphate.
The display windows are in front and the pharmacy counter is in the back. In between is a local neighbourhood vibe, a short line at the cash register (in front of the pharmacy), elder care supplies, miscellaneous tchotchkes, and most of your other basic drug store needs. There is nothing really fancy about this place, but it is here when you need it. In our case, it was a small bottle of Tylenol PM.Listed in: Ashland Oregon

so glad i found this place. My eyeballs were dry from the nonstop contact lens wear during my marathon play watching. So I was truly relieved when I found this place. Prices ok-but just went in to get some saline, contact lens case and gum. There were a bunch of medical supplies as well as stationery and weird knick knacks. Hm. interesting but mostly just good for a quick run in and out.

This is truly an old time pharmacy with customer service. Recently visited this store with my elderly cousin, who was indecisive about a cane that she badly needed to purchase. The man in charge of the medical supplies was so patient and helpful. She eventually purchased exactly what she needed, but was never rushed during the process.
