Asante was able to fit me in for a last minute hair-cut on a weekend -- they only had one opening so plan ahead! I was impressed with the overall experience and would def go back. They were very friendly, listened to what I wanted, and made recommendations. Kristen Ann cut my hair and was very helpful. She double checked the ends/lengths as a final QA, which I do appreciate. I'd rather they checked one last time than to find uneven lengths at home.
There's a coupon on their site for 20% off first time customers. If I had more money I would buy some of their Aveda Products.
As far as parking goes...There's a small connected parking lot. They do take credit cards.
They are all very good but I go to Christine because she not only gives a great cut and color but makes me laugh during the entire session. I love the Aveda products and this salon is very low key and no one pressures you to buy. Two very big plusses over my previous stylist: the cut and color lasts much longer and the Aveda dyes do not irritate my scalp.
I guess the best reason for my going to Assante: my best friend and worst critic said to me following my first visit: "Well, someone finally got it right!"
Just okay. My hair is pretty hard to cut (it frequently ends up looking lopsided for reasons I've never figured out), so I have learned not to expect anything brilliant when trying out a new hair salon. The haircut I got here met those expectations.

The Aveda Color line is up to 99% Naturally Derived and delivers colors that not only give you a tremendous amount of shine and luster, but are essentially damage free. Established in 2007
Asante Salon was designed to provide a relaxed, comfortable, yet fun salon. As the owner, I decided to use Aveda because my environmental concsiousness. Aveda truly adheres to there own mission statement to "strive to set an example for environmental leadership and responsibility..." In today's environment, it is refreshing to represent a major corporation that acts on what it stands for. The color line gives you colors that are fully customizable, essentially damage free, and up to 99% naturally derived.
Meet the Business Owner: Liza G.
I have been doing hair for about 10 years, and really enjoy all aspects of the hair industry. My ultimate goal was to own a small Aveda salon so that I could still do hair services, while being a salon owner. In May 2007, I was able to acheive that goal. I have created a salon were my staff can blossom in their career as stylists, as well as a space where I love to go to work each morning. I have to say that enjoying going to work each morning is a blessing.
