I could go on and on about how amazing Arrington Vineyard is but I will try to keep it short. For starters, the view is simply breathtaking. As soon as you drive up the street you know you're in for something special.
The vineyard is usually pretty crowded but they have people directing you where to park so there is no confusion there. It's a pretty long walk up the hill but luckily they have people driving golf carts that will gladly get you up there.
Picnics, blankets, and chairs are welcome. There are tables throughout the property but you have to be pretty lucky to get one. The lodge is nice and the staff is very helpful. They offer free wine tastings but I have yet to get to partake in one. We always sign up for one but by the time it's our turn we have already been there for hours and have pretty much already tasted everything. :) My favorite is the Gewurtztraminer. It is a semi-sweet wine with aromas of lychee fruit, gala apple and sweet spices that lead to a blend of honeysuckle, pineapple, nectarine and vanilla flavors; sweet but balanced with fresh acidity.
I recommend bringing your own wine glasses. Otherwise they provide free plastic cups or you can purchase a glass in the lodge. In the summer they have live music on the weekends and it really adds to the whole experience. I can't wait to go back!
HINT: The bathroom lines can get pretty long in the lodge. There is also a bathroom behind the lodge that isn't usually as crowded. -

I've been to Arrington more times than I can count. It's a beautiful place to spend an afternoon, especially when the weather is nice. It can be a romantic date or a low key day with a group of friends.
Here are some things I've learned:
Bring yourself a picnic. May I recommend stopping at Martin's in Nolensville on your way up? You just don't want to get there hungry and end up buying the severely overpriced cheeses and crackers.
Get there early on weekends to avoid a long wait for the free tastings and to get a good picnic table or swing before it gets too crowded.
Try to dessert wine! The tasting comes with amazing chocolates.
You can get most of the wines for between $20-35/bottle. There are some fancy, pricier wines, but I'm not really what you would call a wine connoisseur, so a cheap-ish bottle of TN wine is fine with me. And no need to bring your own opener or glasses if you intend to drink on the grounds - they will uncork your purchase(s) for you and give you plastic cups.
If you happen to be there are the right time, Kix Brooks just might give you a tour! A group of us were there for a tour of the actual wine-making facilities on site (not always given, it was a special thing I think), and Kix showed up and decided to lead the one we happened to be on.
Be prepared to dodge children. I'm not sure why so many people bring KIDS to a VINEYARD, but drunk, inattentive parents lead to rude, rowdy children on the loose who can ruin your day if you let them. I'll spare you the rant about our particularly frustrating experience with this.Listed in: 2012 Yelp 100 Challenge!

Went here for a free tasting with some friends, during which we each tried six wines.
Be sure to try the raspberry dessert wine: a sample+ complimentary chocolate was a great way to end a tasting.
The property is surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and has several picnic tables and swings for visitors to relax and enjoy a glass or bottle.
I will definitely be back that next time I am in the Nashville area! -

I went on Sunday. What a view. Great music. Good wine. Bring a picnic lunch. It's like going to park to relax. Well worth it.

Sorry I can't jump on the rant-and-rave bandwagon, but I was pretty unimpressed with the overall experience I had here... I was in the area visiting for the weekend and we had a couple hours to kill in the afternoon. After seeing a billboard advertisement for Arrington, the bf and I decided we'd give it a whirl and go do a little wine tasting.
After a nice drive to the place, we pulled in. I was immediately excited about the rolling hills and beautiful vineyard -- and the prospect of tasting some new wines, of course. Cue in the disappointment: We walked in only to find out they were on nearly a two-hour long wait for wine tasting to even take place. What the eff?! Who would wait that long? 15 minutes, sure I can entertain myself for that long. TWO HOURS? Um...sounds like you need to up the ante on the size of your tasting room. Great for your business, lame for my afternoon plans. We turned around and walked out. If it had been a nice afternoon, I would've suggested we just buy a bottle and take it to one of the nice picnic tables they had set up outside near the vineyard. But since it was raining, we hightailed it outta there and called the whole experience a flop.
I've done a bit of wine tasting in my day and I don't mind waiting my turn when it's a busy day, but it is utterly ridiculous to spend hours waiting to pay for a few sips of wine. Not my cup of vino, if you get my drift. Just a tipoff to anyone planning to head out there, expect to wait if you're trying to get in on a weekend.Listed in: Worldly travels

