Review from Alan G.
Omaha, NE
I recently moved from Chicago and Aromas is the only place in Omaha that I have been able to get a GOOD (and strong, if desired) coffee. I went to caffeine dreams - very weak and insipid. Scooters is weak as well. Aromas uses beansmith coffee which apparently is a local roaster and I am quite impressed with them (try the ethiopia sidamo).
The staff are almost always friendly and quick. Free, Fast internet and the bakery (bliss) that is attached is icing on the cake (pun intended).
Great atmosphere as well. Not dumpy like many of the places I've tried...
I will keep coming back here. -

Wonderful coffeeshop, with absolutely delicious cupcakes. I've had a Chai Tea here and a Latte, and both were delicious. They have a wonderful bookshelf and couches, so if you just want a place to curl up with some coffee and read, this is a great place for it.

You know I like the windows, I like the outdoors, and the couches were comfy and the wi-fi quick.
I honestly cannot remember the coffee. I guess that makes it unremarkable. Bummer if you're trying to be a coffeehouse. -

Good hangout spot.
Very comfortable--nice and roomy, either outdoors or in. Good Wi-Fi (see photo). -

I can't speak to the coffee quality - but the tea selection is respectable, loose leaf and available in pots. We shared a pot of Gunpowder Green, which was pretty good. Atmosphere is very trendy and spacious. Would definitely go back.

Probably my favorite coffee house in all of Omaha. The atmosphere is clean, cozy, and quiet. The service is good. Plus they also have tables and chairs outside for all you who wish to enjoy your beverages or baked goods outside.
A quiet place to sip a hot (or cold) caffeinated beverage and work, this is my first choice. If you're looking to bring a couple friends down to have coffee or tea and chat a little, do not let this review discourage you. It might be quiet but all around, it still have a chill atmosphere where you are safe to mingle.
They also have a bakery. It's absolutely fantastic. I believe you can even order for special events. (Totally worth it if you like quality baked goods and you're trying to impress someone!) I had a ginger peach cupcake with butter cream frosting on my last visit that was phenomenal! -

My primary reason for coming is convenience, on the mornings when I wake up at Old Market Lofts. Respectable lattes (only thing I ever order), but if there is a line, some days they are sooooooo sloooooow. 8 minutes feels like a lifetime when you're in desperate need of a caffeine fix. Some of the staff can be a little snooty and superior too.

My favorite hot cocoa in the world has now become the worst hot cocoa in the world. Disappointed. Perhaps the guy behind the counter was lazy, perhaps they changed the recipe, who knows.
Still a nice place to study, and I'll go back, but can't recommend the drinks as whole-heartedly now that my go-to beverage exemplified such mediocrity.Listed in: Places to frequent

It's a nice spot and far enough from Blue Line or Starbucks that it's a place I end up every once and a while. But when I do, I prefer to get tea instead of coffee. I'm not sure what kind of beans they use or where they come from, but for some reason I'm just not a huge fan of their coffee.
The espresso drinks are pretty decent and the baked goods from Bickford are awesome too, so combine that with free Wi-Fi and local art, and it's a good spot for a convenient stop if you're in the neighborhood. -

this is a very good local coffee shop, not part of a chain. very cool space, not a big fan of the coffee but the espresso drinks are very good. dont miss a chance to check out Bickford bakery while you are there, that may be worth the trip alone.

Pretty neat college campus coffeehouse. Free wifi. If Kate is working then you are being served by the best, so don't overlook that tip jar. Since I was only there for one night, and hence one visit. I only got to try the Mocha Latte which was wonderful. Can't remember which coffee I used but they said they always have three daily selections. Plenty of spacious seats. Oh and free wifi.

The coffee can be hit and miss, but it's by no means terrible. The service can be slow, especially on a Saturday morning during Farmer's Market, but I've noticed an improvement over the past couple of years. I like that it's out of the way a bit. Great atmosphere with the option to sit inside or on the patio to people watch. The bakery (under new ownership?) offers a great selection of sinful concoctions to accompany your beverage. Plus, it's local - ya gotta support that.

Despite the slightly odd location (under the Old Market Lofts), Aromas is a great place to have a cup of coffee. I really like the quiet, cool, exposed brick interior. This combined with the free wifi makes Aromas a great spot to study.
