ASAP Taxi

Reserved a ride to the airport at 4am because I wasn't sure about Uber availability. Super glad we did! The driver was early, courteous, and everything was very easy. Paying by credit card wasn't the smoothest (had to read our card number), but I found the price reasonable.

While I have used UBER I do like that you know exactly what you'll get with ASAP service. Dispatch is knowledgeable about the events happening in the greater Portland area and they coordinate resources as smoothly as an air traffic controller if not better. The drivers we have had were friendly and know the streets of Portland and outer Portland like the back of their hand. It's easy to plan for what you're going to pay because of flat rates. I will keep the UBER app on my phone but I ASAP as a favorite in my contacts.

Yes, they're very good. 24/7 too. Which you cannot always find with uber.

I have been roasted over the coals with cabber companies before. Not ASAP. You basically have to be ready to go, then you call the cabber. And 5-minutes later they're there.

It's real, real tough to find this in cabbers now-a-days...

Other places like DC, San Francisco.... have dismal cab companies.

They had overbooked and he was on his way. We didn't allow enough time for our driver to show up late and the taxi ride would only have been about 8 minutes.
You should know that they overbook, seriously at 4:00a.m. They were OVERBOOKED? Perhaps it was just routine for
Them. You can't show up

Clients that are going to the airport. If they had informed me of this issue when I called to reserve a ride, I would have discussed a different time or chose a different taxi service but I did not have the benefit of making those decisions at 4:00 in the morning. I would never book them again and I will be sure that the clients I see all day will be aware that you cannot depend on ASAP taxi.

My wife and I had our wedding in North Yarmouth. We had an open bar and wanted everyone to get back to where they were staying, safely. We requisitioned the help of ASAP Taxi. They were amazing every step of the way with planning. Very nice and our wedding guests had nothing but good things to say about them. They were so accommodating...when our guest was getting picked up (to get to the wedding) the guest was not ready, so ASAP adjusted and came back when our guest was ready! They didn't have to do that but it was so nice of them to! At the end of the wedding, ASAP was not only on time, but a little bit early to our event. Taking everyone safely back. I would recommend using ASAP to anyone inquiring for taxi services! Thank you ASAP! You made our wedding just that much better and took some stress off our minds!

As someone who has worked for the company for years, I can honestly say that the owners are amazing people who care deeply about their customers and employees. Our boss is a sweetheart and has always treated me fairly and with a great deal of respect. I owe a enormous debt to him and hope but nothing but the best for him and his wife.

I also know that we strive to make our company better - keeping up with RideShare companies has made us diversify and adapt, but we have stayed true to our core values. Donating thousands of dollars to local charities and non-profits each year, there is a strong commitment to supporting our community and underserved populations.

If nothing else, people should call ASAP Taxi because it is a locally owned, locally run, locally minded company with strong values and a great person running the show.

I must admit I am new to using taxis but o was extremely impressed by there customer service. When I called to set up the ride the dispatcher was polite, and I found the driver to also be amazing. My driver was on time and took the direct route to my destination. Will definitely use this company again.

I've used ASAP numerous times. Majority of times they pick you up fairly quickly- usually within 15 minutes of you calling. The cabs are always clean and drivers have all been courteous. Rates seem about average. Recommended.

I usually like to support local businesses but this one showed absolutely no regard for my wallet. Had an unsatisfactory ride and only offered to reimburse the tip.

Should have taken an Uber. Probably still would have sucked but at least I would have only paid half the price.

ASAP taxi gave us reliable, courteous, prompt service today, when we arranged with them to have a Christmas dinner delivered to a pal of ours who is recovering from surgery. In Portland. (We're in California! )