This is just a great little spot south of Nashville. To have the ability to be transported to a new world in little under a couple of miles is a great treat when the opporunity for a vacation does not exist.
The wine tasting is Free to start, which is just lovely in my book. You have the opportunity to try six different wines. The stand out in my book is the Antebellum. It is a Tennessee Red Wine aged in Jack Daniels Whiskey barels. Now that is just delish in my book. The Encore Port is my second choice. Now, I am not a big port fan, but it went great with the dessert I brought. Lastly, I love the Firefly Rose. What a good wine. It goes great with BBQ.
Now at the end of March, music in the vines will start up. Free music on Saturdays is a great deal. The set up of the picnic tables, swings and grass that fills like pillows makes this place a gem to take in a lazy afternoon.
So pack up your snacks and support this local place. It is so, so, so, worth it! -

A great day escape from Nashville proper! WARNING: if you are a big ole wine snob, you might have a problem with our Tennessee wine. For an average dude or dudette, who likes to ask the liquor store clerk his favorite $9.99 bottle though, this place is both beautiful and tasty. I'd also like to stand up and say this wine is a MILLION times better than the stuff at Biltmore or other southern/small 'wineries' I've been to where everything taste like some sick version of fermented Welches.
Oddly contradicting myself, try the sweet raspberry wine! I'm not normally a fan of sweeter wine, but a small sample of the raspberry with the chocolate is a great way to end your tasting.
Is everything a little too pricey here? Yeah, but I mean - its a standard sort of restaurant environment mark-up since Kix Brooks needs to hire pretty tasting girls, handsome musicians and someone to man his fire pit while people picnic on his lovely grounds! I really think its still an economical and fun date or small group outing since you can pack your own food. (kudos to the couple eating fried chicken and doritos on a plastic red checked table cloth for reminding me I ain't far from Nashville)
Fun stop, kids would probably be bored after 10 minutes though. Its an adult playground ;) -

The vineyards allowed for a great day out of the city. It wasn't far from Nashville, and it was very easy to find. We sampled eight wines before purchasing the dessert wines. Oh my word, they were so good! The servers were very helpful and informative and helped us choose the eight wines that we'd enjoy most based on our preferences.
The patio and back room have ample seating, but I imagine it could be fairly busy in the summer and spring. -

Great place to spend a sunny weekend afternoon, but slightly underwhelmed by the wine. We had a Chardonnay with cheese & crackers, but found it to be a little too sweet. Though it was still refreshing under the afternoon sun.
Still, couldn't beat the gorgeous day spent relaxing drinking a little wine. The surrounding wilderness is beautiful and it was nice to get out of the city a little. Definitely recommend, just don't expect the wine to blow your socks off. -

What a perfect way to spend a Tuesday afternoon!
Mind you, I am normally working (or pretending to) on weekday afternoons but I was able to escape to Arrington Vineyards this past Tuesday for a little low-key birthday goodness.
My date and I arrived at around 3ish and practically had the place to ourselves (staff informed us that Tuesdays and Wednesdays are their slowest days of the week) which was refreshing from the normal hustle and bustle. We decided on a bottle of the Big Fox Red ($23.99) which has notes of vanilla, strawberry, and black tea. Great price and even greater taste! This wine is actually named after a fox that hangs around on the Arrington grounds. How. Cute.
The staff were super friendly and offered us a complimentary wine tasting (up to 8 choices) and I happily sampled their family of whites and reds.
Some standouts were their full-bodied 2008 Cabernet ($27.99) which had a palette-friendly blend of "chocolate-cherry, cedar and currant, followed by a cherry, currant and plum flavors with hints of cola and clove." I also rather enjoyed the 2008 Syrah ($27.99) due to the spicy berry and vanilla oak notes. We were also given some nibbles of chocolate to pair with our dessert wine tastings that were produced by Germantown's Cocoa Tree. Yum.
At the register, we picked up a stogie to smoke as we planned to leisurely lounge in the grassy hills and what better to do?!
As we made our way to a hilltop, we laid our blanket down near a swing-set (how charming) and laid out for hours with our vino, cigar, and witty banter under the Tennessee sun. Why have I not done this before, again? Sheer bliss.
I would love to come out again with a group of friends for their Music in the Vines events that occur on the weekends!
You may also order and pick up Arrington Vineyards wines at various Nashville businesses
TIP: Four different Wine Clubs (2-12 bottles quarterly/$67-$305) are available to select from which include the Red Fan Club, White Fan Club, or Mixed Fan Club where you will receive selected bottles of Arrington Vineyards' Wine right to your doorstep quarterly. A Fan's Choice Club option is also available. -

Our visit to Arrington Vineyards this past weekend was wonderful! We arrived in the evening to take advantage of the Music in the Vines event which is from 5-9pm.
With picnic basket and blanket in tow, we enjoyed the 2009 Chardonnay at $21.99 per bottle. At this price, you can't beat the delicious apple and nectarine flavors this Chardonnay has. With Jim Michie in the background and candles lit, it was the perfect setting for a romantic evening.
We will definitely be back soon for some possible birthday festivities and to take advantage of the free wine tastings with friends later this month. I can't believe after living in Murfreesboro for so long, that we missed this gem just a few minutes away.

