I never intended to stay here and eat.. since it really looks like one of those spots that is meant for quick pick up and delivery.

    Staff was friendly.
    The price is cheap.
    The food is great.

I would say yes not the best.. but i have to be fair and say that if you need some grinds and want it by the airport.. this place is not the worst place to be.. i see people ordering sandwiches and pizza.. again its average.. and the sandwiches are decent.. but its a far cry from the expensive crap at the airport.. so..
lets see if i had to choose between the two.. and a quiet setting to eat my food.. id come here.

Aroma's serves the worst spaghetti and meatballs I have ever tasted in my life.  The side salad I ordered was lettuce and not much else, the spaghetti pasta itself was overcooked on the verge of becoming mush.  They poured just enough incredibly bland sauce to barely cover the noodles situated in the middle of the dish and the garlic toasted bread was extremely tough to chew, because the cook heated it up in the microwave just before serving it to me.

The dirty white tiled decor does nothing to distract the diner, as well as the dour expressions of the 30-something couple who takes the orders at the counter.  The prices are not too cheap compared to the quality of the food.  I will never go there again!  They should pay me to eat there!

    2 STARS.

5 STARS for the great tasting food--I ordered Aroma's Vegetarian pizza and a soda. Wow, it was very tasty.

-3 STARS for the lack of cleanliness. The place is obviously NOT really intended to eat in, but to get food delivered from or picked up from. The bathroom of this place (same one for employees) is disgusting and had NO SOAP. Right after I went in and had to do the water-only rinse and wipe on my pants (no towels either), one of the cooks went in.

If nasty hands are making my food, I might've puked if I hadn't been so damn hungry.

I mentioned the lack of soap to the guy who rang up my pizza when it was ready, and he casually mentioned that he'd take care of it. I did not get the impression that he really cared about it. The bathroom has to have not been properly cleaned in well over a month.

I will never eat here again, nor consider ordering anything from out of this gross kitchen. If you don't believe me, just peek in. The health department would have a field day in this place.

Gotta say, Sydney S., if you walked into this place and ordered spaghetti and meatballs with a side green salad, I'd expect a one star rating.  This is a dive with a grill, a Ms. Pac Man and a couple of sliding door fridges with sodas.  To even call it "decor" gives it too much credit.  If you're really ordering an Italian meal here, you've gotta know you're taking a risk.  If you want a cheesesteak though, guess what?  It's pretty OK.

Ask any limo driver around about this place.  They all know it because it's probably 200 feet off the 101/San Bruno Ave/Airport exit.  A driver I know told me the best cheesesteaks in the area were here.  And you know what?  Speaking with 15 years in Philly behind me, it was not that bad a steak.  They need to clean the grill better, and the peppers weren't terrific, but the meat was OK and the bread was OK and the cheese was OK.  I've come to the conclusion that an OK cheesesteak is the best you can do out here, so . . . if you see a blue Chevy Nova and it's towing a small church, I figure that'd probably be the one.

Aromas food is by far one of the best restaurants in San Bruno. They have a huge selection of food and there Philly cheese steaks are to die for. I am a regular customer there and the service is great.
