This place has two key things that a lot of other framing stores do not have, according to reviews on Yelp: (1) EXCELLENT Prices; and (2) quality service and work every time with a fast turnaround. I was super impressed with the staff's knowledge and guidance, and how courteous they all were. My framed paintings now look AMAZING and I am always going to return here whenever I need anything framed.
No other store in the DC/VA area can hold a candle to this place!! -

I was so impressed by the quality, price and professionalism of this place.
Having never gotten anything framed before I shopped around and got a few quotes from other shops and this place blew away my expectations in every way. I got two diplomas framed and they're perfect.
It's reasonable in price, accessible in a location and they have an eye for detail. Go here! -

I had two items (a 5x7 photo and large poster) framed at Art & Framing Club last week and I am beyond happy with the results! I've never had items framed before, and when I had priced out the abnormally-sized poster a couple years ago at Michaels, they had given me some absurd price (around $400 I believe). The total for both items here was $150, including a matte on the photo. I told the gentleman that I wasn't sure which frame I wanted and the one he grabbed from the display was perfect. Turnaround was one week and it was worth the wait! Pictures to come...

i needed something very simple
when i shipped over some frames from Afghanistan, not suprisingly, the glass broke along the way. Not knowing how much this would cost, i called the shop, gave them the size of the glass i needed, and got a estimate of about $23. not bad, so i brought my frames over, they took some measurements and had my glass ready in about 10 minutes.
fast, inexpesive, and exactly what i needed. -

I have a ton of stuff to get framed, but never want to pay the steep prices to get them custom framed.
I passed by this small store and noticed they were having a 50% off custom framing sale. I went in and they quickly helped me pick out the right frame for this map I had. I chose a more expensive frame and without matteing (the map didn't need it), it came to $70. $70!! I'm pretty sure at Michael's or a bigger shop, this would have been at least $100. I'm not sure how long the sale is going on for, but this seems to be a family run business and they were fast and professional.
It is across the street from the Cinema Drafthouse. -

I liked this place! I had a photograph framed for my husband's birthday, and it turned out great. Turn-around time was under a week, price was well below what I planned to pay, and they were very helpful. I'm a framing newbie, so they took the time to explain some things to me, and helped me pick out a nice frame. I can't vouch for anything complicated (ie: a print needing refurbishing or fancy glass), but for a basic frame job, this is your place.
Only bad comment I have is they advertise being open until 7pm on weekdays. I hoofed it over there after work, making it there by 6:50 pm, and they had closed early. Very irritating at the time, but still generally worth it for me in the grand scheme of things. You just might want to call and give them a head's up if you're arriving close to closing time. -

Admittedly, I usually leave this sort of task to my mother, so I must preface with I've never price-compared nor have I had this service done in the DC area prior to my visit to the Art and Framing Club.
That aside, I took three small watercolors that I purchased on a recent trip abroad to be framed here. I had a budget that I made up in my head, knowing this sort of custom service usually runs steep, and came within my budget with change to spare! Three cuts in the selected mat for 3 watercolors, one cool, rustic-looking frame of about 24"h x 12"w, and the matte glass came to under $100 (picture will be posted soon!)
While I can't vouch for the price being the best, it fit my frugal demands. I enjoyed the selection of over 100 mat colors, and found one that complimented not only all three water colors, but my wall paint color as well. The vast frame selection guaranteed a custom (and expensive) look, and the end result not only brought back beautiful memories of my trip, but was also stunning!
Located so close to my home, I've now found my go-to place for custom framework as well as relieved my mother of another task! yay for being grown up!
Bonus- they have an incredibble selection of pre-framed art for sale at really reasonable prices. -

I'm naturally suspicious of places that have long lasting "50% off everything" sales... this one has been going on for years now. Kind of reminds me of the "Everything must go" sale in "Don't Mess With The Zohan" (particularly because of the clerk who reminded me of someone from the movie!).
But for a custom job, for a fairly large painting, around $100 wasn't too bad in my eyes... I mean the $256 quote she said was retail was obviously too much, but the $128 I shelled out seemed a bit low to me. Then again, I just was looking for something with four edges that hangs. I can see less discriminating minds settling for a cheaper place, or more standard frames. -

I just brought in a (much smaller) second item for framing since my first came out so well, but this photo is a really sentimental family photo. They did a fantastic job - again! - and I love these people!

After being directed here by a friend, I've had three pieces framed by them. All three already had matting, so I can't vouch for that, but the three pieces I had done came to about $140 for framingI believe, which was pretty good. I didn't really ask them for any help or direction in picking my frame, so I'm not sure how good they are with that, but the price was right, the quality was good and the turn around time was excellent (1 week).

I went here to get three items framed based on these Yelp reviews - two personal items and one magazine article for our office. I can't wait to go back. They were extremely helpful and very reasonably priced. The finished products are perfect and their recommendations were spot on. They rushed one order for me and had it finished in 3 days with no extra charge. I strongly recommend them even though the store doesn't look top notch their work is and the price is unbeatable.