Don't worry about parking. They offer golf carts that will pick you up and take you back to your vehicle. -

I took her here for our second date and it was literally the best date either of us has ever been on... we still talk about it. I wish I could take all of the credit but I have to give a lot to this place. It is such an amazing winery. Very friendly staff, tons of different places around the winery to relax, talk, and take in the scenery (and great wine!!). We had such a wonderful time.
We started by scheduling a wine tasting which was way too easy to do. We didn't wait long, but had time to buy a bottle and sit on the deck while we waited, relaxed, and enjoyed the wine and each other. There are swings in several of the trees out overlooking the vineyards where you can take it all in. What good memories. You can also walk around down in the vineyards which was so awesome! It starts to get more and more crowded as the day goes on but it is still surprisingly fun and relaxing despite the large crowds... there is just so much room. I had a blanket that we laid out and had our own spot right out under a tree where we spent a lot of quality time ;) haha. Again, great memories.
Seriously, the best date place around Nashville to take that really special person. Very highly recommended! Six stars!!!!! -

My boyfriend, his parents, and I took their Jeep down to Arrington Vineyards last Sunday. Not only was the ride there (with the top off of the Jeep of course) amazing, but the time spent at the vineyard was great as well.
These people know how to take care of their guests! When we parked the car & started walking up to the main house, an employee in a golf cart came by to give us a ride! Such an awesome perk on a hot day carrying all the goods for a picnic.
Free wine tasting of 4 or 5 wines, which was great since the person conducting the private tasting knew so much about the wines. They have some absolutely amazing wines (decent prices), great space for a nice picnic, and live music! -

Okay, so as a native of Northern California, a winery has some tough shoes to fill. I saw a recent review calling Arrington Vineyards the V. Sattui of the south and I have to agree. There is a huge hill that has a plethora of picnic tables scattered around and a nice patio area that has live music. There is also a nice tasting room, which is a little small, but still does the job. There was a private party on the patio, but I understand there is a restaurant there.
The wine is okay, nothing spectacular. Of course they have Blackberry and Raspberry wine which made me a little nauseous, but lets face it, it's about knowing your customer and after all this is the south.
What's missing is the gourmet market. You can bring your own food which is nice, but I would like to see a V. Sattui like gourmet food market to buy some nice cheeses, breads and salads. Until they find a way to get that, bring your own. Pack a picnic, bring the kids, and bring your own glasses otherwise you'll have to drink out of plastic unless you want to pay (and don't forget the mosquito repellent).
I really can't wait to go again!! -

Been here quite a few times and had a blast every time.
Great place to come and bring a picnic for a cheap date. I have come here and combined potluck picnics with friends and made some great memories. Make sure you get there early and grab a good table or two. Seems like they do a great job of bringing in artists to play as well, I've primarily heard bluegrass and jazz.
The wine is... wet and contains alcohol. And frankly, that's all I've really asked of it. They don't really seem to care if you bring your own stuff; I generally will at least buy some to ease my conscience, but frankly it is a little pricey for what it is.
One thing to beware of, if it starts to rain, things can get a little hairy as generally only the performer's tent and the porch around the main building are the only safe havens. Or your two year old could just end up wandering through the rain for an hour, oblivious to the soaking he is getting. On that topic, really not a bad place for kids. They also don't seem to mind if you smoke cigars, either. And nothing is better than the combination of alcohol, toddlers and cigars.
Another note of caution, the bathroom situation can be limited at best. Frequently they have had a trailer with the nicest portable potties I have ever seen to provide back-up which REALLY helps. So if you are cursed like me with a thimble-sized bladder, look around before you end up waiting in line.Listed in: Increasingly poor decisions, Stuff to do this summer

