I've been bringing my cars to them for 5+ years and have never had a complaint. Excellent mechanics.

I've never had my car inspected here, but as another reviewer mentioned their inspectors apparently work off commission, which is super weak.
Anyway, I've had to roll up to this place twice with a flat-ish tire- both times it was a gigantic nail causing all the heartburn, and both times they were able to get me in and out in under half an hour. The first time (earlier this year) they charged me 15 bucks to plug the tire, and last night when I came in sobbing because I thought I was going to have to drop a cool $250 to replace a tire (yeah, that's right, Subaru thought it was funny to put uber-expensive stock tires on its WRX'es); they informed me it was, alas! another nail, and plugged this tire for me-- FREE OF CHARGE. Now, I know free stuff is hard to come by these days (hello sample day at Costco!) so I was seriously impressed that they took the time to both (a) inspect, and (b) repair my poor tire for FREE.
Now, call me old-fashioned but I'm a big fan of two things- one- free stuff, and two- honesty. I would consider going back there for other tire-related issues, probably not for mechanical stuff (that's why God created Dranesville Auto). -

I brought a tire in because it was low on air. They took it, discovered the tire valve was leaky and replaced it for $16 bucks.
I've also had the fan in my air conditioning/heating unit repaired here and the service was honest and fairly priced. I trust these guys and have learned my lesson (349 to get brake switches and light bulbs replaced elsewhere which cost MORE than the replacement of the AC/Heating unit in my car. yep. MORE.) and won't go anywhere else.Listed in: My Neighborhood

First off, I used to go to the place in Herndon on account of me working across the street and knowing the owner. I stopped going after them repeatedly finding something wrong with my car. Which I soon realized wasn't their fault, just that my car was a POS. Anyways, I stopped by the Ashburn office, since I moved across the street of this one, to get my flat tire changed. Upon changing the tire I guess the tech broke my tire pressure monitor and told me I needed to come back. Well, I give this place 5 stars based on the fact that he couldv'e easily said the thing was busted before he changed it and charged me for it. Instead he was honest, which immediately put this place head and shoulders above any other mechanic I know.
