Love, love, love me some Arriba!
My husband and I lived in Butler for a year, and we ate here practically every week. I love the wide selection of food they offer - but I usually wind up getting their enchiladas with green sauce (my all-time favorite). You literally walk in, sit down and order (you also get chips with 3 different salsas : hot, green, and chunky).
Never had an issue with any of the waitstaff, or seeing any waitresses 'recycle' any of the chips. I have had really good meals here and usually leave stuffed. It's a nice place to meet up with friends or just go out for a quick, reasonably priced meal. Yay Arriba!
One tip : just park on one of the side streets. The parking lot in the back of the building tends to get parked up and hard to navigate. It's easier just to park on a side street and walk.Listed in: I am a Girl of 100 Lists

We went here recently for a late dinner, and we had a good experience. I like the numerous combination options, and the prices were very reasonable. The chips and salsa were good, and the service was fast and friendly. Everything you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. Nothing we ordered really blew us away, but everything was good and we would go back!

For the perfect pairing with what you are sending down the old hatch, head to Arriba's for some tasty, seasoned tortilla chips. The salsa tends to be the consistency of water, but the hot variety delivers on its spicy promise. The two types served with the chips could use more chunk to give it heft and scoopability. The server (a.k.a. bartender) greeted us promptly, but tossed down menus and coasters with an echoing "thud." The other bartender came by with small appetizer plates and paper napkin-wrapped silverware. He departed with an "I'll be back with chips & salsa." He never returned, but the other bartender did take our drink and food orders. We ended up getting an order of the chicken nachos and mozzarella sticks. When the chips & salsa failed to appear, one of my fellow diners went up to her to follow-up. She informed us that you do not get chips & salsa with appetizer orders. We said, "We have no problem paying for them, but we would still like them." She brought them over and was pleasant about the whole misunderstanding. She was prompt on the delivery of everything. I did not have the mozzarella sticks when they arrived. They were simply the deep fried, frozen variety and they did not tempt my taste buds. One of my other fellow diners said that the sticks were "uber crunchy on the outside, and gooey on the inside." You could saw one in half, and it didn't respond as though it were rubber. The nachos looked really fresh, though, and had juicy, shredded chicken and my favorite cheese for atop chips: nacho cheese. Delicious and a great compliment to the beverages. Sometimes, you just need a plate of saltiness to go with a cocktail. The two are synonymous with Happy Hour, and that does not mean it has to be between the hours of 3 & 6 p.m. Any hour can be happy. I would like to see if Arriba makes my tummy happy if/when I return for a full-fledged meal.

It's a bit cheesy with the decor, however the service has always been fantastic, and food is pretty good.

OK, so when you first walk in there, it is warm and welcoming. They have the standard chips and salsa on the table. Chips, decent but a little salty.
Our waitress was overbearing . I understand that not all Mexican restaurants will have people who can speak Spanish, but at least be able to pronounce menu items. We wanted to go there for the Margarita special. She then acted as if she did not know what we were talking about. It is on-line and on their sign outside for goodness sake. Nightly specials.
She came back to us several times and was just very loud.
Food was OK. Nothing grand, but it was an overall awkward dining experience. I would never go there again. -

Don't understand the negative reviews. I've been here numerous times, especially for lunch, and it always goes over well. Food is good, standard fare. Chimmie's are fantastic. Smaller lunch portions are available. Thanks to the smoking ban I prefer to sit in the bar area.

Food was standard for mexican food, but when we saw the waitress recycle the chips from a table that had left, that grossed us all out. Um that is a health dept issue that should be alerted!!