Arrington Vineyard's Rose is out for the summer - get it while you can, it's dry yet flavorful and very easy to drink on a hot day out on your patio.
Also, I dont know if it's just me, but I think this place is getting more popular. Plan on waiting at minimum 15 minutes, maximum 1 hour for a tasting. Bring a picnic lunch and stretch out for a while, the hour goes by pretty quickly.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Review from Paul K.
I've had some fun times here. I think the wine is fairly decent, little bit overpriced, but hey if you're Kix Brooks and you've got a solid draw that's unrelated to your music, charge whatever for it. It's good.
The tastings I've enjoyed, I find that my tastes run toward the lower-priced wines, which is good because the KB-xxx wines are both very pricey and taste a little like beaten cat piss in a bottle to me.
The scenery is great, and when they break out some logs for a fire the whole place just gets some sort of air of awesomeness to it that unfortunately I am not a good enough wordsmith to convey. I'll say I like this place significantly better on the cooler days as it just is crisp and beautiful out. Sort of a Kodacolor glow to the place.
Occasionally you'll get a tour with KB himself. I don't think I've ever been given a tour by a country music star before this, but now I have and I both learned a lot and now know KB likes saying "bunghole" a lot in reference to the wine barrel bungholes. it was a nice bit of crass in a class situation and was much appreciated.
A friend of mine ran into KB one day at Arrington and claims he let him drive his car around... I don't know for sure if this is true or my leg is being pulled on something I don't really care about, but it does fit in with the relaxed and fun nature of this place.
It can get crowded, I discovered that there were two tasting rooms for when that happens (one is downstairs below the other).
If you get a chance to, sample the raspberry dessert wine, they give you some chocolate from a place I believe called Schakolad. The combination of the two things made me immediately purchase a bottle of the wine and head to Schakolad to purchase some of the chocolate... it was, unfortunately not open that day. And I missed it by 20 minutes the next attempt.
So if you're going to Arrington, make sure to check out Schakolad's hours, because after you try the dessert wine and chocolate combo you're going to want to drive to Cool Springs and purchase some. Also, when you get to Cool Springs and are completely lost looking for it just ask where the Starbucks is and it's in that area. Enough about that though.
The whole place is pretty incredible, it's not like a California or French winery though as most of the grapes are imported, Tennessee just is not grape-growing territory, but you will see some grape setups that make the end-result at least partially Tennessee grown.
One word of warning - I've seen it in other reviews and personally, it seems a lot of parents who bring their kids here do not keep them in control. An otherwise great time can be very quickly assaulted by a small child running screaming at the top of their lungs and then immediately falling headfirst into a fire pit rock. If you hate kids, stay away from this place early Saturday and Sunday.
Parking is a breeze generally... if you're parked out in BFE they've usually got golf carts running up to you to pick you up and take you to the winery.Listed in: Places you can take your…

Babysitters can be awesome. Babysitting itself is a great way to earn extra money and learn responsibility before one is old enough to work an actual job. When I was younger I babysat until I was deemed unfit due to an unfortunate event involving missing liquor.....but that's besides the point.
This review isn't about missing liquor or babysitting or even about parents who deem it acceptable to bring their children to a winery. No, no, no. This review is about a responsible adult sipping tasty, albeit marginally overpriced, wine whilst taking in the beautiful rolling hills of middle Tennessee at a local winery while Max, king of all wild things, screams his head off and swings his toy sword dangerously close to my head.
That's all. Maybe it's a local thing but I hardly find it appropriate to bring children to a winery. Yes, Arrington Vineyards can be romantic. Yes, there is nice scenery and yes, the wine is quite tasty. I would, however, recommend visiting Arrington during the week if at all possible unless you think it's somehow romantic to sip wine in the middle of a bustling playground. -

This review is based on the Vineyard and Retail center, and not the overall quality of the wine. First of all, this place is gorgeous. Secondly, the staff that operated the tasting center were friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. We had a business party here and enjoyed our catered food on tablecloth covered picnic tables.
The fact that you could taste 8 different varieties of wine was a great bonus, and the knowledge of the staff made it a pleasure to taste the wines.
I will definitely be back, if for no other reason than to marvel in the amazing view. Well done. -

Arrington Vineyards is a little jewel of a place for outdoor wine tasting, picnics, and even some live music (on weekends) and socializing. It's about 30 minutes south of Nashville, and well worth the drive.
Be warned, it is a popular hang out on the weekend, so go early to sign up for a wine tasting and to get a primo picnic table on the hillside near the fire pit or on the porch of the lovely main building. You can go for free, if you don't buy wine to enjoy with your picnic, but what's the point in that?
The locale is beautiful, with mountain-ish hills in the distance and the grape vines nearby giving a distinct european air to the valley. The wines are decent- nothing fancy. However, their rasperry wine paired with some chocolate is a pretty decadent dessert! -

