You gotta hit up Braddish's in the summer. It is an old shack, but back in the day they used to walk the water across the street in buckets from their house. So at least they have plumbing now. The burgers, gods, fish & chips (Friday only) and onion rings are awesome. It was an old favorite when I was growing up and still is when I wander back in town during the summer.
CLASSIC New England burger stand. Picnic tables and a ramshackle building that's been there for decades. Word is the owner lives in the RV out back but has a house on Cape Cod or something. At any rate, the best onion rings I've ever had. These are sliced really thin. Burgers and hot dogs are great too. It isn't summer 'til I go here.
