No BS, just glass.
I'm restoring some old window sashes with cracked glass. Called up Arrow, quoted me a very reasonable price for new panes and said they'd cut it and have it ready in 20 minutes!
Thanks Arrow -

I had to get a leaking sealed window replaced. They came out, measured, quoted a very reasonable price and told me the unit would be in about 4 days. Three days later I got a call that the window had arrived and they wanted to schedule an install. I suggested "Well, now is good or anytime tomorrow or the next day". The technician was back within 10 minutes with the window and 30 minutes later it was installed. They completely cleaned up after the job and even re-pressed the bead in on the window screen.
Completely satisfied. -

I had two windows replaced by Arrow. David, the technician who did the work was such a neat guy. I enjoyed his company while he installed the windows and I appreciate his down to earth and friendly attitude.
The windows look great. David cleaned everything up after he finished. my friend, a contractor took a look at the windows after the job was done and he said they had been installed perfectly. I will use Arrow Glass again! -

Punctual. Professional. Dedicated. Foxy.
I had my fingers crossed they'd send over two lovely athletic women to replace my broken window. The guy I actually got had an impressive scar on his arm and did great work on the window which was a 7.3 on the difficulty chart. For someone out there, he is foxy, so my ruling stands.
They get busy. Expect to get on a waiting list. It's worth waiting.
He was careful about breaking out the cracked pane. Mindful of the nice oak floors. Cleaned up the mess inside and out. We talked about glass thickness and he didn't mind at all going back to the shop for a heavier grade plate.
Somehow he carried 30 pound 4 foot square sheet of glass and slid it in place single-handedly. Then it was my turn to hold the vacu-suck handle to keep the pane from popping out while he ran outside and climbed two stories to put in the glazing compound. It's pretty g*dm stressful holding on to a huge sheet of glass with just a suction cup when a man's life hangs in the balance. He gave me good instructions though. "When the little button starts to go red, pump the vacuum back up or the window will pop out. Don't let go, but don't pull too hard."
Hehehehehehheheheheheheheheh.
Window came out great. He even wiped off his fingerprints after. BEAUTIFUL. -

I have been using Arrow Glass for my business and home for almost 10 years now. I have always found them to be professional, timely, and fairly priced. Some of the services they have provided: emergency window replacement, mirrored closet door purchase and installation, and to replace a glass I broke in my coffee table. I have always felt comfortable referring them to anyone!

Not the kind of place you need often, but when you do you want people who care, like the folks at Arrow. We bought a house recently with those horrible crank windows. The worst design ever. We want to wait until next year to get new windows, so Arrow hooked us up with new clips and some new screens and essentially "babied" the old windows for us. Nice guy who came out and did the work, to boot.

We were extremely disappointed by Arrow Glass. We like supporting local businesses, but the woman who fields telephone calls (who I understand to be the owner's daughter) was extremely unprofessional and rude. It didn't help that our replacement glass was mis-measured (a fact that was only discovered AFTER the old glass was removed), so we were left with a large boarded-up hole for over a week.
The installers had left us with the impression that they'd be back the next day to remedy the error, but when two days had passed and I hadn't heard anything, I called and was told, "I can't help you with that. I can only help you with what's going forward." Silly me to expect a simple "I'm sorry for the inconvenience." Arguably, mismeasuring the glass is an excusable mistake and, arguably, it might take a while to get a new glass. But not calling customers with an update, over the course of 8 days, is inexcusable.
The installers were friendly, albeit late, but the office staff was so unprofessional that I'd look elsewhere. The installers failed to show up at the appointed day twice. In each case, I missed a day at work but never received a phone call to let me know my day was wasted. Instead, I had to call them to find out that I'd have to lose a third day of work.
Oh, and the installers didn't clean the new glass, so it was grimy and covered in fingerprints when they left. -

The guy who came out to do the estimate for my window repair was friendly and efficient but they NEVER CALLED ME BACK. I have called them twice in the last 3 days to find out what happened to my window repair. The first time they said I'd get a call back in an hour. Didn't happen. I called again the next day and had to leave a message. Again, no callback. I called a guy on Craigslist this morning and he came out and fixed it this afternoon.

Is their office staff deliberately trying to sabotage the business? The field rep was very nice and seemed competent, but the office staff does not follow through with written estimates. It takes multiple calls while they put you on hold forever and forget about you, promise you stuff and then don't follow through or call back to tell you there will be a delay. If you ever do get a quote you will probably, like me, find it much higher than others in the bay area, but chances are you'll never find out because the grossly incompetent office staff will lose your request, make promises they won't keep, neglect to call you back, and put you on hold till the cows come home.

I have used Arrow glass several times and have been very satisfied with their prices, product, and service. Most recently, I had a mirror made for installation by a contractor at home. I unwrapped just one corner of it at the store to view the edge finish and then took it home. When the contractor unwrapped the whole thing two weeks later, he found a chip in the back of the glass. It looked like an imperfection, and I suspect it was there when I picked it up (there was no chip or glass in the wrapper), but the piece had been transported by me and was in my possession for two weeks. When I brought it back to Arrow, they offered to cut a new mirror for me for no charge and with no hassle. I feel like this was the right result, but they also could have easily said that once the mirror leaves their shop, they can't be responsible for any damage. I really appreciated the customer service and integrity reflected in this transaction.