If you are looking for something to do on a perfect spring or summer weekend, Arrington vineyards should be the top of your list. It really feels like a little piece of Napa just about a 30 minute drive south of Nashville. Bring a small basket of cheese and crackers and glasses - they provide the wine, the picnic table, the view and will even open the bottle for you. We love taking the picturesque drive down here. A great place to entertain out-of-town guests, too.
Highly recommended. -

What a wonderful addition to Middle Tennessee! Only thirty minutes outside of Nashville, this vineyard is definitely worth the drive. Everyone there is incredibly friendly, the wines are amazing and the jazz concerts in the evening are definitely the way to go! We made the mistake of not bringing a picnic dinner both times we went.
Great for a date night or evening with friends!
This is a great place to bring people who think Nashville is all about country music and overalls. -

1) Free wine tasting and free music on the weekend (at least on Saturday as thats the only day I've been) Tasty wine.
2) Oh yeah...you can bring in your own food. We've brought in pizza one week and delicious finger foods from Publics another.
3) Award winning wine
4) The view is pretty spectacular as well.
They do also host concerts--so you might check the calendar on the website.

Undoubtedly it's always a bit disappointing. Wines are ok. Chardonnay good even though I don't normally love chardonnays. Dry reds ok. KB 308 good but is it $50 good? I've had better wines for less. This is an atmosphere place with some tolerable wine. Pourers can be a little rude or indifferent. A lot of attitude due to stars owning the place. I'm indifferent but it's probably best winery in middle Tennessee if that means anything.

We LOVE Arrington Vineyards and picnic there quite often. If you're lucky enough to get one of the tall tables on their covered patio.... you're in for an amazing view and some delicious wine!
Check out their facebook page or their website and get their early before a live band is scheduled to play... Nashville is famous for it's great music, and Arrington doesn't disappoint in their talent selection. Live music and great wine really make this place one of the BEST (and still fairly undiscovered) places to visit in Nashville. During the week... you won't have to wait to taste and you're bound to get a fabulous table.
Most people assume that "Tennessee Wine" isn't going to be great... but Arrington grapes are actually grown (most of them) in the Napa Valley and only blended in Tennessee and as a wine-o I can tell you that their Syrah and Cabernet are some of the BEST I've ever had (Napa or otherwise). So if you've been to other Tennessee or southern wineries and aren't visiting Arrington because you think it'll suck... don't! It doesn't!
Complimentary tastings and around $25 for a bottle.... stop by whole foods and pick up some cheeses, meats and have a relaxing "picnic" in an upscale, as close to Napa as it's gets, Tennessee vineyard. If you're lucky, maybe you'll see Kix Brooks! -

10 reasons why Arrington is great.
1 - Unlike Napa, they kept pouring until 9pm!
2 - Perched on top of a hill. If we actually got there before sunset, it would have been the perfect view to watch the valley beneath us light up in oranges and reds.
3 - Let me say it again, they poured until 9pm!!
4 - Free concerts
5 - Picnic tables all around (on the grounds, upper level, lower level or just throw out a blanket on the grass)
6 - Fantastic atmosphere
7 - Good wines
8 - Really nice employees
9 - I didn't use it, but they had golf carts carting people up and down the hill
10 - Nice variety of wines to choose from -

LOVE this winery. I've been a couple times, and both were great. Taste, then buy their great wines. I'm obsessed with the Raspberry dessert wine. Bring some delicious snacks and sit outside to enjoy your purchase. Even on a chilly day, they had the porch upstairs enclosed and heaters out for us. It's beautiful and worth the drive if you're visiting Nashville. Can't wait to go back next time I'm visiting!

