When you have a meal at Barndiva, you leave wanting to take it all home with you. Well, the people at Barndiva realized this, and created a stunning retail store attached to the restaurant, called Artists and Farmers,
Their philosophy in acquiring objects for sale is that they must be created close to the source, and feel a personal connection to them. This is the same philosophy that they have in their restaurant, and it carries over beautifully. The huge space is filled with special things, from stationary to housewares to art pieces - and each one looks like it was brought to you by a good friend. (a good friend with excellent taste)
They share the space with Dragonfly Farms florists, and the store was filled with colorful blooms when I visited.
The space is huge and gasp-worthy.
It just goes to show that beauty is made even more radiant when there is substance behind it.
Do not miss this wonderful and unique store on your next trip to Wine Country - at the very least, you will be inspired!

LOVED this store and wanted everything in it. Like, seriously, everything.
I am not paying $75 for a candle though, regardless of whether or not French candles will be able to use real essences in their candles from now on. Candles are not collectors items.

I really like the store and the concept of it, but it's way overpriced and not very...useful?
Don't get me wrong, i love my my 'unnecessary knick-knack" collection, but this is definitely pricey and not all that unique
This fabulous little local gem is located right next door to Barndiva, restaurant and lounge.
This shop is filled with amazing little (and big) items from local artists and designers. From bottles found buried throughout wine country to frames made of wooden beams of old homes in the local area to decorative plates with whimsical sayings to display for all to see. This gallery / shop / florist / catch-all is a must stop!

this is such an incredibly inspiring store. the space is huge and gorgeous, as Liz S. mentioned, and the light and energy inside is equally amazing. this store made me want to make things, something i haven't really done since i graduated college with a degree in creative writing and studio arts and moved back to sf. i wanted to take this entire space back home with me, or maybe just move into it. unfortunately, it's definitely on the pricey side, and i really wanted the whole thing, not just an item or two. it has ambiance. just another reason why healdsburg may be the best place on earth...
