Miami-Dade, FL
Consistent, delicious, well staffed, excellent service, reasonable pricing (expensive but good value/quality ratio)... Arturo's is the best restaurant on Marco Island.
The dining room is ornate and not exactly kid-friendly but they happily do takeout, which we get frequently.
The stuffed pork chop is a delicious monster of a meal. Pastas (We crave their seafood ravioli) are fresh and fantastic, as are chicken, veal and fish meals - all of which are a great value and come with salad (spend the extra buck and get their Gorgonzola dressing) and side of pasta with red sauce.
All in all a solid performer with really outstanding food quality and service. Go! -
Review from Todd R.
What a restaurant, from the extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff to the absolutely, hands-down, the best dish I've ever eaten from a restaurant. I had the stuffed pork chop, which is not on the menu, but is the chef's special creation, and, BOY What A Dish! I boneless pork tenderloin surrounding prosciutto and a mozzarella cheese and raisin (yes, raisins - adds the perfect sweet compliment) sauce, enrobed in the absolutely best Marsala wine and mushroom sauce.
The restaurant is tastefully decorated, not five star, but elegant enough to make this easily the best dining experience I've ever had. The waiter was excellent, listened to my needs and was genuinely interested in my dining experience there.
You may think I'm exaggerating, but I thought that the price was too low for the food and service. However, since it is a bit off of Marco's main strip and in and older part town that may explain the lower prices. The price is similar to other four star restaurants 18-25 dollars per dish average but come with salad and your choice of vegetable or pasta with marinara. If you are in or near Marco Island, Florida, you won't have any regrets eating here. -

This is a great restaurant, with very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Although it is not the best Italian I have ever tasted, it is better than most, and this is why we keep going back whenever I am in Marco Island.
The specials are always inventive and tasty, but I actually have not heard great things in regards to their signature stuffed pork chop.
Be sure to make reservations if you intend to dine on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night in season. Also, take out is an option, if you don't feel like cooking and haven't planned accordingly. -

Wow. Completely underwhelmed. No flavor, no taste and should be $$$ not $$ on yelp. Be careful breadbasket napkins melt when close to table candle. Pork chop very over rated, specials weren't special. Really very disappointed. First 1 star I've ever given

Last night was my first visit to Arturo's. I went with my parents and another couple, all who had been there previously and had given it great reviews. If it wasn't for their experiences, I may have given this place 1 star.
Overpriced is definitely a trend in touristy settings such as this, which I understand, however Arturo's seems to take it to an extreme. All of their "signature" cocktails are $10.95, with a minute dash of alcohol in each. The mojito, which our server assured me was very good, was bitter and disappointing.
The menu was large(ish), but had very few healthy options and no entrée salads to speak of, which is what I would have preferred. I ended up ordering one of the only pastas not swimming in a heavy cream sauce, the pasta primavera, which had little taste and was no different than the pasta I make in my own kitchen.
My dining companions ordered the signature pork chop (large portion and well-received), veal marsala (above average), and chicken abbondaza (chicken with red peppers and artichokes; good but not great).
The server was attentive, but oblivious, and was only present to take the food orders and deliver the check.
I might try Arturo's again, but believe there are much better restaurants on the island for your money. -

As a transplanted New Yorker living in San Diego, I can appreciate a good Italian restaurant. We come to Marco Island at least 1x per year and Arturo's is always one of the spots we hit regularly.
I have never had their signature pork dish...we get either seafood specials or chicken parm (I love the chicken parm).
If you come with kids they will sit you in the back so other diners are not disturbed. We have a 2 yr old and this was fine by us.
Service is fantastic. Happy Hour is half off all drinks.
Would recommend to any out of towners looking for good Italian. -

Mediocre at best. Excesive portions. No flavor in the dishes. If you have ever eaten Italian food this will disappoint your stomach and wallet.

Marco Island, FL
Returned to Arturo's and enjoyed another god meal. Hands down best Italian restaurant on Marco Island. This family owned and operated really likes what they do - very warm greeting from the time you join to the time you leave. The wine list is good for the Island and while the food and serve will not blow you away, it's consistent and good.

My father had my rehearsal dinner here for my Wife and I and our guests. This place lived up to the hype. I had the stuffed porkchop and was very pleased. The presentation was great and the service was top notch. Didn't get to try very much variety on the menu since we had a set menu so I can't give it 5 stars but I will definitely be back to try this place again and taste more of the menu!

Outstanding restaurant. Good atmosphere and great food. A group of four us went and we each had a couple of drinks with an entree and an appetizer and the total bill was $200. I had the gnocchi gorgonzola which was amazing. My colleagues had grouper and a couple of different chicken dishes. Everyone was very pleased. Our water was Carmine who was fun, gave info (even pointed one of our group away from the veal saying he didn't think it was outstanding that night). He recommended wines for everyone and was very accommodating throughout the dinner. To top it off, after we received the bill, we thought to ask for separate tabs (for expenses) and he didn't even bat an eye (probably cursed us out out back, but stayed composed in front of us). The restaurant had been recommended to us and I will do the same, when in Marco Island, make sure to go to Arturo's.

Review from Robert M.
New York, NY
Good restaurant. Had the signature stuffed pork chop that was big. I expected it to have a little more taste. They put the tables too close together and in addition when the restaurant wasn't even that crowded, sat us right next to another table of loud people. The server or bus person took my plate away too early when the rest of my party was not even finished. I wasn't not even sure if I was finished, but she was. The chocolate lava cake was just okay and didn't arrive warm with a gooey center as promised and it was $8.50. All in all just okay. I've experienced better food and better service.

Some of the best food I have ever had. They have won awards for their stuffed pork chop, the best single dish ever created. Service is always good.

Used Yelp to find this wonderful restaurant. It is convenient to get to as it's near the Snook Inn. The decor is upscale with an Italian twist. The staff was very attentive and provided top rate service. But...the food... wow. I hosted a business dinner here and every diner was raving the entire meal. The stuffed pork chop is better (and bigger) than any reviewer's words could describe. It is a very large portion, so be hungry. My wife's vodka pasta and a client's soft shell crabs got rave reviews. We were from all over the US and found the entire evening excellent. Do not hesitate to dine here.