My home away from Napa. I call this the V. Sattui, minus the market, of the South. For those of you who have not been to V. Sattui here is a brief description; large grounds with lots of people picnicking. This place is less about wine, sorry Kix, and more about the experience. This sentence isn't trying to be rude. Places that are all about the wine are usually, all about the wine. No large picnics or groups hanging out, just a tasting room and some good wine! Now as someone who loves wine Arrington Vineyards wine is good, it's no Cakebread nor is it Boones. It sits happily in the middle of the wine spectrum. I come to Arrington to sit in the "countryside" and drink wine in public without being arrested. I typically get the rose or one of the whites because I tend to come in the summer when it's unbearably hot. Sorry red, unless I am hopping back into a limo and heading on to another winery I can't drink you. They also make blueberry and strawberry wine. Kix does a great job of marketing and making it a family friendly environment. My only qualm is that they really need a family bathroom. On Sunday I sat in line for 30 minutes while one mother told everyone her kid was potty training and she needed to cut the line. She cut 4 kids who were of the same age and blatantly said to her friend she uses that all the time and one day when we have kids we'll understand. Yeah thanks, not everyone wants to have kids lady. So no, I do not hate kids, but I'm at a winery. They need a bathroom just for the parents and their toddlers. Each kid takes like 5 minutes each!
Back to the Vineyard, they have music regularly, cigar nights, Cabot cheese and cured meat. Hint: If you taste the dessert wines they'll give you chocolate! You won't be able to just walk in and taste, there is usually an hour wait but thankfully you can give them your cell number and enjoy the views. If you notice the tasting staff consists of hot little things who know a little about wine but not a lot. When asked about the grapes and what was grown on the property she didn't know. She pulled out a chart and told us to look. Then when asked about a specific grape varietal she still did not know. Again, less about the wine, more about the experience. Overall I love Arrington and I am more than happy about its existence. It's a short drive from the Nash and always a great afternoon. So drink up my friends, play some yard games and bring a DD! -

Don't let the Arrington, TN address scare you. If you are like me, you're wondering where the heck Arrington is anyway. It's basically Franklin. At least, that's how I describe where the winery is. From Nashville (Green Hills) it took us about 25 or 30 minutes on mostly interstate to get to this new winery.
A few friends and I decided to check out Kix Brooks and friends vineyards this weekend because it was so nice out. I guess we thought we would get a tour or something, but there is really not anything to tour at this point. The vines are still new (a few years old) so, while Arrington is making their own wine, they are importing grapes from other areas of the United States until theirs mature. No worries on that. We still enjoyed the wine!
They have 6 reds, 6 whites, and 2 dessert wines--your free visit includes a tasting--also free--of any 4 of the wines (with the exception of one of the reds). They are pretty generous with their pours as well--I personally enjoyed the whites better than the reds, but thought all were decent for Tennessee wine (again, I'm no wine snob!). It's no Napa but...
Expect to wait about 20-30 minutes on a busy day once you arrive to get to the tasting bar (get on the reservation list right when you get there) but in the meantime, take a picnic lunch or dinner and enjoy the beautiful scenery at one of the many picnic tables or out on the patio by the band--yes, they offer live music on the weekends! They do have cheese for sale, but you can bring anything to eat or drink on the premises--no alcoholic beverages of course! Plenty of wine for sale.
The only negative we experienced on our visit was the hostess--she was super stressed, and was pretty rude--I just don't think she had ever a) had hostess training of any sort and/or b) had never worked in a situation where she would have to keep her head together when there was a lot going on around her. She was pretty annoying, but we didn't let it bother us...everything else was fine!
This is a great place for a date, or family picnic, or just to spend time outside, and away from the city, on a nice day. They are open 365 days a year--times vary from weekdays to weekends, just check the website. Carve out a few hours on your next sunny day to check out this winery. Nice change of pace! -

We visited this winery on a Friday afternoon. It was lovely. The valley is gorgeous, so relaxing to sit and visit on the patio and enjoy a good bottle of wine.
We tried 6 different wines and decided on the Stag White to have on the patio. We later purchased a gewurztraminer, and some truffles to take back to our hotel, as well as having them ship 6 bottles to our home.
I loved the Raspberry wine with the truffles, it was a great combination.
I can't wait to plan on a concert at their vineyard, it has to be a perfect setting for a concert. -

Who would have thought that such an amazing little gem exists so close to Nashville. I am very familiar with Napa wineries as I lived in San Francisco for a year and would visit frequently and this place could fit in perfectly. The grounds are beautiful with picnic tables and swings. They have an upstairs and downstairs tasting rooms. The wine itself is okay. Very sweet, very different than Napa wines, but good enough for TN.

This place is simply awesome for a winery and I live in California. The grounds are beautiful. Parking and tastings are free. The KB is the best wine on the menu, but will run you about $50 a bottle. We ended up purchasing 3 bottles after the tastings and enjoyed the White Stag out on the covered screened in porch next to the fire place. The views were magnificent and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. If you are in Middle Tennessee and enjoy wine, you must go here.
