What an absolutely wonderful little place this is for the creative littles, adults and really anyone who is interested at trying their hand at creating art :)
Susan Manders is a pretty well known artist herself and on Tuesday afternoons, Wednesday mornings and Saturday mornings, she opens her talents and love of teaching up to those interested in learning.
So if you have been secretely yearning to draw, paint, shape or what have you then pop on by and get started. Life's too short not to just jump in and live it!

Specialties
The Art Experience specializes in year round instruction to:
kids, teens and adults - beginners, intermediate, advanced students and professionals welcome - My teaching philosophy is always about possibilities and self-awareness. My studio is always a creative safe place for children, teens and adults to explore their self-expression. I teach all my classes, therefore, you always have two hours with an established contemporary American artist. Ongoing group classes available mornings and afternoons. Private classes available by appointment. Portfolio consultation for educational and professional applications.
History
Established in 1978
Since I opened my studio, I have taught countless people from the community to include celebrities and children of celebrities who can now express themselves as artists. Many of my students have gone on to become professional artists themselves. Over the years I have created many unique art programs and art parties. I have always loved teaching and find it so gratifying to help guide my students in their respective individual directions. It continues to give me great pleasure to make painting accessible for anyone that has the desire to learn.
Meet the Business Owner: Susan M.
Susan Manders is a Los Angeles native who paints and teaches art classes in her studio, The Art Experience in Studio City. Her paintings and sculptures have been selected for Art in Public Places projects, entertainment sectors and more. Her works are represented in galleries throughout the United States. Manders is represented in fine art collections internationally, as well as archived by the National Museum of Women in the Arts. She has received several University degrees for her formal art education in Southern California, Mexico and was invited to, and attended the Royal College of the Arts in London.
Manders is the second woman ever selected as a United States Olympic Artist. Her painting, "All Eyes On Me," was made into official Olympic Posters and Limited Edition Prints for the 2004 Summer Olympics. Manders is now part of an exclusive club of internationally acclaimed Olympic artists such as Pablo Picasso, Peter Max and David Hockney.
