This is a park for the kids. On any given day, there are birthday parties, going away parties, sports parties, and even family reunions! This park provides it all in a convenient and beautiful spot.

After September, the park is first come- first serve. You don't need to contact anyone to book a party. I had several parties here in the fall and while the sprinkler service was off, it was still a great place for family and friends to convene.

The parking can be a problem, but you can park at the Arsenal Mall and walk over. Then be prepared to no privacy. Everyone wants to be on the mall when it is a nice day in Watertown.

I'm officially getting old. I went to a going away party today where the infants and toddlers might've outnumbered the adults. I kid you not. No pun intended. Ok, after thinking about it for a second, I might've subliminally intended that. Wierd. Anyhow, this park is a great place to host a small or large party (without booze) if you are worried about having your house getting trashed. There are plenty of tables, large grilles, a very large open space with grass for sitting or games, trees, a water fountain that actually looks relatively safe for the kids to trounce around in, a playground, plenty of parking and a place for the kids and ladies to tinkle. I actually saw a clown at the park today for another one of the parties that was being hosted there. I think the people who would choose to be a clown for a living are wierd. And by the way, who would've ever known that there was a public park behind Marshall's?!
