BEWARE!!! Listen to the negative reviews! They have the worse customer service when you have a problem! They lie about calling you back and avoid your calls when there is a problem with the finished project! BEWARE!!

DONT USE THEM!!! The estimate was for half a day to repair a leak/replace shingles for $450, even though I had the shingles, but gave them their required $200 down. I called back and asked to cancel because I heard from another it was too high to repair a few shingles. They said I would have to pay a cancellation fee, even though that was not told to me when I signed the contract via the blank iPad put in front of me, and was told that would be emailed to me later. So, it took them two weeks to find the time, and the entire job from pulling up in front of my house, to driving away took less than 45 minutes.

So, by this logic, they charge $562.50 an hour for roof repair. They did use a few nails, and a couple squirts of adhesive. But when you take away those pennies, it was still an extremely overpriced repair, if it even stopped the leak - I have yet to find out.

They refused to reduce my price and claimed they were not able to because I signed that blank iPad screen. But if there were additional costs to the repair, they would have been able to make an adjustment for that to the contract.

So, this place will NEVER be contacted by me again. And hopefully every person reading this review will follow that advice. Every person I have spoken to after this, has told me NEVER use Arnold's!! Wish I saw them before I signed that blank iPad

When we received our quote and signed the contract to have our roof fully torn off and replaced, the service seemed to be professional and we felt confident. The day of our job, a crew showed up to our house, never spoke to us and left without doing ANY cleanup despite the fact that we verified at time of contract signing that a full cleanup job would be done immediately after the roof was replaced. When we contacted our project manager, he texted back "smh the one weekend I'm out of town".... not very professional to not even be in the area if you're managing my project. What was much worse was that when I asked why no one would even tell us they did not clean up before leaving and placed us and our dogs in danger of stepping on one of the hundreds of nails left around our property I was told they couldn't tell us because no one who had been on our job site spoke English. When I later told the project manager I wanted to re-discuss price before finalizing payment since we did not receive what our contract stated we would I was yelled at by my project manager while I was home alone and he was standing outside my house - as a small female this was not only unprofessional, but also threatening. Even after I pointed out the various beer caps we found along with the nails around our house they had the nerve to ask if I was sure that the beer caps were not ours.... we do not drink beer and definitely did not purchase Mexican beers with a name I'd never heard of. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. On top of being rude and having terrible customer service, you pay professional company prices to get cheap side job quality and guys who don't clean up hundreds of nails or the beer caps from the alcohol they drink on the job.


I finally got them to take a small amount off of our total price, only after stating I was about to contact their insurer and the BBB. However, it's been months and they're now contacting us again to come back by the house to make sure something was even done properly because they don't even know if they did it properly the first time around and the City of Toledo inspectors are requiring that they check. Please save yourself a headache and take your business elsewhere.

Do not buy from here if you can help it. They installed a shower for me. It took longer than they said and cost more than what they said. They pulled the old trick of making a quote, pulling it apart, and then saying there was more work than they thought. I paid almost double what we had agreed upon.

Then, it had a lifetime warranty, thank God, because it broke down and cracked 6 MONTHS later. I called them 5 times before they would make a time to come out. It took about a month. Then, once they did, they sent someone out to look at it, and no one else for weeks. Then they finally fixed it, by patching the cracks with ugly white paneling. I had paid like 7 thousand dollars for a beautiful purple shower and now it has big white patches down the corners. It's a huge huge, disappointment, which I am still paying on. What a let down.

Arnold's, has proven to be the most unprofessional business I've ever encountered. What turned into a two month delay, also turned into a 3 month nightmare that originally was suppose to be a 7 week renovation. The contractor we were assigned was completely awesome on the other hand, and tried his hardest to push the project to completion. I'm not sure if Arnold's is good at anything else they do, but if you are looking for any interior home renovations, DO NOT GO THROUGH ARNOLDS. They took advantage of our income and over charged us for everything.

Most of the problems were all miscommunication inside of Arnold's. They didn't have a problem cashing the check we gave them super fast though.

Their current 2.5 stars is too high. We had Arnolds remodel our master bathroom and when completed it looked amazing. The tub was removed and large walk in shower was installed with a lot of tile and natural stone. When the job was completed the tile and stone were sealed using their recommended product. About 3 months later the stone on the floor started to become foggy in a 1 foot circle and has continued to get larger. We've had them out several times and their representative that looks at the floor always agrees that something is wrong, probably the grout work. Once they talk to the owner then it becomes not their problem, they got their money. We're talking about a 22k remodel. Customer service is about the worse I've ever dealt with. Steer clear and chose someone more reputable that cares about their craftsmanship and customers.

We had our master bathroom completely remodeled. It now looks and feels like a luxury spa, thanks to the wonderful professional work Arnold's Home Improvement provided. They came to the house and sat with us to discuss exactly what we wanted and gave us a timely quote and estimate on how long it would take to complete. We met with our sales person at the Tile Shop and picked out all of our supplies. The guys who did the work were quite skilled and conscience of keeping things clean. They laid carpet protector down on the floors to keep from tracking dust and dirt throughout the house, and cleaned up every day when they were done. Our bathroom is beautiful! I will be using them again for a kitchen remodel in the future.

Do as you want with this but after I posted my 1st review a sales manager did call to reschedule with me. This time they actually showed up but since I was not replacing my tub just everything else in my bathroom they were unable to do my job. I was told they will not take on job without a "wet area" redo. Someone dropped the ball cuz I never mention wanting a tub replaced just a bathroom redo one would have thought that someone might have asked if I was wanting my tub replaced since a tub replacement is required for them to remodel a bathroom, before wasting everyone's time. As they left I was also asked to make an amendment to my original review. I will give them this they did try to make it right even offering me a 100 off any job I wanted done that they can do for me.

If I could give Arnold's a negative rating- I would. In Mar, we talked to a lovely older man from Arnold's who went through all the stuff with us and we signed the contract to have a remodel on our bathroom. We then went in and picked out all the fixtures, etc. needed. We were given a start date in late May/early June. Arnold's was a no call- no show. We repeatedly attempted to call and the phones were never answered. When we finally got ahold of them, we were promised that the start date was now late August and to go ahead and order the merchandise we had picked out. August, September, and October were, again, no call- no shows. We told them in November that we would now have to wait until spring because I did not want people tromping with muddy boots and shoes in the house. Arnold's then promptly proceeded to cancel our funding and our order. Now, they want to charge us for part of what we ordered, but will not send an invoice of what we are to pay for and the charges.
