Review from Cristy A.
New Orleans, LA
I rarely get the chance to travel within the U.S. I took a few days off work to take a little road trip with my boyfriend. We drove for 12 hours from New Orleans to Asheville. I even used Yelp to figure out where would be a great place to stop and get breakfast on the way in Chattanooga. So, we show up, after an exhausting drive and we are greeted by Ms. Linda. What an incredibly sweet and helpful lady. She made us feel so welcome and answered all of our questions. We were interested in getting a couple's massage but didn't realize that you had to book it 3 days in advance... she still managed to schedule us in.
I'm so impressed with this place that I'm writing my review while I'm here. This place is gorgeous... away from the city, from my work, from all the headaches for just a few days to relax. We are staying in Irene's Oak. This place was spotless and BEAUTIFUL! The jacuzzi is nice and hot, the rooms are nicely made, and we had a cute gift basket waiting for us. And as a special unexpected treat for us, it started snowing just a few hours after we arrived! I can't wait for tomorrow - we're going horseback riding for 3 hours and going to a gem mine, then we have a couple's massage the next day... it's going to be so relaxing. This is by far one of the best and most romantic trips of my life. I wish it would never end.... -

We stayed in Chris' Cabin for 2 weeks and we did like the location and service. We could do without all the noisy water fountains as we would rather listen to singing birds and wind in the trees. Chris' Cabin is cute but looks to be the most rustic of all the cabins as you can see daylight through some of the walls and around windows so if you plan on being here during extreme weather, you would be better to rent one off the newer units. We loved the access to the Blue Ridge trails at the top of the property.

This was a really cool place. Our cabin was surprisingly well equipped and nicely decorated. The hot tub was also a really nice touch. Our 3 year old had a blast at the two separate jungle gyms and also at the game area. It was great to drink coffee every morning on the deck. The only negative - I wish it would have been about 10-15 degrees cooler outside.

We will stay here everytime we visit Asheville. It's centrally located, about 15 minutes from everywhere you want to go. The cabins are spacious, clean, well stocked with everything you need. Definitely worth 5 stars!

Gorgeous, cozy, and great staff! We stayed at Larry's Lodge cabin. The cottage was clean and the staff left a welcome basket on the counter for us. The hot tub was perfect and very clean. There was also a stereo that had an iPod dock which I liked. Easy to get to and very relaxing. My fiance proposed to me here as well so we'll definitely be back!

I stayed here at the beginning of autumn and it was amazing. Each cabin is fairly isolated from the others and they all seem to have awesome views. Willow Winds is located right on the Mountain to Sea Trail which is nice for a short hike. It's also located only minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and about 5-10 minutes from downtown Asheville. The staff was nice and overall it was an excellent experience. I've already made reservations for next year.

This is at least the fourth time we have stayed here and each time, it has been perfect! The cabins are spacious, clean and well-stocked. The staff is friendly and professional. The views are amazing...this time we stayed in Andrew's Attic, backing up to forest, and even had a doe visit. Between grilling on the deck or hanging out in hammock or hot tub, who needs to go anywhere? If you come to Asheville, you need to stay here.
