Go to Arnold's if your car has a problem. Do not shop any further than where your eyes are looking right now! Why?
They are honest.
Their pricing is fair, and they're honest about what they're charging.
They are friendly and want you to be happy -- honestly.
They tell the truth about what your car does and does not need.
They are finished with your car when they say they'll be finished.
They just know what they're doing.
There. I just reviewed an automotive repair shop, which is kind of weird, but I love telling people how great Arnold's is. Kate, I'm glad you liked them, too! -

Nice honest and trusted.
I started going here because my one neighbor has been coming here for years. Then I realized my other neighbor same thing. Then I found out my sisters husbands boss comes here as does her neighbor. We all keep going back because they are good and fair priced.
We had some work quoted at the dealer and Arnold's was cheaper.
This is NOT the kinda place where you bring in your car for the an oil change and they come out to you in the lobby and say "Maam could you step out here for a minute", and then show you some dirty air filter and tell you that have about 600 bucks of work that NEEDS to be done today.
If ya know what I mean.
They aren't like that here. -

I should have a bumper sticker that says, "My Car and My Money Go To Arnold's Automotive".
I really hate my car, but I sure do like Arnold's. They know me by name here, seriously. Of course, no one likes to take their car in for service...especially not as many times as I've had to take my V Dub Lemon, er, Jetta in...but Arnold's really makes it as painless as possible.
My family has been taking their vehicles here for years. After I got an absurd quote on a repair from Jim Ellis Volkswagen, I took my vehicle to Arnold's for over $1,000 cheaper and never looked back. I can call and get my car in same-day and generally have it back within the next day or two. Cindy at the front desk is amazing. I feel like I should have invited her to my wedding.
But most importantly, they're honest, affordable and reliable. Which is more than I can say about my darn car.
Oh, and they're right next to Bruster's, which is never a bad thing. But then again, so is my dentist. -

Acura told me two years ago I needed motor mounts. I let Arnold's look at the car and they told me I could go a while longer and informed me of signs that meant I NEED for motor mounts. I had the work done on the car this weekend (two years after Acura wanted it done) and for $200 less than Acura quoted.
Arnolds told me today that I have an upcoming need for Transmission mounts. But again, they told me I'm not in a rush, gave me the symptoms to look for and a quote for how much it is.
Cindy, the "receptionist" is very knowledgeable and understands my car fears and frustrations. She knows how to help me - and as a woman, I often feel helpless dealing with cars. But, she seems to make it okay.
I will definitely be using them again.
